Once the door was closed, Madison hug both arms around Zob's neck and kissed him deeply, kicking her feet casually. She broke it after... some amount of time "Same rules as before, Mr.Zob. We're going to cut loose and have wild fun. No restraint allowed."

After she broke off the kiss he grinned and brought her to the bed and set her down, he striped his shirt off seconds after and tossed it onto the chair, "No worries its gonna be a long night of fun" he then moved in to embrace her in a very long night of wild fun as she put it.

The alarm blared way too soon. Given the night Madison had, anytime that day might have been too soon. Her eyes didn't want to open, but the rising volume of the digital beeps penetrated her skull, adding to the thundering in her head. "All the Gods, please make it stop."

As wakefulness forced itself on her, she became aware of the weight of her own body. Every muscle ached as well as more than a few bones and joints. She had yet to even move, but the room was already spinning, stirring a hollow wretch in her stomach. Some of her condition was easily attributable to the toxic quantity of Burian whiskey she consumed. The rest was due to the burning hot wall of solid muscle spooned against her.

Not that she was complaining. Zob gave a hell of a night at and after the party. He felt good against her back, but with the alarm he was already stirring. She doubted he was suffering the same after effects of the unbridled hedonism, but even if he was still a bit weary from their frenetic evening, she knew that he wasn't going to linger when they had someplace important to be.

Before she knew it, Zob was up and out of the bed, already pulling on his clothes. Madison had to get up too, but it hurt. With a groan she managed to prop herself up on an elbow.

"Good morning," Talking hurt too. "I'd ask why you're in such a rush, but I already know. Before you go, though, I want to say thanks for showing me an amazing night. I needed it. It's not going to be weird between us, is it?"

Zob was slipping on his pants when she spoke, "Good morning as well" he smiled, "I had a wonderful time as well and i see no reason why things should be weird between us" he then slipped the belt around his waist as he continued getting dressed but he still took his time.

"UUUUnnnnnnhhhh!" Madison groaned as she spun up to a sitting position. Absolutely everything hurt, inside and out, and her head was swimming. She had to stay there held up by her arms for several seconds supported by her arms. As she gathered the will to move again, she watched Zob getting dressed. He was a magnificent man. Tall, strong, with some very arousing attributes. And he was considerate. There was nothing not to like about him and the afterglow just made him more attractive.

After a few seconds Madison rose to her feet and managed not to groan. To not push her luck, she shuffled over to where Zob was about done dressing himself and gave him a hug. It was a big embrace she held for several moments, rubbing his back and arms as she laid her head against his chest.

"I guess we have to get ready for the send off, huh?" She released him and shuffled back. "Okay, I need a shower. I'm going to jump in. Just close the door behind you okay?"

With a final kiss, Madison went and jumped in the shower, avoiding seeing Zob actually leave.

Zob gave a small smile after her kiss and bid her farewell he made his way back home to go and get his formal attire for the send off then make his way down to the hanger dec to join the honor guard.

The shower helped with he stiff muscles, but not her soreness so much. She'd been sore before. Riding horses, working out... a motorcycle accident; this was a little worse than that. It was manageable as long as she moved slowly. She spent some time getting presentable, leaving a few things alone to minimize movement. It took a little longer, but eventually she made it into her dress uniform. Knowing that it would also take extra time, she left early to go to the Send  Off.

Once locked in her quarters, Madison stripped out of her dress uniform down to her underwear. Leaving everything on the floor where she dropped it, she set her alarm for 1900, then slid into bed and slept.

Blinking and bleary-eyed, Madison awoke to the loud and annoying alarm. The good news was that her headache seemed to be gone, and the noise didn't make her pass out. Before moving she took stock of herself. No headache, no nausea. That was a plus. She sat up. Still sore, though not as bad. The meds must have been minimizing it. Most of the pain was in her ribs and hips, and a little internal discomfort. It was good enough. Doing a tunnel run in full gear might just compound everything, but that would be after the fun.

She had an hour, but having never done it before, she wanted to get there early and ask her dumb questions. Ignoring the ache, she gathered her full uniform, armor and weapons and put them all on as quickly as possible. She wasn't sure if she should have her crash kit or not, so she picked that up and exited.

As soon as the door sealed behind her, Madison put her weapons on her desk, then stripped until all she was wearing was a thin sheen of sweat. Before her shower, she stopped to look at herself in the mirror. The hangover, the run, and a healthy dose of righteous fury made her almost unrecognizable to herself. The revelation about Zob had her twisted. It hurt. A lot. Why she wasn't crying, she had no idea. Maybe because aside from her anger and regret, she was also conflicted about who she was mad at and who betrayed her.

