Leaving the noise of the faire behind, Henry and Val arrived at the Palace. It was strangely quiet without even Can or Mila.

Henry smiled at Val.

"Shall we?"

  Val  nodded,we are very fortunate, that we are able to get  good palces to stay when  we  dock? But a palace  is somthign  we don't see  often!

 There was a Beep  on Henry's COM showing    Can clutching  a Vidgame  with  an wide open mouth and Bugged out eyes.. Shadow  added a text..' He won a  Grand Prize  at fishing game'

Val giggle,Its  hard to imagine, how different his life  was..or would have been...

 they walked  in a servant   pointed to the dinning room...There are  food  and drinks  int eh dinning  room, your   apartment  is  on the second  floor, a guide  will take you there when you are ready.

 Sam got out of the van first when they got to the Palace, it was grand and beautiful and it was home too Sam. Madison was s till bouncing when they got out of the van. She was extremely talkative the entire ride over. She was excited from the drink and excited to be going to the palace. She had never been to a palace before. It was like a fairytale come true in more ways than one. When Sam said they were good to go, she was even more excited. Staying in a palace was a dream come true.

"So, we're going partying right? Dancing, drinking, getting crazy? I just want to make sure I am properly dressed for the occasion"

Henry sent a "Well done!" to Can, then turned to Val.

"Shall we eat first? I'm starving."

He nodded to the staff member pointing the way and led Val in, seeing her seated.

 Lizzy got out and smiled at Sam," Thank you Sam for everything, and Yes Madison it is party time, dancing, drinking, just lots of fun. Lets go change and meet in the lobby ok."

     the food  was   on Buffet style  at this late   time. But there choices  were of  meats   and soups, there seemed to be attempts ay  Lasagna, but it didn't  look   quite right.. greens  yellows   and Blues started out from the warmign trays.

  Val went to work right away, she grabbed  two rolls a thin slice of the lasagna, and a soupbowl of a creamy   soup that may...or may not, be mushroom soup,

 Frans   Ecjles , Mara  and   3 crewman from some other ship..at elast one  was from Hera, sat  and   aate while chatting.

 NA-CE got out of the van and Sam had set them up nicely with VIP rooms in the Palace, Sam must be a high up in the Burian Fleet to get this type of treatment. " Yes thank you very much Lt. this is amazing almost as beautiful as the Palace on the Blue Angel Moon."

 NA-CE smiled then followed the others into the Palace and Sam gave them directions to their rooms. " Yes it is party time, this will be interesting to see how human females party."

Still carrying her giant cuddly pegasus, Izzy would climb out of the van and follow Sam through the ornate corridors of the palace, giving her a few minutes to speak with the sentries before being told told that she had arranged for a pair of suites; one for her and Lizzy and one for Madison and NA-CE to share ”Oh thank you Sam, that’s amazing” she said before speaking to an extremely excitable Maddy ”yes, drinking, dancing and making dumb decisions, if it helps Maddy I’m going to be wearing a little red dress and heels and Lizzy will be wearing…two pieces of string and a napkin is it?” she said, turning to give Lizzy an impish grin as she teased her over her usual choice of outfits ”anyway I’ll see you girls in a few” she said before disappearing with Lizzy into their suite.

After taking a few moments to admire the lavish suite they had been given Izzy would place her pegasus into a nearby chair before heading into the bedroom to quickly change out of her skirt and blouse and into the red cocktail dress and matching heels she had brought with her, with the dress nicely showing off her slender figure, and surprisingly large bust considering her size, as well as a fair amount of leg. Followed by her putting in a pair of contact lenses and doing her makeup in between stealing glances at Lizzy as she likewise got ready, with Izzy eagerly looking forward to dancing with her and their friends ”So what do you think? Will I do?” Izzy asked once she had finished applying the finishing touches and struck a pose, trying her best not to giggle as she did so.

 Lizzy carried her four armed monkey as well, Lizzy said," Yes lets all go change see you ladies in a few." Lizzy looked a little embarrassed but she knew Izzy was right, Lizzy smiled and replied," I will be wearing my umm very low cut red Burian dress and shoes I bought here last time."

 Lizzy walked into their huge lavish suite and said," Damn Sam went all out, well from what I hear Sam is a big wig in the Burian Fleet." Lizzy got out of her civi clothes and put her monkey next to Izzy's Pegasus. Lizzy put on her mesh Burian red lingerie set, then pulled on the red dress and put on her red shoes. The low cut dress and the mesh bra made her large chest look even bigger. Lizzy put on a little makeup and made her hair look presentable, then she looked at Izzy and said," Hell yes I think you will do just perfectly."

 Lizzy kissed Izzy then hugged her tight then added," Ok lets get back so we have some time out."

When she was shown her room, Madison rushed in, spinning in circles to take it all in at once. Or at least as much as she could. Spinning in her state wasn't the best plan, though. She quickly got dizzy and barely found the bed before she fell over. Rolling onto her back the room continued to spin even though she was sunk into the soft mattress. She didn't count the time it took to straighten out, instead she covered her mouth and closed her eyes while praying not to puke.

Her prayers were answered.

With a world no longer moving, Madison sat up and took in the room more slowly. The general decor was all in white. It was beautiful, but she wondered how difficult it was to keep that clean. She imagined the staff in the palace was really good at keeping everything looking its best. That was their job. Her job, however, was to make sure she looked her best to go out. Jumping up, she stripped down and hit the shower.

Twenty minutes later, Madison emerged from the bathroom with radiant hair, smooth clean skin and a beauty enhancing application of makeup. She brought her only party dress with her, but a conforming little black dress with a loose U-shaped neckline was always a crowd pleaser. Diamond drop earrings put some sparkle on her ears, and the triple diamond necklace drew the eye to the top of her cleavage setting off the visual adventure that traversed supple curves bare legs and ended with lashed black heels. Gold and diamond bracelets draped both wrists and a thin gold anklet made sure there was something to see no matter where the eyes fell.

After a dash of perfume, she put grabbed her clutch and went out to meet up with the other ladies.,

 NA-CE went to her suite, and it was absolutely gorgeous, it looked like some Angel architecture as well. She got her stuff and only had a very few nonduty or combat items to wear. NA-CE did have one Angel dress it was a gift from her mother. It was a blue ankle length dress, that had a slit on one side, it was u cut and showed some cleavage, and the back was open. NA-CE filled it out well and it complimented her figure. Angels really didnt need makeup, she put on some comfortable flats she didnt need to be any taller with the group she was traveling with, the tallest was 5'4" and she stood 6'1".

 Once she was dressed and ready, she did make sure she had her Angel steel knife in her garter and her sidearm in the other garter. NA-CE then headed out of her room to meet the others and head out.

 Sam watched the others go to their rooms, Sam then went down the hall and found her room. She went in and it was spotless and well taken care of an she hadn't been here for a while. Sam showered real quick, then put on her Burian flower sundress, she was going to wear one of her Angel silk gowns but she would wait for a special occasion for those.

 Sam put very little makeup on, once she was ready to go, she got her purse and headed for the lobby to meet the other ladies.

 Sam got there first and talked with a driver to get them a ride to the nearest area of clubs and bars.

Henry decided to try a bowl of the soup, and built himself a towering sandwich.

He still felt a little lost without Mila at his side. But he could feel her in the back of his mind, contented, surrounded by largs and with the prospect of lots of running around in the morning. It appeared she was sticking close to Can.

Giggling delightedly in response to Lizzy’s comments, Izzy would lean up to return the kiss as Lizzy’s arms went around her in an embrace ”and you…as per usual…look absolutely ravishing, which I suppose is what comes from falling for the prettiest girl in the fleet” she quietly whispered into her ear before reluctantly pulling away from her before the temptation of the nearby bed became too strong ”ok let’s go and meet up with the others, shall we?” she said, taking Lizzy by the hand, after collecting her purse, and heading out the door when they were ready to do so.

Standing in the lobby area Izzy would wait for the others to join them, checking out the local bars on her comms unit as she waited.

 Lizzy smiled and replied," Thank you Izzy but I am far from the prettiest girl in the fleet but I am so glad you think so." Lizzy got her purse and then took Izzy's hand and said," Yes lets go meet the others and have a great time."

 Lizzy and Izzy went down to the lobby to meet the others, Lizy saw Sam talking to some of the drivers.

 NA-CE walks down into the lobby and walks over to Izzy, Lizzy and Sam, she then says," Wow you three look amazing I think we will have a lot of heads spinning tonight."

Madison saw NA-CE, Lizzy, and Izzy the moment she stepped off the lift. She pranced over there, with a short shriek of excitement. "All my Gods, you guys look fantastic. Wow!" She spun NA-CE around to get a look. "That's such a beautiful dress. I'm so jealous. Where's Sam? I can't wait to hit the town." She started to dance in place to the music in her head.

 Sam had set up a ride to the local club area, she walks over a few seconds after Madison shows up. " We are set ladies, and you all look amazing, when we walk in the place should go silent." Sam giggled the added," Ok ladies follow me."

 Sam led them to the VIP entrance and a car was waiting for them, Sam said," Ok Ladies here is our ride, go ahead and get in and lets get this party started." Sam made sure everyone was in the car, she got into the front with the driver and they headed off into the City.

 Dusk and Roy walked into the Palace , they were shown  which dining  room had  food  and  drink.. and there were  drinks in the study, that lead to the library

Roy grimaced as they walked into one of the studies that had been pointed out.  "Hmmmmm...last time we were here, I had a sit-down with Sakura about what she wanted to do on the Hermes and how best to get integrated..."  He scowled slightly, and added, "Didn't turn out so well as I had hoped.  She managed to ignore at least half of everything I told her."

