Popping the last of his meal in his mouth Justin chewed it for a few seconds then swallowed. Attemptinga UK toff's accent Justin glanced about then leaned forward. So far this appears to be shaping up to be a bit of a dog's breakfast. Justin quietly proposed then added. I say, Waggles old bean, what's your take on this situation?

  Waggles  shakes his head, This isn't  good, but we're killing bad guys, maybe this will help speed up colonization  of the two planets... The bad thing is, we're losing people to fight  things that aren't a direct threat,at the same  time, once we clean these two houses, well have more of a  bumper  between  Bu and Lizard  space,  and Etna and  Matterhorn.

 Larry thumped  his  tail  as Shadow   came  down the stairs, and  gather his  bucket. One more   rub on the noggin, and the LC left, leaving   Larry  to guard the Admiral

When Candy stood, Madison tossed her garbage on her tray, standing right after her. "That sounds like a great idea. Who knows if we'll get another chance." She stepped back from the table and followed, dropping of her tray on the way out.

"Actually, my skeeter is pretty banged up. Do I have to go back over there to get a status, or will they call me?"

 Floes loked around as they left the Mess Hall, walking to the Barracks.Shadow  walked off  right away, But I saw Frans   talking to the Ground crew guys.. They'll either Fix them, or  replace them.. I'm sure the Forge  ships  have some kind of system set up... But if we  keep  going though  Skeeters like this, we may be back to the Old Fighters..

 reaching the   Barracks,  they walk down to thier   bunks,  Flores puts her flight  jacket and armor on top and takes off her boots.I think I'll wash everything but my flight suit, that way i can wear that, while the rest  dries

Hearing Candy's plan, Madison wondered. She just washed everything last night. Her clothes didn't feel particularly soiled, but she did sweat a little from their time in the sun and the stress of the fight certainly raised her temperature. Before making a decision, she went ahead and followed her lead. First the weapons, then the jacket and armor, followed by the boots. Her socks could definitely use a wash. Her flight suit was fine, but after removing it, she could feel that her undergarments had a sticky feel to them.

"Obviously, you've done this before." She set her flight suit on top of her jacket, then piled her socks and undershirt on her armor. "It looks like I'm following your lead again. There are so many little things to learn."

After heading into the shower room, Madison cleaned herself and everything she brought with her. Following the same routine as the night before, she made her way out to her bunk, slipped on her flight suit, and hung everything else to dry. Then she went back into the bathrooms to do a better job of shaking out her hair. Since she was asleep, she had no idea how long it would be for everything to dry, but if she were home in Wyoming, in the same heat, they might only be 30 minutes or so.

"Hey, Candy. I have an idea. We can lay out all this stuff in the sun. I bet it would take less than half the time to dry."

Still unconvinced that she wasn't wasting her time and would be of more use manning a comm's station back on the Hermes, Izzy would quietly do as she was told which generally meant hanging back and keeping out of everyone else's way so that they could do what they were good at.

Upon receiving the call from Cora that she was needed, Izzy would roll her eyes at the use of what was seemingly her new nickname before replying "Roger that" and heading to where Cora was. Upon finding her she would give her a questioning look as she waited to see what was required of her.

    Flores  smiled  as they entered    the shower  roomyeah , well,, we're  sitting in an evironment controll cockpit,  and we can't   even take one step, then you start  shooting, being  shot..  we always need a shower... The Guys  seem tonot care one way or the other... But?.. I rather   look good  and smell better then  they  do!

 a body in the chair, had a Officer's sword  Jammed  to the Hit in its chest...it wore an officers  Uniform..Captain?... except the head  was a Malformed  Chinese  with one  'fly-like' eye and a  claw for a left  hand..

Morgan said,,I'm thinking  Doc Henry should see this...

Startled by Steele's voice, Madison shrieked and spun to face him, covering up with her towel. "Oh my God!" She saw Steele there wearing only a smile and a towel. "What the fuck is wrong with you, Steele? Get out!" She backed away, trying to find a way to cover better. Candy bantered with him for a moment then Frans came in from behind knocked him to the ground. Madison was relieved when Howe ran in and carted Steele out.
After the little scene had passed, Flores showed up explaining how Steele followed them.

"Gods. I swear. I was willing to give the guy a chance to prove he wasn't a jerk, but he seems so determined to prove otherwise." She finished with her hair.. or at lease got it to good enough and then went back to her bunk. Flores suggested they lay out in the sun with their clothes. That sounded like a great improvement on the plan. After they were done, Madison went back to her bunk. Her underwear and bra would be better for laying out. They were still wet, but if they were out in the sun, they wouldn't be wet for long. They were cold in all the wrong places when she put them on, so she gathered her other wet things and hastened outside.

There was a clearing off to the right of the barracks entrance. It had some grassy like foliage, enough too be softer than the ground itself. Madison first laid out all her wet garments, then spread down a towel. Finding the best angle, she put on her sunglasses and stretched herself out in the full rays of the E1 star.

"You know, Candy, we're just encouraging the Steele's of the world by doing this."

  I look at it this way.... Madison laid back, pulling over her armor plate as a pillow.

"Well, hopefully they send him to a counselor before feeding him a larg or something. Anyway, as far as combat zones go, this one isn't so bad. At least the weather's nice. I might actually get some color."

 Meari moved with Zob and Kira, she covered Kira when she opened the door. Meari looked around and picked up the full and empty vials, and checked to see if there was anything else of value in here.

Zob did a sweep and clear of the rooms before calling out clear he then approched the bed and looked at the figures perhaps children and maybe the mother? was hard to tell due to the extent of the decomposition, "Nine hells it looks almost like ritualistic sacrifice" he then stepped back away from the bodies before hitting his com, "Dr Christie we need you up here right away to check out this body" he said into the coms before searching around the room for anything else of interest.

  Morgan said,we got one of them Humanoid-bug things up here...Doc should  check that out as wel.... we're gonna move  down to the next door.

 shortly  after  , Morgan COMs  again.Got another Intersection.. Inboard is like the last one, debris, structure  steel and lots of  rock and dirt..outboard  side  has another  Hatch way.. Will says its   sealed.. Just passed the intersection  we have a door  on both sides.. and a  Big door straight ahead... Judging  by how far we walked... could be for the bridge?

Zob walked up to one of the troopers, "See to it that Dr Henry gets to check out both rooms" he then walked out the room moving with purpose, "Understood if its the bridge we need to secure those logs so all teams get ready to breach the door" he then made his way down to the big door if it was indeed the bridge getting those logs first had to be a priority then search the side hatchways then again it could be something far worse given what has been displayed so far and they had to be very careful.

Kira moved up to the door with Morgan and took her position ready to open the door on Zob's call.

Zob after a moment made his way through up to the front of the group and readied his rifle at the door, "Alright mech team lets get those doors open" he then took a deep breath for whatever awaited them on the other side.