When she partied with Zob the night before, no commitments were made and none were expected. She initiated the first dance. She pressed him to be more engaging and to open up. She urged him on all night to get wild all the way up until the predictable conclusion. It was all very out character for her, but she did it and she couldn't attribute it to his demonic influence. If anything, it might be the other way around.

Zob wasn't blameless. He should have said something. He could have stopped her at any point. How he would reconcile what happened with his marriage was on him. Maybe demon's didn't hold the same expectation of fidelity in a marriage, or he could be in an open marriage. Whatever the truth of it, he still should have said something. Madison felt like a fool.

Screaming silently at herself in the mirror wasn't making Madison feel any better. She wanted to be numb and the quickest way to do that was to go to sleep. Shower first.

For the second time that day, Madison had a full shower, deep scrubbing every inch, including her hair. Showers were wonderful therapeutic devices. By the time she had dried and blown out her hair, she already felt better. The what ifs were still playing in head, but after taking a dose of pain killers she wrapped herself in her bed and let the sandman have his way with her.

  Flores  arrived  a hour or so Later...He  rang  Maddy's   Buzzer.. and  waited outside with a bag in her hand.

    She GAve   the Guys a  unsteady smile as she looked   down at the   lifts. Syiffy just gave her a thumbs up,

Madison awoke to the sound of the door buzzer. She was in a deep sleep, but somehow it broke through. It took her a few moments to gather her thoughts, but wakefulness jumped ahead of the line as she realized her visitor may decide not to wait.

"ONE SECOND!!" She called out, hoping her voice was enough to be heard through the metal door. After jumping out of bed, she took two steps before realizing that she was completely naked.

"Shit!" She ran over to her closet, pulling out a clean flight suit. She stepped into the legs as she walked to the door then slipped her arms into the sleeves just before she opened, it.

"Candy?!" Madison was surprised. "Hey. Is everything okay? Come in." Backing away, she let Candy come in, pulling out her desk chair and offering it to her before sitting on the bed.

"What's going on?" She noticed the light on her com, indicating she had a message. As Candy explained the reason for the visit, she retrieved her device from the desk and checked the messge.

It was from Zob. He wanted her to come visit him the next day. Still listening, she sent a quick reply.

Okay. Tell me what time.

..She Held Up a  1/2 quart of ice  crea and two spoons..... I just hear you..um...had  a sudden  wealth of information?.. thought this would help?... Its French Vanillia?... One of the LC's  favs..he  thinks its  exotic...  She  sat down and Opened  the   container. sliding a spoon to her side.

When Candy said ice cream, Madison looked over at the container in one of Candy's hands and the spoons in the other. Whatever else she was thinking evaporated. The Com clunked on the floor as she took one of the spoons then sat on the desk with a big smile.

"You know the way to my heart, Candy Flores." She took a spoonful of vanilla and put the whole thing in her mouth. Fluutering eyes followed a satisfied moan. "MMmmmm. Heaven."

"So, yeah. I assume you mean that I found out that Zob was married." She sounded rather matter-of-faact about it. Whatever else she might be feeling, the ice cream had her full attention. "Sorry. I didn't find out. I overheard it from someone else not Zob." On the second spoonful, she took more time to savor it, sucking a little of it from the spoon at a time. "The way you reacted to me telling you about me and him this morning, I didn't think you cared to get into this subject. Thanks for being here now. I needed it."

  Flores  took a  spoon full of the 'exotic  French vanilla.

  well.. truth is.... when you were dancing and went off to the Pulse? I didn't think anything of it..right?.. I mean..Zob and Melia  got married on Roussia in a damned shell hole.., they had  a bit of a reception here... but.. Melia , well she was  captured  and Tested on by Demons.. she has these  scars   that glow a bit like Demons ...anyway..she didn't like the thought of Zob being on board..  I learn4ed all those over the years  after i came in?  Anyway, Melia  Orria was a Kid , Doc  henry saved, and Melia adop0ted her..she  pretty smart, works  with  Beth, Hands out with Shade.. i'm betting, when the time comes  , she Gets sent of OTC for COM Tech.

 another  spoonful....I didn't have a chance to warn you?... but hey?  you guys had  fun , right ?..Melia  is on that  Med tech ship with a few other of our Med techs....

  There was a Girl who  was  seeing an instructor in San Diego? she found out  he was married  and went to the Admiral  .. the board was convened  and She was tossed from the  academy....  The Admiral had a  accident  not long after..and the   Instructors  wife  received some  Vids  form  'a fired'... she left her  husband..and  he  had an accident a week later... his wife got all the9nsurance money... 

 she  took another  spoonful and   waved the   spoon at Maddy,That won't happen here.... Zob is  a good guy, Demon or not?.. Melia  is a stand  up Lady...They'll work it out one way or the other, if she ever  comes back?..and   lets face it, none of us know  what  demons down when the clock out and go home?

 anyway.. after you told  me  about last night.. i didn't want to say anyhting, until  we had a quiet time.... and?  i was a bit too late it seems...not a very good wingman...