He shrugged.  "But it sounds like she's found her niche, somewhat.  It'd be nice if she showed half the enthusiasm for wrapping up the war that she seems to have for rolling in the sheets with her pilot, but sometimes people come at things from weird angles.  Maybe that's the anchor she needed to connect her to everything that's going on."

He shook his head, looking at Dusk with an apologetic grin.  "Right now, she's not my problem.  Sorry...I spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to utilize my personnel, and most are easier to puzzle out than she's been.  Did you get enough to eat at the faire?  Drinking on an empty stomach is bad for you..."

 NA-CE smiled at Madison and spun for her, and replied," Oh thank you Madison it is Angel silk it was a gift from my mother when I graduated Special Forces training 100 years ago." NA-CE smiled at Madison and then Sam showed up and brought them to a car she had set up.

 NA-CE was happy she decided to join this group with Sam's connections they were getting very special treatment and she was enjoying it. She was worried being a full Angel she might have problems with a human crew, but the Hermes was different, and she felt at home right away and the wway the ladies were treating her she felt like a part of the family already.

 NA-CE followed Sam and then got into the car, and when everyone was in they headed off to the city.

"Oh wow you guys look amazing! Maddy those bracelets are so pretty!" Izzy gushed as the others joined them, taking a moment to admire the outfits and jewellery on display before following Sam out to the waiting car. Carefully sliding into the back of the car so as to avoid rucking up her dress, Izzy would sit besides Lizzy and hold her hand as the driver took them towards the city and it's bright lights and clubs.

 They sat at the table, there  were a few Hermes folks there.. Frans  was By herself  eating a salad and  taking a drink of...something.

"Do you want to go out on the town or shall we take an early night?" Henry asked Val.

 Val   shook her head,we had  enough excitemtn for one  night..we should enjoy the palace, and , after you meeting  tomorrow, maybe  we  can see the City.

For his own part, Roy had been relatively content with the fare from the carnival booths...for all that they were nowhere close to gourmet dining, carnival hot dogs were still a massive step up from field rations...hot, loaded with fresh fixings, and with plenty of flavor thanks to liberal applications of ketchup and mustard.

But he remembered the food at the palace, from the last visit...he could find room for a few more bits and pieces...  He loaded up a small plate with what was, effectively, finger foods and appetizers, something to snack on in an appropriately social manner while Dusk got the meal she wanted.

They sat down, and he noticed Frans eating alone.  "Flying solo tonight, Lieutenant?" he asked, with a slight grin.

"Sounds good to me, my love."

Henry settled down to enjoy his sandwich.

  Frans Gave  Roy a wry smile. yeah, more or less.. Eck is running wild  with Mara NO-CA. I'm burned out.. I'm looking forward  to that   Palace Bed and a good night's sleep when i'm done..it was nerve  wracking,  we had  Shadow   and Shade i one spot.  You and the  Admiral somewhere  else, and   Nivarians, running through the  woods like a lemming stampede...wouldn't have been so bad  if  we could have  just strafed  them all..

 The Faire helped  ease  that a bit, that was fun..but i didn't need to  'go hunting' tonight.

 Val and henry sat, relaxed.   there were fewer people  by the Minute  as they left for thier rooms.

 I think it is  time  to see to our room? she smiled a bit.

"Certainly, darling. It's this way I think..."

And off they went, hand in hand.

Roy choked slightly on the morsel he'd been chewing at the question, a grin crossing his face.  "For overnight companionship, I believe was her reference..." he replied, loud enough that Frans could hear him, but not loud enough to carry through the room.  It was one thing to potentially embarrass her in front of Dusk...it was another thing to tell the entire dining area that Frans sometimes scoped out someone to sleep with when Fate didn't set someone on her tail first.

He looked back at Frans.  "It was a pretty crazy way to start a shoreleave.  If I'd had time to say anything about it, I'd have told you all to go after the Admiral.  We had Larry and his pack with us, minus the smallest one, and I don't feel like we were ever in any particularly serious danger."  It said something about the situations he'd faced in his time on the Hermes that he sounded completely serious about having a significant percentage of the larg masters on the planet hunting them and not considering it 'serious danger'.  "And if the Nivarians...well, those that rebelled, at least...had any real sense of strategy, they'd have known that getting Admiral Hack would have been a much bigger prize than us, no matter how much they hated our handling techniques."

He paused, looking at something that resembled a cherry tomato before he popped it in his mouth and chewed it, nodding in appreciation of the flavor.  "I do have to wonder at what point they realized they were going to have to come after us directly, as their attempts to stick us with the most heavily populated terrain in the exercise zone were repeatedly failing spectacularly.  And damned if it didn't feel good to look around that whole area and see that we had more smoke markers out than the whole rest of the larg force combined..."

  Frans was finishing up. she  wiped her  mouth  and  Picked up her dishes. a  Burian servant   popped up  and took the  thinks with a look of  some one who was  offended by her actions.

 Smiling a bit  as she walked to th  entrance, You two have a good Night, and   SM? There is shore leave  tomorrow, but that doesn't mean we are guaranteed a 'next' shore leave... she  smiled at  him and left..

 Dusk   said,..we can take out  drink  and go on the balcony now? her food  wasabout gone, she  still had  half of her drink

Roy waved a dismissal of Frans' words.  He understood what she was saying...he merely chose not to think about life in those terms.  Not even while on shore leave...

He turned to Dusk when she spoke.  "Lead the way," he answered with a smile.

  Dusk and  Roy  moved  to the Balcony , outside the Library.  perhaps the  books  were enough to scare most shipmates away!

   they    sat on a   double lounge, , Massive trees  as  far as they could see, with a few lights  telling them , that some of those 'trees' were   building  , build along with the trees, instead of , in spite of them.

  Dusk  leaned against Roy, her drink almost finished. her metallic  voice a bit  quiet as she started to doze...

  <..i hear some ship mades, Mostly the   Udinese...and  now and then father..and some tohers... Talk of  'child hoods'... Shade  and I , did not have childhoods?  we were born...and there we were... most memeories given  to us  By Mother, with.I am sure...some  of Father's in there..Shade, was able to spend more time with Father...to ..'grow up'..i was  with Evertt and Adem... that was not a good time for me....I  wonder...if   i would have been different...if...i would have  stayed...on..the Hermes...  her head relaxed against his chest..and she was asleep.

 Henry   and VAl reach their apartments, that were in the VIP section. Their luggage  and   prize winnings  waiting for them.

Henry and Val will enjoy their night without any children or animals around, thank you. See you in the morning :)

Roy smiled sadly at the question, the sadness growing a little as she dozed off and wouldn't see his reaction.  "Yes...you would have been different," he answered softly, knowing that she wouldn't be consciously listening.  But sometimes, it was the subconscious that needed to hear something.

"But you wouldn't have been you.  You wouldn't have had to find the fortitude to break out of Evert's shadow in that first battle, where you took command.  You would still have been fierce and determined...but it would have been something that you grew up with, instead of something you had to find on your own."  He let his hand rest on her shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze of support and fondness.

"They put you through some shit, that nobody should ever have to go through.  They tried to break you, make you subservient and obedient and unquestioning...and even though you were there without anyone for support, you still found a way to rise above it.  And that's a strength you would never have had to find if you'd grown up the way Shade did."

He leaned back, letting her sleep, as he settled into the lounge and let his head tilt back, so he could look up through the trees and into the night sky.  "It's a damned shame that neither of you got a chance to be children, though.  But, truth be told, I don't know where the war would be if you had.  You wouldn't have saved Vera by taking command of the ship.  Shade couldn't have been selected as the ambassador for Vera and later Uden, when it became apparent that they were not on the same side.  That would have left Adem and Evert with positions on the Delta Fleet Board and the APF...and we can only guess where that would have led us."

He lapsed into silence, letting her sleep for a while undisturbed, until he felt himself starting to drift...at that point, he got up and lifted her, carrying her back inside, until he found someone who could tell him where her quarters were.  He got one of the palace attendants to pull back the covers on her bed, so he could lay her down and pull a sheet up over her, pausing a moment to rest a hand on her head gently in a moment of benediction.

Then he got up, gesturing for the attendant to follow him out quietly, and then got directions to his own quarters.

 Sam relaxed as the driver brought them to the Palace, she was exhausted but very happy, if she didn't have to be ready and presentable by noon, she would have stayed much longer but it was already early.

 When they got there Sam got out and talked to the driver to have someone on call in case Madison used the number. Sam smiled at everyone and Headed into the Palace VIP entrance.

" That was awesome ladies thank you for a fun time see you later today I have a meeting at noon but will be free after." Sam gave Izzy, Lizzy and NA-CE a hug before she went to her own room.

 Sam got to her room she was exhausted but they had an amazing day and she actually won herself a prize at the carnival. Sam got undressed put on a silky white night dress and crawled into bed, she was asleep before her head fully rested into her pillow.

 NA-CE enjoyed herself immensely, and this was something she wanted to do again. She did feel bad about leaving Maison, but she would be fine, and she was having fun. NA-CE was tired it had been a long, fun, eventful day and night, one thing for sure Burians and Humans knew how to have fun.

 NA-CE got out when they arrived at the Burian Palace, it was nice to have good connections to Bura with Sam with them. NA-CE wasn't exactly sure what Sam's job was in the Burian Fleet, but she knew it was communications and tech orientated she did pick that up.

