Stepping off the shuttle she set her duffel bag off at her side and promptly saluted Rivets, "CPO Kira Ambermoon reporting for duty sir" She then handed him her orders.

  Rivets  returned  the salute   as he  waved her to Follow him...  Captain  Morris  Is   OIC  right Now... he's  monitorin'  a pair  of Piltos   who got into a  tussle...

  He Looked at the  papers,med tech released   ya.. you good?

Kira followed suit with Rivets, "Yes sir" she said as they made there way over to where Morris was at, "A Tussle eh... whats the situation?" she asked.

  ..Ack.. we  had  some  blatherskite  transfer in  from Matterhorn.... Lots  of  problems   wit the Lad... Lt Kase  took him out  on a patrol an' they  flushed out a Vampic  Vessel?..  some  figthers  were   sent out to   stop 'em… an' They Got  beat around.. we're  hopin' they make it back...

 Reaching   Captain Morris  who sat on a  barrel with his  laptop on a  crate,.. Ahhh... Hello PO?     Give  me   your  disc  and I run up your files....,Sorry we aren't in ther Shed, but we have  a pair of  birds out there...

Kira nodded, "I'm certain they will sir, Hermes has among the best pilots in the fleet, as for the troublemaker likely transfer him/her out possibly?" she said in response to Rivets as they reached where Morris was.

Kira nodded her head, "Not a problem captain take your time" she then handed over her disk to Morris.

  He  Slipped  a Disc  In,  and split the screen as her  files  were   downloaded into the Crew    file.

  Justin's  Gun Gam  only showed    him  coming back around..  Besserman's   was  erratic..   with  Justin's  battered  Nova  swinging in and out  of the shot.

 ..So?..PO Ambermoon... you will be  seeing   some  action   witht eh boarding   teams..in or out of  a Mech... says  you had  some training  while you  were down?

Kira nodded, "Yes sir i took the liberty of learning how to properly drive tanks and APC's when i was on leave from my Mech duties, i am however best suited in the cockpit of a mech and would prefer to continue such sir"

  Morris  ejects the  disc  and hands it back to her , with her   Info  updated... We  only have   2 Mech Riders   and    4 Machines  on board... if you have  your Machine, we   will be able to have  it ported over.   The Mechs have  been over   watch of the  assault  team Burners.. on the   enemy Vessels  as  well  as    running the flanks or protecting the   CP  when we get a beach head..  one must be  ready for  any right,  Right   PO?

Kira took the disc back and stashed it away safely, "I do still have my Mech its currently in the process of be moved over, and you are absolutely correct captain and i stand ready to face  any and all threats... i will not let you down sir" she said determined.

 Captain Morris    gets the COMs  that Justin and Besserman  made it to  The Fangs that Bite.

   leaning  back against the Bulkhead ,  Morris  says,...well PO?.. Welcome back aboard...  if you make your  way to  the NCO section, You will see  a Blinking Light  that will be your  quarters .. Punch in your pass word, and settle in.. I'm sure  you know  the way to the rec dec..?

 Rivets  Nods to the Both  and Moves to  the  the   main part of the  Hanger  dec to get ready  to recieve thier   damaged  aircraft.

Kira nodded, "Yes captain and thank you for having me" with that she saluted and took her leave and made her way up to the Rec Dec to get some food and to think things over.

Henry, a bit out of breath, arrived on the Hanger Dec.

"Where's Captain Morris? I need to speak with him urgently!"

 The SEC  trooper by the  Shed Pointed to the First Hanger bay door..  Morris could be seen sitting on a  Barrel with   a Vid board and Laptop  as he light up his pipe, by the static  field...hey Doc.. he's over there.. waiting for  our  two fighters to return, they seem to  have Mixed  it up with some of that Vampic  scum...

Henry didn't waste time putting the SEC trooper right, he just said "Thanks" and ran across the deck to where Morris was perched.

On arrival, he took a deep breath.

"Captain Morris, a word if you please?"

When Morris looks up...

"Please lay off the Vampics... the cap ship is filled with those opposed to the species' nastier habits, they are part of a conspiracy to turn things around and ally with us... but blowing seven hells out of them won't endear them to the orders they've just been given to cease firing on our forces."