Madison listened to what Candy was saying. Madison wasn't sure if she was following everything Candy related, but the gist was what she already knew. Zob was married. His wife was away on a different ship, but as far as Candy knew they were still a thing.

"None of this is your fault."

"Yes, I had fun. Hells, I had a blast. No gory details, but I wasn't sore because I was hungover. It's just that I feel like maybe this is all my fault. I kind of urged him to open up and to let loose. Yes, I was drunk off my ass. I couldn't even begin to tell you if he was. That's not an excuse, but I'm just saying that I initiated a lot. Not everything, but I certainly didn't discourage anything."

"I think I could have handled it if he said, hey it was fun but that's all. I wasn't expecting any commitments. But he didn't say that so when I saw him at the run I expected he would come over and say hi at least. He didn't. Then when I waved to him on the Rec Dec, he waved back but when I sat across from him, he didn't even acknowledge me. Then he ran off and I heard about his wife. It was just upsetting. It's still upsetting. But I just got a message from him saying he wants me to go see him in the Civie area tomorrow. Hopefully he'll tell me what's going on."

 Cady Listened, nodded a few times.... then scooped another  spoonful,all i am saying?  we have our  own little city wrapped in tinfoil..we got al kids of  folks//Married.. dating..single..whatever... but 80% are military and , wel.. there isn't a tomorrow  guaranteed?.

 he might be a different race..species..whatever you want to call it..but he is a male.. yoiu didn't know?... hey?  Guys  target  Ladies..nothing wrong with Ladies targeting guys... targets  say 'yes"..it  ain;t on us!

 Blame the LC..he helped get you drunk! she grins.

"Okay, I get your point." Big scoop of ice cream. "But let me just say... he is definitely male. By all the Gods in every heaven, I know quite well that he's... yes. Very very male." She licks the vanilla scoop then turns it over to lick the other side. "_{So very male}"

"I like your idea though. It's all the LC's fault."

 She   Clicked  spoons with Made as she giggled  at her  words...To  'The LC's Fault"

 and gets  another spoon full.

  Flores   stood and   laid  her  spoon on the table,well? I'm done...  I  going to get some sleep, i want to be on the Hanger Dec  when the new folks  come in, and hope  we don't get another Vosts..Its  fun to see the SM and  LC handle new folks.... so you get to see the ones who will  be sent away, or..maybe had to check the Hull for paint , without a suit...

 She Points  at the spoons,   Save those... who knows when we'll need them again!

Madison stood up with Candy and gave her a big hug. "Thanks Candy. I really appreciate you coming by. You're the best. Have a good night."

 Flores  smiled , heading  down the  passage way to her  own quarters.

When Madison awoke the following day, her headache was gone and she felt oddly refreshed. An exhausting run, good drugs and fifteen hours of accumulated sleep can do that for you. The nice visit with Candy and halt a quart of ice cream really helped too. But all that wasn't going to take away the body aches. The run and extra house of sleep just exacerbated the stiffness in her joints and inflammation of her muscles. She needed to move, but moving hurt.

Getting a grip on her pain and, Madison finally dragged herself out of bed. She had wanted to go to the Hangar Dec to see the new recruits. Maybe if she could move a little faster, she might make it. Having already showered the night before, she brushed her teeth, straightened the bedhead from her hair, and put on her uniform and weapons. It took longer than it could have but she pulled it together quickly enough. Once ready she ran out to the Hangar Dec.

From Officer's Quarters

Once in her quarters, Madison set her rifle and crash kit to he side, then stripped down out of her armor and weapons and uniform. The trek down the river washed off most of the dirt from her run, but she would feel a lot cleaner after a full shower, which jumped into with some haste. It was a full body scrub with scented skin conditioner and the same for her hair. While she didn't take a lot of time blow drying it out, she did still prepare as if she was going out socially.

For travel, Madison pulled out a small travel bag. First she packed the things she would need regardless. Some toiletries and cosmetics, a couple pairs of fresh underwear, an extra bra, sun glasses and a swim suit. Next she chose a party dress for the girls night out with some lacy undergarments in case anyone else got to see them. Assuming they would be there a couple days, she picked out a day dress, some jeans and couple tops. When she got to the shoes, room in the bag was getting tight, so she took some heels to match her party dress, and a pair general sandals she could wear with anything. She would wear her tennis shoes for the trip down.

Once packed, Madison dropped her towel and dressed in jeans a tight half top and wide necked over shirt. She put her sidearm in her purse with extra magazine and her Military credentials, and double checked her supply the usual essentials. Going through it reminded her to grab the medicine Doctor Verault
gave her for he hangover. There was a good bet she might need that too.

Once all packed up she sent a text back to Lizzy