 NA-CE hugged Sam and then Izzy and Lizzy who seemed very close and of course NA-CE had no problem with that, they were both very beautiful for humans. " I had a great time thank you everyone, and yes see you all later today." With that NA-CE made her way to her VIP guest room.

 Once NA-CE got to her amazing room, she made quick work of getting out of her fancy Angel dress and carefully stored it and then went right to sleep, she didn't have to be up at any time so she would sleep until she awoke unless she was comm'd which she had close to her.

 Lizzy held Izzy's hand as they drove back to the Palace the Burian Fire Fruit drink she finished right before they left was kicking in and it was going to be a fun night for sure.

 When they arrived everyone got out, Lizzy took Izzy's hand and helped her out of the car. They all hugged and then Sam and NA-CE headed for their rooms. Lizzy said ," Yes that was amazing, I had a great time and I hope we can spend more time with you NA-CE. Thank you again Sam that was amazing."

 Lizzy smiled and then led Izzy by the hand to their VIP guest room. Once in the room, Lizzy smiled and then carefully put her dress away, then kicked off her shoes, and stood there in her sexy red mesh see through lingerie set. Lizzy then went to a box she had in her packed stuff, she placed next to the bed and then said to Izzy," That was amazing and we had a great time, now for the cherry on top of a great day."

 Lizzy waited for Izzy to get ready for bed and then she slowly took off her bra and panties and dragged Izzy into the very large, amazing, comfortable bed. Izzy and Lizzy would have a wild, exciting, fun and very pleasurable evening together, and they opened the box of goodies and used almost all of them as well. It was dawn before they slowed down and finally passed out in each other's arms.

  In the Morning , Dusk was   up, she was  dressed in her    Undenese/Delta Fleet uniform. she sat in a hallway chair  outside  Roy's room.  to go to Breakfast.

  other people were  passing her, she  would   nod  and wave off  salutes.

 Val was up  , and coming out of the Shower. She  got a text from Shadow, that he was bringing the  Boys an Mila  Up the  Palace to get cleaned up.

  reaching the  Palace,  Shadow got  a Hermes  officer's  suite.. he took the   boys and Mila  in. He texted  henry..

  I got the Boys   and Mila   at My suite in the Hermes  section  They are getting showers I sent   a runner to get them Clothes... whenever you're, let me know  and we'll meet you in the  Dinning hall...

 the  Boys  finished  up,  and  Shadow  went in cleaned up   and got  dressed in a Duty uniform,  they waited   in the room, Can and Roll taking turns with Cans   Vid game.

Dusk didn't wait long.  Roy was up early, out of habit...lacking any orders to the contrary, he opted for a duty uniform that displayed ribbons for the various commendations and awards he'd received.  He hated that it was true, but sometimes a chest full of commendations carried a lot more weight in a counsel meeting than good advice...and he hoped to provide both.  At the very least, if anyone decided to get argumentative, seeing the number and variety of awards would give them pause.

"How'd you sleep?" he asked Dusk, with a greeting smile, as he stepped out of his quarters.

  She   smiled a bit embarrassed,.. it is not a way to be the most interesting prson, to spend  time  with, if i  fall asleep when we ahve  time to spend!

 right now , I am eager  to  see what  foods to eat!

Despite how early it was, they weren’t the only ones up and about in the palace with many other people in the process of acquiring rooms for the night or getting something to eat from the kitchens. After arranging for somewhere to sleep from weary green angel in palace livery Tarja would find a small lounge area with a bar ordering herself a vodka before taking a seat on a plush couch beckoning for Andruss to join her and the cuddly Nuska next to her ”come, we have drink together before bed…I need to unwind a little else I won’t sleep” she said, stretching and momentarily pulling the fabric of her blouse tight against her before settling back into the cushions ”thank you for taking me out Andruss, I had a lot of fun tonight it has been a long time since I was last able to just have fun like that” she quietly said, sipping her drink and relaxing, curious to see how Andruss would use the time he had left.

  Andruss nodded as he   had   a burian beer.yeah> it was alot of fun.  if you don't have big plans? maybe  we  could check out the  City?.. Recall is at 10:00PM planet  time.

Henry woke up, stertched luxuriously and rolled over to find himself on his own.

Val was coming out of the shower, dressed only in her com. Very fetching! He feasted his eyes then rolled out of bed, passed her a towel, and went to take a shower himself.

"What should I wear for this meeting, dear? You have a better handle on such things than I?"

Sometime around 11:30 AM, a car rolled up to the palace. Madison got out on unsteady feet, smoothing her dress and looking up at the building exterior. She realized she should have sent a communication to Sam or NA-CE earlier, but she had other things on her mind... what little mind she had. Pulling out her comm, she typed out a message.

I'm back. I'm safe.

It was a hell of a night. Madison tried to make it last as long as possible, but when the sun came up, there wasn't any night left to prolong. Using the car glass as a mirror, she wiped away some smudged makeup, then turned towards the palace and collapsed when she tried to walk. The driver, ran around to help her up, but there was no way she was getting to her room under her own power. A moment later a guard came running over to carry her.

Madison felt herself being lifted and carried in a cradle. It was a fun ride while it lasted, but just a few minutes later the guard got her to her room and tossed her on the bed, then locking the door after leaving. She tried to stand, but fell asleep instead.

 Val says 'dress for the meeting'...Afte breakfast, I will take   Can to  the lake, and he  can play with the Largs  until your meeting is done

  Adam   sent  Henry a Text saying he would meet him in the Dining hall.. he  got the boys and   Mila  Moving  as  they  went to  the  hall to get food., He keep checking the Time on his COM.

  Dusk and Roy  entered  from the VIP  area, , with  Dusk  checking out 'dippy eggs' and toast.. with bacon-ish things and  some   ham-ish things.

Izzy would spend most of the ride back to the palace trying to keep her hands off of Lizzy as the fire fruit took effect with her instead contenting herself with resting her head on Lizzy’s shoulder and holding her hand in the back of the car.

Upon their arrival at the palace Izzy would give Sam and NA-CE a hug ”I’ll see you girls in the morning, maybe we could hang out sometime tomorrow” she said before taking Lizzy’s hand and walking with her to their suite.

As soon as the door to their suite had closed Izzy would lean up to give passionately kiss her wife to be before removing her dress and draping it over the back of a chair so it wouldn’t get creased with her then leaping into Lizzy’s arms and wrapping her legs about her waist so she could carry her into the bedroom where Lizzy’s toybox was waiting for them.

Izzy awoke the following morning in a tangle of limbs and her head resting on Lizzy’s shoulder with the pair of them having collapsed like that in exhaustion after having spent much of the early morning enjoying themselves ”hey you, I was thinking of running a bath, it’s not quite a shower and coffee but you know…” Izzy murmured softly into Lizzy’s ear as she gently caressed her cheek with a smile on her face.

With Andruss joining her on the couch she would listen as he tentatively suggested spending a little time together in the city or possibly even the fair as there were rides they hadn’t had time to go on this evening ”Sure could be fun…though I would like to spend some time in countryside, it’s not everyday we get to visit friendly planet” she replied as she sipped her drink with her going on to ask ”So is there anything in particular you would like to see or do?” with her leaning a little closer to him ”…is your shore leave too you know, so if there is something you are wanting to do then just say”

 Lizzy woke up in the morning and smiled at Izzy, she smiled and replied," Oh that sounds divine, see if they have Burian bath salts or Burian bubble bath." Lizzy giggled and headed to the small kitchen they had and began to make what they called Burian coffee. " Let me know when the tub is ready."

 Andruss   smiled a  bit,I ..don't know>...if i go on shore leave, it  normally with shipmates who are trying to  see hpow  fast they can get drunk, with how little creds?

Looking  at Tarja  he said,walking around the trees  , without being   lock in  2 tones of metal, would be  a nice...  he  sorta  leaned  closer  and  attempted to try a kiss

 NA-CE awoke in time for breakfast in the Main Hall she was told. She took a shower and dressed in a normal duty uniform, carried her Angel steel dagger, and her Angel steel pulse sidearm with her. She also had her medical bag she didnt like to go nowhere without it.

 NA-CE walked into the Hall and went and got her food, she entered just as Captain Si was walking in front of her, She smiled and said," Captain Si it is an Honor to meet an Honorable Paradise Angel Ma'am." She had all her Angel medals and she also saw the Blue Moon Angel Special Forces Patch on her uniform. NA-CE did stop and give an Angel bow of respect and Honor.

 Sam had awoken early; she also saw a note that was slid under her door. The Note said from the Burian Three, " Lt. Robertson please wear your Burian APF/ESN Dress Uniform that is in your closet already with all your medals. Sam showered then but on her spiffy Green and Blue Uniform it looked very good on her small frame and her silvery white hair.

 When she was all set she headed down to the Hall for breakfast, she brought the Note in case anyone asked why she was in full dress uniform.  Sam walked in and went for the food line and got a plate she was already in line when the Board entered.

 captain Si Turned  and  smiled,Good Morning , NA-CE. How   did y9ou enjoy  Bura?. It is good to grab as much enjoyment here as you are able, we are only here  because  of the incident with the Sol System. Otherwise  we  would have been Pounding Vampra intp a asteroid belt.

 NA-CE smiled and replied," I had a great time at the Festival they had, and Lt. Robertson was our for the group I went with, Ens. Sakura., Ens. O'Conner, and Ens. Perry. We all won prizes, then we went out dancing." When Captain Si mentioned pounding Vampra she looked depressed, and added, " Oh Captain I do wish we were on our way to do that, the Vamprics have no reason to keep alive, they should always be eliminated Ma'am."