   Captain Morris  smiled  at  Henry's approach m  his   eyebrows     furrowed  as  Henry laid out  the information.

  ahh?. well.. Bit late on that old chap..hmmm?   Just had a Dust up.. Kase and that..Besserman chap with some Vampic  scouts... The Cat, gave the Vampic   what for... pity they couldn't have closed witht hem.. but.. we have to take what we  get...Hmmmmm?

 he   puffed towards the static  field   as he    said,.. we are dealing with a
Predator RAce,     Herny?...  we cannot have  out people  ask them if its alright if they  shoot them?  if there is factions on that planet, better  for them  to sort themselves out.. I .. for one.. would rather   100  of them die, rather then one of ours, ebcause  we were being...'nice'?

"That's as maybe, but we cannot jeopardise getting another species into our federation just for a few trigger-happy pilots. The scouts are damaged but landed safely, they're OK and still on-side. Tell your fellows to stand down now."

Henry's voice was quiet but firm.

 the   aircar  Pulled  in.  he left  left teh window opened, as  they    moved to teh ramp. The troopers  at the    Bottom  nodded to them.  Cora  was sitting at the sign in table.

  yeah... seems  anyone who doesn't like us sorta walks away now... I think confrontation is just left to idiots.

  Rivets  stood  near the  Shuttle landing  area, having both fighters land there, to keep them away from teh flight lines...

   The  Big man had his arms crossed  as hr waited for the  pair to  land, to see what teh damage was.

 Captain Morris   Looked  at henry.,well.. they are on thier  way back.. I suppose  I need to Get to My office?.. You're  welcome to come along, for a spot of tea?  he  emptied out his pipe   by tapping it the  bowl  . on the outside of the static  field.

 then got his  can  and lap top to Hobble   to his shed.

Following Besserman in Justin coasted the 25 to a shuttle bay and powered down. Alighting from the damaged Nova he crossed the deck to Captsin O'Reilly apologising fo getting the kite shot up.

  Rivets looked  sadly at the two Novas,..ahhh.. Kase.. ye break me heart and that's me sayin' so... ye got alot of little holes  on yer  lass? I guess they dinna  have  big guns?

 Besserman  came  over Looked  like he was  put out,..I have a Protest, CAptain?

  Rivets Looked at Him  then to Justin with an Unbelieving  eye,Then looked back at Besserman,.. ya go with KAse  ta see  CAptain Morris.. ye can vent as ye will.. but  go now so I can take of these poor little lasses here.

Pulling up to the checkpoint Harry would chuckle at Will and Cora's comments before pointing out what she felt was a rather valid point "That and the fact that outlaw gangs and mercenaries don't generally hang out in French restaurants and movie theatres" though she had to admit that this had to be one of the first times that she'd visited a station without being shot at.

Once the air car had been parked somewhere where it wouldn't get in the way Harry would watch as the pair of battered Nova's limped into the hangar dec "ouch...looks like Justin had a rough night" she commented as the man in question made his way over to Morris' shed along with a decidedly bruised Besserman "oh well now that explains everything!" she said with a roll her eyes, completely un-surprised to see their most recent hotshot pilot at the centre of it all.

Deciding that it would be for the best if they left before anyone had chance to drag them into anything, Harry would gently interlace her fingers with Will's and head for the lifts. The last thing she wanted right now was to be volunteered for something, or even worse have to interact with that ass Besserman again!

Once she and Will were safely within the lift she'd hit the button that would take them up to the Rec Dec for a night cap. Were it not for the fact that the strongest thing in their quarters at this point in time was tea she'd have been tempted to skip the rec dec and head straight for the officers patch. However she fancied once last drink, and would be nice to hang around with some of the others and show off her pretty dress whilst hanging off the arm of her man before calling it a night.

Henry listened to Garrat's message and the reply.

"You should listen to Garrat, Captain. He seems to have a clear grasp of the situation."

When Morris got up and issued his invitation, he said "Thank you, Captain... I'd like some tea."

Henry followed Morris to the Shed.

As Roy moved away from Morris' shed, he keyed his comm, using the SEC channel.  "Anyone got eyes in Lt. Besserman?  We need to make sure he doesn't get himself crippled before the Admiral gets a chance to review his first mission for the Hermes..."  He debated whether to hit his quarters or the Rec Deck...his gut still wasn't happy about getting soaked in sangria before he ate...but it had been a few hours since his steak.

He then recalled that he'd left Larry in his office.  He knew what dog's could do when they were bored...he hoped largs weren't prone to the same behavior.  With a slightly quickened step, he headed for SEC.