 NA-CE bowed again and looked for a place to sit.

Roy grinned and nodded as Dusk expressed interest in breakfast.  As they walked, he responded, "Yesterday was a long day.  If you've never been to one...or even if you've been to them, but it's been a long time...a fair or carnival is a lot to process.  All the lights, the constant noise, all the people moving around...that's a lot for a brain to process.  And unless Udenese are COMPLETELY different from Humans, mental stress is often more exhausting than physical stress."

He was silent for half a beat, before he chuckled and added, "Besides, it's not every day I have a lovely young lady fall asleep against me.  It's kind of an honor...knowing that you feel comfortable enough to relax enough to sleep.  And it's relaxing in its own kind of way."

And, at that point, they were in the dining area, and engulfed by the sight and smell of a myriad of breakfast options.  Roy opted for scrambled eggs, with something that vaguely resembled peach slices with cream poured over them, and a fruit juice, along with several slices of toast and a pile of the local 'bacon'.  It would have been a pretty light breakfast...except he got double portions of everything (triple, of the bacon.)

 As they  sat down, she  dipped  some of her  bread into the 'dippy egg'..Father  always makes the  egs  you have there, at the Condo?  I like these  eggs  better?  and  the  Bacon thing is goo..Shade likes the bacon thing...

  Shadow  came in,wearing Duty unifrom  and had two  cleaned up  boys with hi, as well as a eager Mila.. he waved to Dusk and   Roy, then set to letting the boys pick out  food, He  asked   for  a bowl of scramble eggs with Bacon  for Mila, and a water  Bowl.

 Steeing things up, for when henry and Val arrived.

Roy chuckled.  "Scrambled eggs are easy to prepare.  Those," and he gestured to her plate with a slice of toast in one hand, "take patience and care to cook, and I just never had the patience for them.  So I got used to these."  He grinned as he scooped up some of the eggs and set them on the toast, before biting off the whole section.

"And after so many years of eating field rations, ANY fresh eggs are a delight."

He nodded as he spied Shadow coming in, grinning at the two boys in tow.  "You know...you never got a chance to be a child, but your father never really got a chance to be a father, either.  Lots of experiences missing on both sides.  It's good to see you all getting a little taste of what you missed."

He gestured for Shadow to come on over and have a seat with them.

  The Boys   and Shadow came over,  Mila's  Bowls  in  one  arm, and Shadows  plate in another. the  boys   sat at the end of the  table  with Mila's  Bowl, just under the edge  so  passerbys  wouldn't kick it,

 once they were set, Shadow  sat  near  Dusk, he  had toast, bacon and scrambled  eggs...  a servant  brought over his  coffee. After the  servant left Shadow leaned in and said softly,I tried to  tip her  when we cane  in> she got offended?

Do they not work for the council of Three? Would you want tipped for  flying   your fighter?

 Shadow sat back and thought about that... Dusk held up her hand,..never mind, Father. Forget that i sid that...

 The Boys waved   at Roy and Dusk.

   Shadow  looked at his COM  again,closing in on 7:30.. meeting is  at 11:00 until  12.. I promised    Disna  and Puskie i would  spell them so they could go to the faire and stuff. I want to fly to that Village that like  me too, before  we leave. What are you guys doing  after  the Meeting?

 Other   folks were  slowly  entering the Dinning area,  some looked chiper, someloked a bit worn out.

 Sam had gotten her food and sat one table over from the board. She got some Burian eggs, Burian version of potatoes some were green, and sausage and bacon.  She got a good amount of food for a woman of her size, the one that could eat was Lizzy she ae so much and stayed in such good shape.

 Sam hadn't seen Izzy or Lizzy yet she didn't think they would be up till after the meeting anyways, she giggled. Sam was all smiles a little nervous she was asked to go in her spiffiest Dress Uniform they could have given her to wear, something was up that was for sure but what was it Sam thought.

 Sam began to eat as others sat down around her.

Mila was looking around with interest, even whilst her nose was twitching at the heavenly smell of bacon.

Then Her Human came through the door and even bacon paled into insignificance. She scampered through the hall, somehow managing to avoid banging into anyone, and skidded to a halt, wagging her tail furiously.

There was an understanding nod as Andruss explained how he usually spent shore leave, having done so herself on previous occasions when she was younger and getting drunk had sounded like a good idea. Though he would go on to say that he liked the idea of spending some time walking in the trees out of armour ”it is nice, is nice and rel…” the kiss would take her by surprise, cutting off what she had been about to say. Admittedly the kiss had been a little clumsy with it catching her somewhere between her cheek and lips, however seeing as she had been waiting for him to kiss her for most of the night she didn’t object to him doing so ”oh! ok…we…um…try again yes?” Tarja softly asked feeling her cheeks growing warm as she slowly put her arms around him in and kissed him.

Leaning back into a comfortable position on the couch she would continue to kiss him as she enjoyed the moment, doubting that things would go any further tonight with her simply happy to have a little fun before bed.

”ok see you soon beautiful” Izzy softly replied as leaned in to give Lizzy a kiss before rolling out of the gloriously large bed and walking into the bathroom with an obvious sway in her step, with an evening with Lizzy always working wonders for her mood and making her feel very girly.

Decorated with marble tiles and polished brass fittings, the bathroom was the height of decadence, or at least it was to Izzy’s untrained eye. With her having gone from her parents cramped and poorly maintained apartment, to a university dorm and then on to numerous military quarters with the large tub looking to be almost as large as their en-suite back on the Hermes.

After setting the bath running for a few minutes with a selection of bath salts and an unsurprisingly green bubble bath, Izzy would lay out a pair of large fluffy white towels before climbing into the tub and sinking beneath the water with an audible sigh ”Babe the bath is ready! Come and join me, it’s heavenly!” She called into the next room as she laid back and started to relax.

 Lizzy smiled as the coffee was ready too, she brought a tray with two cups of black coffee. Lizzy was naked, she put the tray down, then slid into the large tub with Izzy and gave her big kiss as they relax and drink coffee in a Burian bubble bath, what a shore leave. " I am here Izzy did you miss me." She said after she slid into the tub.

 Lizzy had no plans, she knew Sam had the meeting at 11, it was still early. Lizzy then said," I think they are serving breakfast in the Hall Sam said, do you want to go or see if they will bring some up and we can relax in the bubble bath till Sam is out of her meeting at least.

Henry took a knee to make a fuss of the excited dog.

"Come on, where's everyone else?"

Mila led him to the table and he was reunited with Can, who proudly showed him the game he had one.

"Excellent work. Now, where's this bacon Mila is telling me about?"

Izzy would watch as a naked Lizzy walked into the bathroom and set down a tray with two cups of coffee beside the bath before slipping into the water, with Izzy pulling her in close as they kissed ”hmm I certainly did” she murmured as she held Lizzy close and nuzzled the side of her neck, chuckling throatily at the question of breakfast ”hmm room service definitely, I don’t want you getting dressed just yet” she whispered playfully nipping the lobe of Lizzy’s ear. The way she saw it this was like an early honeymoon and she wanted to make the most of it, after all it wasn’t every shore leave they got a VIP suite in a palace to themselves with no training or duties to pull them away.

She would kiss Lizzy a few more times before repositioning herself slightly so they could retrieve their coffee and drink it within the bath, enjoying the unique flavour of the Burian blend ”so…Maddy knows how to party…were we thinking of asking her to be a bridesmaid?” Izzy asked deciding that she wanted her and NA-CE at the wedding as guests at the very least.

 Andruss  was more then suprised, and a bit , happy, if not  embarrassed  by his  first attempt.

 Well..Lets go find our rooms?, then we can meet  in the morning     for   the morning meal?

   Shadow  was  near the  SM and Dusk..Shade was a  table over with Maria and Scarlet. He could see the Buffet-ish  area  where the foods were  sorted out, as  workers replenished them

    Shadow  saw the boys  turn their attention to henry and Val as they sat  down  and began to eat.

 Shadow  smiled a Bit. and asked Dusk,well... the Boys  slept  on a pile of tents  with blankets.  I  did about the same near the static field.. Largs all over the  place..Mila  with the Boys  and a  dozing  Nuska  next to me and Larry. What did you guys  do?

   Dusk   said  as she  at  some bacon, dipped in the dippy egg.we came back and  had  some late food  and  then some drink and then i fell asleep  on Roy..

 Shadow had a  fork full of eggs half way to his   mouth, his eyes shifted from Roy to Dusk.ahh..well?  I mean..that..um.. as good a way....to um..spend  shore leave...

Roy snorted softly at Dusk's explanation of their activity after they'd left Shadow and the boys at the Big Ugly...then snorted more audibly at the look Shadow gave him.  "You know me, Shadow...the only time I carry on an exciting conversation is when I'm giving orders or breathing fire at some slack-a...er recruit or transfer.  The view of the night sky from the palace balconies is pretty relaxing, even by my standards."  He wasn't going to embarrass Dusk by making a fuss about denying anything had happened...but he also wasn't going to let Shadow wonder what his daughter had been up to.

"As for plans...I never plan my shoreleave.  I may--occasionally--have specific errands that I need to take care of sometime during shoreleave, but there have been way too many times where some unexpected task was shoved my direction.  I don't fly, but if I did, I would definitely be a seat-of-the-pants kind of flyer."  He grinned at Shadow.

"That said, if nobody has any specific need for me to handle something prior to recall, I'd be happy to fly out to the village with you."

   There was a bit of a chuckle, well? we'll see what happens  after the   meeting thing.  I'll get Sam, or  'The Third' to make sure  we have  a shuttle. Of Course that all goes away if  The Admniral looked under a Rock and  want's us to clean something  up.

 I would like to see that Village again. Last time i I was there, we had the  survival run. They are very nice  people. Dusk  added.

 The whole planet is  'nice people'. You have to search long and hard to find a pure blood Burian that joined the EDT. If anyone    'green' is  with the bad guys, they are  a transplant, or  half Burian from some off world  Race.

 Lyri came over, looking in a pretty good  mood.She was dressed as Roy, and, though she looked good, one could tell she rather be dressed in off duty uniform, or even Civies.

  Last Night  went  well   4 fights  at the FAire... 7 at the  Airfield  and 20 something in the City? almost all involved  intersectional  rivalries  " Fling Fur"  and 'Scratch" had  most fights, vying  for whose  ship was the best..all that kinda  thing.. Inter-fleet fights popped up all over, the other threes section  reported  the same...Burians  are pretty stoic? they let us handle all the punishments... most  fights that were broken up by and officer  or Non-Com , were just forgot  about... any that the Burian Shore Patrol  broke up...we sent the   parties to the Hermes...anyway?  so far so good... see you at the Meetings...

 she  continued down saying hi to others at tables Captain Si motioned for her  to come by their  table, where, she , more or less   gave the same  recap.

  Beth  came over  with her Tray and sat down.Well?  Did you know you could get inn trouble for Punching a guy out?

 yeah yeah, But if he  grabs your ass, and you punch him out, I thought it was a Thing?  You Know.. break his  nose...'casue  they don't  thing  some Little chick  will..well? break thier nose? beth sipped her  Coffee..

Dusk sighed..I have   broken  some noses.. They seem to think  we will not  break those noses?..you would wonder  why?..Father? did you ever  get you nose Broken, for  ass Grabbing?.

  Beth almost choked on her   coffee. and giggled  as she  tried to wipe the   stuff off her  lips.

  I have been slapped   alot over  my years.. Never  been  punched in the nose though for 'stray grabbing'  though.

 Beth   patted    Shadow's  arm,...Your  Father seems to be a  dense at times. Most times he is  slapped , its because he didn't Grab someone!

 Beth   laughed this  time at the Look on Dusk and Shadow's  face... Shadow  giving he at intolerant stare, and Dusk looking between her  and Roy  in confusion...

 I need to understand this more? There are  times to break a nose , for not being grabbed..? Dusk asked, perplexed.

 Shadow  hung his head  and gave it a shake..  Beth  started laughing harder.

The pair of them would lay on the couch and kiss for a while, with Tarja enjoying the feel of his fingers in her hair, before a smiling Andruss pulled away from her and suggested they go to their rooms and meet up for breakfast next morning. Tarja for her part would smile and nod, sitting up on the couch to rearrange her blouse and finish her drink in a single mouthful ”Ok let’s go” she said getting up and offering her hand to him.

After walking the corridors they would find her room first with her using the keycard to open the door before turning back to Andruss “Thank you for taking me out Andruss, I had a lot of fun tonight” she said with a twinkle in her eye saying she wasn’t just talking about the fair. It was then that she would lean in to give him another kiss before stepping back into her room with a smile. Part of her wanting to pull him into the room with her and spend the night with him, but he was a sweet guy and she didn’t want to rush him. Instead she would give him a finger wave as she said goodnight and promised to meet him for breakfast and closed the door.

After getting undressed and taking care of a few things she had climbed into the surprisingly large bunk and gone to sleep where apart from the usual nightmares that caused her to wake up screaming and reaching for a gun that wasn’t there she would have a good night.

Awakening a little later than usual Tarja would climb out of bed, take off the man’s T-shirt she usually slept in and took a long shower, taking the extra time afforded to her by shore leave to savour the warm water and scented soaps and shampoos provided before drying herself off and getting dressed. With her opting for a black Nightwish T-shirt with a rose on it, a pair of blue jeans, a flannel shirt and walking boots. She had been just about to to put her hair up into it’s usual bun only to let it drop loose, suspecting that Andruss would prefer it that way, although the idea changing how she looked for a man did make her feel a little embarrassed.

Fully dressed and with her day bag packed and ready to return to the Hermes, Tarja would head for the breakfast hall to get something to eat and more importantly to meet Andruss.

 Lizzy was enjoying herself relaxing in the wonderful tub. " Yes Madison can party if she is not careful she could get out of control, I bet she isnt even back yet. I hope she doesnt come back too drunk Burians really hate behavior unbecoming an Officer, Sam might get in trouble, hopefully Madison is smart about her partying.

 Lizzy giggled at Izzy when she said room service, Lizzy grabbed her Comm and handed it to her," Your idea you get to order." Lizzy giggled then nibbled on Izzy's neck and ear as she went to call for room service.

 Sam seemed deep in thought, she didnt see too many others in dress uniform, she wondered what was going on. Sam decided hopefully it was good and she couldn't do anything about it anyway so just go with it for now.

 She finished her meal and then took a few minutes to look at the Hermes people and others enjoying her HOMELAND'S hospitality. It really felt good for Sam to finally have a place she could call a real home and the Burians were amazing.

 When she was finished she took care of her trash and tray. Sam then headed for the conference to get set up for the meeting and do her job unless it wasnt her job anymore.

 NA-CE took a seat not to far from the LC, SM, Dusk and Shade. She was new so she sat, ate but she listened not to ease drop but to gather information on her new crew.

Doing her best to suppress the giggling as Lizzy nibbled her neck Izzy would dial the number for the palace kitchens in order to get some breakfast sent up to them ”Hi, yeah we’d like to order some room service please, we’re in the Princess Suite…yes, we’re Lt Robertson’s friends…Breakfast for two would be lovely, thank you…yes twenty minutes will be fine, ok goodbye” Izzy cheerfully spoke in between giggles before hanging up the call and kissing Lizzy ”Breakfast will be up in around twenty minutes babe…hmm whatever will we do in that time?”

 Lizzy smiled as she kissed Izzy while she was on the phone, when she was off. Lizzy responded," Awesome breakfast for to sounds good, now this is the life. Hmm what will we do for 20 minutes."

 Lizzy then made sure Izzy wasnt drinking coffee, then gave her a tickle attack and Lizzy and Izzy have fun for about 15 to 20 minutes. Lizzy saw the time and knew how punctual the Burians where, she gave Izzy a kiss, then climbed out of the tub hitting Izzy with some softer body parts.

 Lizzy dried off some then threw on a gorgeous robe they supplied, and headed for the door. Just as she got there the bell rank and it was room service.

 Lizzy went and got a 20 cred chip slid it into the Burians hand and said," Thank you very much I got it from here."  Lizzy smiled and the nice Burian left with his tip.

 Lizzy then locked the door took of her robe, then picked up the tray. Lizzy walked into the bathroom naked with a fresh pot of coffee and their breakfast for two.

With the aroma of breakfast reaching her long before she arrived, Tarja would enter the breakfast hall and look about the room for any sign of Andruss. Although she wouldn't spot him, with her assuming that he hadn't arrived yet, she would see NA- CE sitting by herself once again with her deciding to walk over and say hello whilst she waited for Andruss "Hi NA-CE, how was your shore leave yesterday?" she asked the Angel woman, with her having not seen her since they're meeting on the rec dec the other day.

 Andruss   arrived    5 or so minutes  after  Tarja. he  stepped into the  Hall and  off to the side  as he looked to see if he could see her.

 he noticed her  talking to a new  Angel Woman, he   decided to wait until  she either finished, or sat  down by the Angel.

 Some people     grabbed  malls   meals and.or  coffee..other s, bigger  nmeals and drinks.. Some folks were already leaving

Roy rolled his eyes at both Beth and Shadow, once again taking up the role of interpreter for Dusk.  "There are certain...physical cues, that a Human woman, and females of many other races, for that matter, give when they wish to attract the attention of a specific male."  He grimaced slightly, and added, "Human males, at least, tend to be slow at picking up on those cues, and some women can be rather aggressive about presenting them.  If the cues aren't acknowledged and acted upon as desired, those women often interpret it as some kind of personal insult...and being inclined to aggressive presentations, they'll resort to hitting the man that isn't giving them the attention they were seeking."

He shook his head slightly, and continued, "I wouldn't worry about trying to understand it...more often than not, all it does is further confuse the man and make him even less likely to respond to any sort of future enticements...and the kinds of men who have favorable responses to getting slapped are usually the kind of men that you're better off avoiding in the first place."  He shot a sidelong glance at Beth as he explained, "But, some women are slow to recognize that, as well.  Human social interactions can be ridiculously convoluted...I'd recommend just sticking with a straight-forward approach.  People don't do it very often, but if it's what you're naturally inclined to, it's better because the kind of people who will react well to it are the kind of people that will create good mutual understanding.  Having people who are making you constantly second-guess yourself is a recipe for stress and frustration, and we already have enough of that thanks to the Empire and its allies."

 NA-CE smiled at Tarja and replied," Hello Tarja, good to see you. Mine was great spent the day with a group of wonderful ladies to the Festival. Then we went out dancing and drinking it was fun. How was your day, please you can have a seat."

When invited to sit, Tarja would take the seat opposite NA-CE before replying ”I was on date yesterday with nice boy from mech unit; Andruss, he took me out for dinner then we went to fair, it was lots of fun…I’m supposed to be meeting him for breakfast” she said looking to around once again to see if he had arrived yet.

Spotting him standing off to one side of the main doors, she would raise her arm over her head and wave to get his attention and get him to come over and join them. With Andruss hopefully coming over to join them Tarja would drop her voice as she spoke to NA-CE ”I am somewhat older than he is I think, but he is cute and acts like the gentleman so I will see where things are going” she explained, making it clear that the young man was her date from last night ”So you are meeting lady friends for breakfast, yes?” she then asked, with it looking the Angel woman had made better in roads on making friends than she currently had.

  Andruss   puts  a  hand  up  half  way  and waves   with a bit of a  Smile  and  Almost Runs  into  Captain Morris  , as the Captain was leaving..  he stood  at Attention, but the older , Black Man   just   smiled and gave him a  pat on the shoulder, and  continued  walking.

  Reaching the table Andruss  looked  embarrassed..gods!  I almost ran into the Adjutant !

 then he looked over to the  wall were people were coming , going or waiting as they selected  food.

 When Andruss came over she smiled and said," Yes it is what they call buffet style food I believe. It is very good and may I ask why is everyone seem to be making fun of the green eggs and green ham, is there something I am missing?"

I am afraid they  are Kidnaping people...women?..They...they  weren't nice...

With one hand tangled within Lizzy’s hair and the other wandering across her body as her beautiful redhead nibbled her ear in a highly enjoyable way, Izzy would curse Burian punctuality as there was a polite knock at the door and Lizzy, wearing a rather fetching robe, went to answer it. Whilst Lizzy was away, Izzy would lay back and enjoy the bath for a little longer as she ran through the things she wanted to try and find engagement ring, bridesmaid dresses, bouquet, maybe something for the wedding night…. before Lizzy, now out of her robe returned with their breakfast ”now this is service I could get used to…do you want to eat in here or shall we take it into the other room?” she asked with a smile as she admired Lizzy, unsure if eating in the bath would be a good idea.

 Lizzy gggled and replied," Oh no I was just showing what we got, you need to get your sexy cute ass out here and we can eat. Then we can rewarm the tub and have some more fun until the meeting is over then we need to go shopping my love."

 Lizzy then picked up the try now with their coffee cups and coffee pot and carried it away shaking her ass at Izzy as she went naked into the other room and sat naked at the table.

There was a bit of an embarrassed look at the mention of age with Tarja replying ”true…but it is little different for humans, I think” before chuckling as NA-CE promised to kill him if he misbehaved, Happy to have her in her corner.

Looking up as Andruss approached she would nod in understanding as he pointed out the buffet ”yes, I saw….I was saying hello to NA-CE, NA-CE this is Andruss, Andruss this is NA-CE, she is corpsman we came on Hermes together” she said making the introductions before NA-CE asked about the green eggs and ham, with Tarja chuckling as Andruss proceeded to quote Dr. Seuss ”Very good! Shall we get breakfast now? It smells very good” she then asked, getting up in order to go and join the queue.

 NA-CE smiled and replied to Andruss," Oh I understand now a little better, not used to your food being colorful, got it." NA-CE smiled she knew human culture was much different from Blue Moon Angel culture, human culture was interesting, chaotic and had a unique flare she rather enjoyed.

 NA-CE smiled and said," I will be here when you get back I might go up for ore as well."

  Andruss  had to have the green eggs  and ham, and  toasted bread to go with it, he  got a bottle of ..what looked like..Orange Juice.

 Morgan frowned..all this   found, You would think they would have  Galaxy Cruch..or   Hemy Comets?... don't they  eat cold   cereal ? He  proceeded to get what loked  like
 Potatoe  pancakes , with ketchup and Muffins with  some kind  of red Jelly and Butter. He
  took a  Big Glass of chocolate Milk.

Roy's face hardened.  "I don't care who or what they are...someone dicks around with my crew and I take it personally.  Yeah, we should have a heart-to-heart with these assholes...and maybe a boot-to-ass and knee-to-groin, as well..."

It was good that he'd eaten so much already, because the news put a damper on his appetite.  Regardless of who it was, they were all hypothetically on the same side, and if it was an attempt at kidnapping, that ran counter to the whole principle.  If it was something more personal, well...he'd had long and very excruciating discussions with people on Fuji about the concept of not assaulting someone on your own side.  He wasn't quite as versed in Sanri physiology...but he was certainly ready to revisit the subject matter and hand down another lesson.

He looked at Shadow.  "We need to make sure at least one of them can talk after we're done.  The lesson will be much more constructive if there's absolutely no speculation about who gave it and why."

   Taking the last bite of his pastry, Shadow  said,I have  never met a Sanri who is stupid. I have  killed a couple  who are Highly arrogant , They think  they are the finest species in  The Black. When we  were here  before, I had encounters with onem who thought it was a lie that I killed two of them, by myself during a Delta  Night..Muska,The Apefolk Captain, Saved  me from getting hurt and saved two Sanri from getting dead. Right there in front of everyone?

 But that was  an ESN  Sanri. Not a merc Sanri That  is already   doing  bad stuff? I must assume there is no honor  in  them. Again? Roles  says anything we  do is fine with him. If it goes  further, he'll clean house, you can count on it.   

 Mara  comes  over, she is  more in control of herself. Flores is with her.he said   he will meet  us at 8:00PM, the sun will be down by then and the Faire  will cover   the meeting.

”ok let me dry off, and yeah shopping is a must” Izzy said as she got out of the bath dried herself off with one of the fluffy white towels she had previously laid out.

Walking into the next room she would find Lizzy sat waiting for her at the table with the tray of food and a fresh pot of coffee. Still completely naked Izzy would take a seat opposite Lizzy and pour herself a cup of coffee before picking up her knife and fork  and beginning on her breakfast of green eggs and bacon, Burian sausages, hash browns and toast. With her hunger momentarily distracting her from Lizzy’s naked loveliness, Izzy would eat her breakfast for several minutes, savouring the flavours, before speaking ”So Liz I was thinking that maybe we could try and find a dressmaker and get bridesmaid dresses sorted, Sam’s the same size as me so we’d only need sizes for Nikki…unless you wanted any other bridesmaids?” she asked, having considered asking Maddy but ultimately it would be up to Lizzy to decide who she wanted in her wedding party.

Walking down line of brat pans filled with exotically coloured food, Tarja would get a plate of bacon and eggs, both green, a pair of the local sausages, also green, some kind of hash made from what she hoped were potatoes, a piece of toast and a green fruit juice, because why ruin the colour scheme by choosing something else. Joining Andruss at the end of the line with her breakfast she would speak to him in a quiet voice ”you do not mind us sitting with NA-CE? She is nice and I don’t know many people yet” she asked not wanting to make him feel uncomfortable as the pair of them started walking back towards the tables. Then again he had said he didn’t know many people himself…

  Andruss   shook his head,no?  I don't mind, it wasn't that long ago i was a  'new guy"...

  when they  sat down, he   smiled and said,I know there is  only  a tiny chance that this is  'earth' Pigs and  veggies and stuff, but  it smells and taste  just like  Earth stuff..so it doesn't matter!

There was a brief look of relief when Andruss agreed to sit with NA-CE with Tarja quite liking the Angel. Taking a seat back on NA-CE’s table she would nod in agreement with his assessment that the food was most likely not from Earth, however as she was digging into her bacon she had to admit that for military faire that the food was very good ”is good…then again most things good compared to C-Rats in muddy hole” she replied, struggling to take in the luxurious surroundings ”I’m new…this…this is not usual right?” she continued, clearly wondering what kind of outfit she had joined.

”so ladies you were with, they were medics too, yes?” she said turning to NA-CE in order to resume the conversation where it had left off.

 Andruss    just  waved a  fork as he  answered, Bura  likes theFleet, espeiclly , The Hermes. I guys  , back in the day, they helped  Bura out   alot...and  The LC's  fighter chose to stay here..she was killed by a traitor though?.. LC  Killed him back.

 any way,  The hermes gets to   have   Palace  stuff, if they want it.... on Carrier stations,  we  can go where we  weant, But the LC lets  folks  use his Condo to crash in, not to mention the parties..... It can be  fun out here  sometimes.

 There's lots of   folks  who stayed in town, or the City, or  even the barracks  at the Airfield.  almost everyone comes up here to get the palace  east though!

 NA-CE smiled when Tarja and Andruss returned, " Welcomeback and the food is delicious no matter the color trust me." NA-CE smiled and replied," This actually reminds me of my home, I came from a very prominent Angel family. Oh Tarja two where pilots, two worked in comms, then me the med tech, I was the only non-com in the group."

 NA-ce then finished her meal and drank as she relaxed and let Tarja and Andruss eat.

 Lizzy watched as Izzy joined her at the table and said," Why get dresses we are just going back into the tub right." They then begin eating together, it was wonderful and lovely.

 Lizzy ate a lot liked she normally does and luckily Izzy did remember to order extra helpings. Lizzy smiled and then answered Izzy's question while they ate," Sure we can do that I was thinking of asking Madison but you would need to find another so we matched, thats up to you Izzy."

”Ah the special treatment” Tarja replied when Andruss explained the situation with Bura and how services past rendered had resulted in more than a little goodwill from the locals though also sounded like the crew knew how have fun too “You have parties often?…Wait you’re teasing me, yes?” she asked, albeit uncertainly. After all he hadn’t been joking about the green food, though she had to admit that it wasn’t how she imagined it would be out here.

With NA-CE speaking of home, revealing that she had come from similar surroundings before going on to say that the ladies had been Officers from various different branches of the military ”I find this…strange…I come from little village, grew up in small house surrounded by trees…I do not think I have ever been in place like this before” she said looking around the hall and it’s decor with it being a far cry from where she had grown up, with her going on to give NA-CE a bit of a surprised look ”They were all cake eaters? They treat you well, yes? No pulling of the rank?” she said having known a few officers that would have done such a thing even during shore leave.

   Andruss  tick off on his fingers...we...almost always, have  shore  leave on a Carrierstation, as the ships  load up  and  swap out transfers......Then, after a Jump off, we have a 'after party' the LC  foots the bill for, on the rec dec..we  have a salute to our dead,  had out any awards, and then party...the  next day, is the Official  send off  for our
 dead... Shore leave Parties... we have beach parties that go on around the clock, and there is a party on the roof of the Hotel  The Admiral says in..his Condo has  all the High rankers... Shadow's has   the crew,, party on the roof..and in Shadow's  Condo... and , there is the beach  things going on...of course , some folks  just run around the station and make their own fun.

 then he waves  to the   hall,and, from  what Morgan says, some places  really like us..  The Blue  Moon?  The Green Moon  and Bura. for certain

As Shadow announced his departure, Roy chimed in.  "Hey...bring Larry and Freddie back with you.  I think they'll be useful to have there tonight.  Three Sanri might be stupid enough to try something aggressive with us...I'm actually kind of hoping they do, to be honest...but it wouldn't hurt to have a pair of largs in reserve in case they decide to run, instead."  Carrying the Verian hold-out pistol wasn't exactly gentlemen's rules...but kidnapping (or worse) pretty much nullified any qualifications the Sanri could claim on being gentlemen (or whatever the Sanri equivalent term might be...)  So Roy already had a contingency plan in mind if the Sanri opted for aggression.

He turned to Dusk.  "I'm sure General Bale has some guidelines for how to deal with kidnapping...but those guidelines are generally intended for dealing with ESN personnel, with some extrapolated options for APF personnel.  EMS is technically outside those categories, being mercenaries, and I'm sure that they aren't part of Roles' crew, or they'd be smarter.  It's entirely possible that they're EDT personnel that infiltrated an EMS crew.  Either way, this isn't going to be handled as an infraction of APF rules. This is going to be handled as hostile covert action.  If they surrender peacefully, they might get a chance at an APF hearing...if they fight, I want at least one survivor to pass along word of how fast and painfully his buddies died, so anyone who's been working with them has a really good excuse to reconsider their life choices, knowing that a similar fate could rain down on them at any time."  There was no joy, not even a hint of any unholy glee, in his voice or expression.  Unlike Shadow, he didn't appear to take any pleasure out of the prospect that faced them...rather, his whole demeanor was coldly calculating and dispassionate, with overtones of controlled anger.

"And if we're really lucky, the designated survivor will spill the beans about who they've been working with and where their connections are, and we can do a little further house-cleaning while we're at it."  This was all assuming, of course, that their plan had been kidnapping.  If they had intended something more ignoble...like taking turns taking advantage of whoever they roped in...well, there were alternative punishments for that, too.  Punishments that a pair of angry largs could deliver in a uniquely indelible fashion...

With a mouthful of bacon Izzy would nod as she chewed at Lizzy’s suggestion that she asked Maddy, with Izzy having had a similar idea herself ”NA-CE would be a possible, if you didn’t mind her towering over you, after all you’re the one walking down the aisle I’m just standing up at the altar with Sam” Izzy pointed out with there not being many people to choose from their small circle of friends that hadn’t already been chosen ”Do we know what colours we’re going for on the bridesmaid dresses? Nikki’s suggestion of red, pink and silver wasn’t bad…though perhaps not altogether” she said thinking that it would be better to keep things simple especially seeing as they still didn’t know where they were getting married, with them having left things a little late for Bura.

 Lizzy was eating and ten responded," Ask whoever you wish but we need to have the same number that's all for the pairing and dancing. I believe the Admiral is walking me down the aisle and Nikki and Captain Si will be up there waiting for me as well." Lizzy giggled then she finished her breakfast.

 Lizzy smiled and replied about the color of the bridesmaid dresses," Oh yes red/silver or pink and silver not all three." Lizzy giggled, then got a glass of the Burian version of Marmosa, and said," You ready to hit the tub again my love."

As Andruss detailed the various parties the ship had and why Tarja would pause in eating her breakfast in order to give him a slightly incredulous look with her wondering if he was exaggerating things ”Really? It is wonder fleet even has time to fight war with that schedule” she replied, with it clear that things were handled differently around here.

Finishing off the last of her breakfast and leaning back in her chair to enjoy her fruit juice she would move away from the topic of parties to that of their plans ”you still interested in going to town then seeing countryside?” she asked just in case things had changed since last night.

  Andruss nodded, Yeah?  I mean, if you want me to come along?... where ever.. i only saw the city  at night, before   things 'black out'. I haven't been in the country side ,except to shoot  things.

  his eyes loked at  Tarja  , then to  NA-CE, to see, if she had  anything to do.

" Tarja they were awesome actually treated me like what did they say one of the girls. It was a very good time no time talk of rank." NA-CE smiled at the couple.

 When they talked about going to countryside together NA-CE did not want to intrude on them who knows what will happen tomorrow. She smiled at them both and got up completely fnished. " I am going back to the fair, you two have a great time together." NA-CE gave a nod to Tarja to go have fun alone with your mate look.

 NA-CE then headed out of the Palace heading for the fair, it would be fun to see it more in the day.

When Madison opened her eyes, she had no idea where she was. It was familiar but not really. Not until she sat up did she realize that se was back in her room at the Burian Palace. But how she got there, she had no idea. The last thing she remembered was leaving a private party long after the sun had risen. A lot of the night was shrouded in clouds, but she was able to string together enough clear moments to know what happened, and despite a surprisingly mild hangover, she still felt amazing for the experience.

What wasn't amazing was the way she smelled, and she just knew she probably looked even worse. But before she ran to the bathroom to get cleaned up, she needed to let the girls know she was back and safe.

To Lizzy, Izzy, NA-CE and Sam

”Red and silver sounds good, we just need to find a style that will suit Sam and Nikki” Izzy replied wanting her friends to look good too. After all Lizzy was going to outshine all of them regardless of what they wore.

Having finished her breakfast Izzy would giggle as Lizzy asked if she was ready to go back to the large bath and relax some more ”I certainly am” she said eagerly getting up and collecting her own glass of mimosa before following her into the bathroom with her eyes glued to Lizzy’s shapely behind as she went.

After re-running the water so that it was lovely and warm the pair of them would step back into the tub with Izzy cupping her beloved’s head in her hands as she straddled her in the tub ”I can’t wait to make you my wife, you’re my everything” Izzy whispered as she looked deep into her emerald green eyes ”…now where were we”

”Ah is good then, maybe someday I meet them” Tarja replied when NA-CE confirmed that the ladies she’d hung out with last night had been friendly and hadn’t treated her differently due to her rank, glad that she was making some friends other than her.

Meanwhile with Andruss asking if he was still welcome to join her today she would give him a slightly perplexed look ”I ask you, didn’t I?” clearly confused as to why he would think she didn’t want him to join her, although part of her suspected that this was one of those social niceties that she often missed ”Andruss I would enjoy your company today, I think” she added with a smile briefly touching lips. It was then that NA-CE would say that she was going to the fair and wished them a pleasant day, another social nicety, assuming she had read the look she’d been given right…at least she thought there had been a look?

”Yes, have good day NA-CE, I see you later perhaps” She said before finishing the last of her juice and turning to Andruss to see if he was ready to go “Shall we take a walk around city and see what there is, yes?”

 Andruss  smiled,I will call a car when we hget to the stand outside.,but,  we shouldn't  wait too long to see the country side?  we can be in the city at night..the wilds..are...well?  wild?

”I know, we just pick up a few things; something to eat, local map, compass, maybe binoculars, not to mention somewhere to walk” she said as she got up from the table and started walking with Andruss towards the main entrance, dropping off their now empty plates along the way ”you have boots on, yes?” she asked not wanting to inadvertently cripple him due to improper footwear.

Once outside they would get the car that Andruss had arranged for them with Tarja speaking to the driver, being sure to carefully pronounce each word correctly so he wouldn’t misunderstand with her thick accent ”Hello, can you take us to camping store…somewhere that sells outdoors stuff like the maps and compass” she asked, a little unsure if such a place existed on Bura.

Andruss  chuckled,I am a trooper? Of course i have boots! Yes, we wil get something to take  with us  , and we still need our sidearms and bootknifes.
  they go out into the fresh smelling air.. the smell of   water from the fountains, and the smell of 'green' from the trees and bushes.

 people   were  hading  back to the airfiled to  , maybe  see the town or go to the faire.

 Lizzy smiled at Izzy and relaxed holding her close. "Yes we will ask Nikki and Sam of course."

 Then they headed back into the bathroom, Izzy warmed up the tub and then they slid back in and both had their morning drink. "We were right here my love." Lizzy then kissed Izzy deeply as they relaxed and had more fun in the Burian bubble bath.

”Oh! So we were!” Izzy softly giggled as she returned Lizzy’s kiss and then gave her a few more of her own.

They would enjoy themselves in the bath until the water started to cool at which point it was quietly agreed that it was time to get out and put some, if not all of their clothes on. And so it was wearing nothing but one of the fluffy robes and a pair of white panties that Izzy would lounge on the bed with her comms unit reading her messages ”Well it seems that Maddy got back in one piece…if not at a particular sociable hour” she giggled imagining the hangover she must be suffering right now ”…would you like to see if she’s up to coffee yet? Whilst we wait for Sam?”

 When the tub finally cooled down Lizzy and Izzy got out and dried off. " Yes I am glad she did I hope she is ok she is a little out of control." Lizzy finished getting dressed in casual clothes and replied," Sure we can see what she is up too before Sam gets here."

 Lizzy got out her comm and sent Madison a comm text," Good afternoon I hope you had fun want to join Izzy and myself for coffee and lunch know I guess."

Izzy would quirk an eyebrow at Lizzy’s comment before replying with a grin ”Nah that was just someone having a good time, if I hadn’t had a better offer I would have been out there with her…besides considering what we got caught doing in public we shouldn’t judge” with her looking sheepish at that particular memory.

With Lizzy pulling the rest of her clothes on Izzy would shed the fluffy robe and change into a skirt and a black T-shirt that was now a size too small with the word Babymetal emblazoned across the chest a set of long gone tour dates on the back, with her finishing the outfit with her Burian ankle boots. She would give the boots a loving look with her wondering if she could get the cobbler to make her some heels for the wedding or even just another pair of boots before looking up at Lizzy as she typed a message ”you ready to go babe? I saw this cute little cafe just down the block that would be ideal” she said, pushing her dirty clothes back into her bag ready to be taken back to the Hermes with her then sending her own message to Sam telling her where to meet them.

 Lizzy giggled and replied," Very true Izzy, well live like it is your last day, because it could be."

 Lizzy finished getting ready, then she replied," That sounds awesome lead the way my love."

 Sam stormed into the Palace, she was upset she didnt mind Madison having fun but she was an officer and held to a higher standard especially when she was a guest of another. Still in her full dress uniform with all her medals, she got to Madison's room and hit the buzzer," Madison I am glad you are ok but we need to talk."

"Ok then let's go, I've sent Sam a message to let her know where we're headed" Izzy replied in a cheerful voice as she picked up her jacket and put it on. With the destination settled, Izzy would take Lizzy's hand and the pair of them would leave the suite and head down the stairs and out the main entrance of the palace before taking a left and heading towards where Izzy had seen the coffee shop.

When Madison got out of the shower, she saw that there was a message on her comm. Still dabbing her hair with her towel she ran over to check it. It was from Lizzy. They were going to the Cafe.

"Shit!"

Hopefully they'd still be there if she hurried to get dressed. Madison tapped out the reply:

[Hi Lizzy. I hope you're still there. Getting dressed now. Where is this exactly?]

Tossing her com onto the messy bed, Madison quickly put on a summer skirt and a tank top with a pair of sandals. Her small purse was fine for her com, id, creds and sidearm.

As she was about to leave, she heard her door buzzer. When she swung it open it was Sam.

"Hi Sam! Good morning.. or afternoon. Sorry. I haven't checked the time. You look really great in that dress uniform."

 Sam smiled at Madison and said," It is afternoon, and thank you but I came here on official business. I got an SEC report on how arrived not so long ago in a condition unbecoming an officer. Normally I would let the LC or someone else handle this but I set you up with your room, so your actions reflect on me and the ESN and Hermes. I just ask you stay in control please from now on."

"Also Izzy and Lizzy are at a nearby Cafe do you want to join them." Sam smiled, she hoped Madison understood she had too keep work and friends separate, yes she just had a talk with Madison about he behavior, but she was still her friend.

Madison almost took a step back. That was not what she was expecting to hear. Apparently a 'condition unbecoming an officer' was a thing. She certainly didn't intend to make Sam look bad, but on reflection, she understood. Of course, she didn't actually remember how she got to her room, or even arriving at the palace. The last thing she remembered was... being in the car? Maybe? Well, she did remember getting in the car.  It took her a moment to gather herself to respond.

"I'm... I'm sorry, Sam. I didn't mean to make you look bad. I, honestly... probably wasn't capable of it, I guess. I'm so sorry." She really never considered that she could get anyone, even herself in trouble for getting a little crazy on leave. It probably would have been better if she just stayed out where she was. But, maybe not... considering.

When Sam mentioned Lizzy and Izzy, Madison held up her purse. "Yeah, they commed me. I was headed there now. Are you joining?"

 Sam was happy Madison understood, and just responded," Just be a little more in control thats all I ask, just please don't do it again." Sam smiled.

" Yes Izzy comm'd me as well, lets go shall we." Sam then led the way to the Cafe.

 The car with the four ladies pulls up to the Palace VIP entrance again. Sam gets out and smiled," That was amazing ladies I had a great time. Madison thank you when we come back will you teach me to ride?" Sam waited till everyone was out of the car before she did anything else.

Madison was closest to the door after Sam. She jumped out, adjusting her skirt and top. "Of course, Sam. I'd love to teach you. You got a good start today. First get used to being on the horse, then we'll get into controlling it." She smiled, squeezed Sam's arm, then went to the back to get her bags from the trunk. As she picked them, she started wondering how all that was going to fit in her luggage

 Lizzy smiled at Izzy and just looked out at Bura as they headed back to the Palace. Lizzy got out of the car and said," Thank you so much for everything Sam, and Madison the horse riding was amazing thank you." Lizzy smiled took Izzy's hand and added," Ok we will see you on the Hermes we ae just going to get our stuff and head up." Lizzy would then head to their suite when Izzy was ready.

Lizzy would manage to take around three steps towards the entrance before Izzy pulled her away and through a small gate to the left that led into a small courtyard surrounded by raised flowerbeds and shrubs, with a pair of small round tables on the patio so that guests in the VIP suites could drink their coffee in relative privacy.

Before Lizzy, or anyone else for that matter, had much time to complain or ask why Izzy had dragged Lizzy away with no warning Izzy would drop to one knee in front of her and hold out the engagement ring with diamonds and emeralds glittering in the dying light of the day ”Elizabeth O’Conner, you’re most beautiful girl I have ever known, would you do me the honour of being my wife?” she asked, with her strangely feeling more nervous this time around than she had the first.

 Sam followed Izzy when she dragged Lizzy away and Sam got the whole thing on video comm. Sam smiled and kept recording so they would have this moment forever.

 Lizzy had no clue what was going on, Izzy pulled her into the wonderful courtyard and when Lizzy's head finally caught up, Izzy was on a knee showing her a gorgeous diamond and emerald ring. Lizzy smiled then took Izzy's hand and put the gorgeous ring on her finger and then replied," Yes I will Izzy, I would love to have you as my wife." Lizzy then pulled Izzy up gave her a huge hug and kissed her deeply and passionately.

With Lizzy accepting her proposal for the second time, Izzy would find herself being drawn into an embrace and passionate kiss which would go on for several minutes leaving Izzy slightly dazed when Lizzy finally broke it off ”ok…wow…um…if mom asks this is how I proposed to you, not the other way” Izzy said in a breathless voice. It was at this point that she would notice Sam filming the whole thing on her comms unit with her becoming suitably embarrassed by entire situation ”you will send a copy of that video won’t you?” she asked with bright pink cheeks as she stood within Lizzy’s arms.

 Lizzy giggled and replied," Of course and we have video proof now, thank you Sam." Lizzy looked at her new ring and the diamond surrounded by two emeralds, it was beautiful.  Lizzy was flying high and now it was official Lizzy had a beautiful ring, the ring was almost as beautiful as Izzy.

 Lizzy smiled and then added," Ok now we should get our stuff and head back to the Hermes. See you on the Hermes Madison and did you see the ring Izzy got me." Lizzy was beaming and had a glow about her, Lizzy was beyond happy.

 Sam smiled and when she was done filming she saved the video and then sent a copy to Izzy's and Lizzy's comms. " Already done Izzy."  Sam smiled at the love birds, gave them both a hug, then gave Madison a hug and then headed to get her gear ready to go back to the Hermes.

"I did not!" Madison hopped over to Lizzy. "Show me, show me."

The ring was amazing. "Izzy. Wow. Good job. It's so beautiful. I'm so happy for you guys."


After they had their individual plans, Madison gave everyone a huge hug then went up to her room to pack. She managed to get most everything into her original luggage. She just needed to carry one extra tote on the way back. She got a car to take her to the BU and went back up to the Hermes.

”hmm so we do…” Izzy softly purred to Lizzy before stepping out of her embrace and smiling at Sam ”Thanks Sam, I couldn’t ask for a better friend” she said, glad that she had asked the tiny blonde to be her Best Lady come Maid of Honour.

After exchanging hugs with the group of ladies and giggling as Lizzy showed off her engagement ring, they would head into the palace in order to collect their things before meeting up out front to catch a van to the airfield with Izzy’s arms filled by the giant Pegasus Lizzy had won her at the fair, with it being almost as big as she was.

With the fluffy toy earning her a few amused looks from other members of the crew they would board the transport that would take them home to the Hermes.

 Sam smiled and replied," You are very welcome Izzy, well I try thanks." Sam hugged everyone then headed to her room packed everything up and then headed to the airfield to get a BU back up to the Hermes.

 Lizzy gave hugs and then headed up with Izzy to their room to get their stuff. Lizzy packed up the new things she bought, and then carried her four armed monkey.

 They both got looks carrying their stuffed animal toys, but Izzy's was huge. They made their way to the BU's and then took one back up to the Hermes.
