Lizzy smiled and chuckled afyer Izzy said she wasn't through with Dixie yet. Lizzy loved the evil gleam, and Lizzy actually got very turned on by that.

 When Izzy responded she might let her kiss her jaw she smiled but Lizzy thought it would be better to do that either,at the Pulse or someplace more private. Lizzy did reply saying, " I would like that but not here, maybe later Izzy. Lizzy  was beaming after that.

 After Izzy explained her combat experience,  "As far as I am concerned if your getting shot at in any fashion that is combat."  Lizzy smiled pointed to her left side, and showed Izzy her new scars from her two wounds on Bura and she said,That was my first time and I wasn't prepared so I got shot so I will be prepared if they let me go again.

 Lizzy will finished her meal and drink her wine. She was having a good time even with Dixie being a bitch, and she hoped Izzy was as well. Lizzy was so glad she was here with Izzy, especially not noting when her Father would come to steal the Captain away.

   A short woman with wavy white hair was sitting in for the lead singer for the live entertainment, she started off with a favorite sailor song that set a good mood...

  The song  reminded  of the same  Song that Shadow  sang to her.. she  blushed a bit, thinking  they were   honoring her, she held  up her glass  at the  singer  and  some of   Dixie s  friends  clapped at this.

 the  two Guys with he waved    at them as well.  One of the  them  send a drink to the singer as well.

"True, but we're not exactly talking Rambo here...I spent most of my time either crouched behind something trying to make a report whilst everyone else is doing all the fighting or trying to provide covering fire, and the one time I did actually shoot somebody I threw up" Izzy quietly spoke, still able to recall what the man had looked like. He had been in his early twenties with a patchy beard, a faded t-shirt and an AK-47 with the old style timber stock. She could even recall the surprised look on his face as he'd rounded the corner to find her standing the middle of the dusty back alley, along with the look of fear as she'd drawn her sidearm and shot him "...yeah I'm no hero like you guys, I'm just here to make other people look heroic" she said with a shrug before taking another sip of her drink.

The meal had been very good with her and Lizzy exchanging small talk as they listened to the music being played. Although Izzy did have to suppress a laugh when Dixie was honoured with Poison, with it clear that the Southerner had never actually listened to the lyrics to that particular song.

When dessert arrived Izzy's eyes would light up as the slice of chocolate cheesecake was placed before her, as it had been a very long time since she'd last been able to indulge her sweet tooth "So shall we hit the Pulse once we've finished here? Or was there somewhere else you'd like to take me first?" Izzy would ask with a smile. She'd really enjoyed Lizzy's company tonight and was interested to see what else the evening had in store for them.

 Lizzy will look at Izzy and say," Hey you are not full combat personnel Izzy, but it sounds like you did a great job to get stationed here. I can't wait to see what you got ob Bura as well." Lizzy smiled and was remembering her first combat with the Vampics, she was scared but she did good and never got hit. " Oh Izzy don't sell yourself short you are a hero to risk your life to show the truth and tell everyone's story."

 Lizzy enjoyed the small talk with Izzy she was having a great time, and Lizzy almost lost it laughing when Dixie thought she was being honored by the song. What a fucking bitch Lizzy thought, she was so stupid thinking that song was a honor.

 Desert showed up and it was delicious, as they ate the chocolate cheesecake. Then Izzy asked what was next, Lizzy wanted to go right to the pulse and dance the night away, but she decided on a stop first. " Yes we will head to the Pulse and have some fun dancing but first I would like to show you something Izzy okay."

 Lizzy would get her arm scanned to pay for the meal and leave a 20 credit tip. Then she will get up take Izzy's hand and says," I think you will like seeing this Izzy come with me." Lizzy will hold out her hand to Izzy with a huge smile on her face. When Izzy takes her hand, Lizzy will lead them out of the Officer's Club and head to the Observation Dec.

After finishing her cheesecake and asking where they would go next, she would give Lizzy a curious look as she said there was something she wanted her to see, holding her hand out towards her with a smile on her face. Take her hand Izzy would get up from the table and allow herself to be led away, curious to see what it was Lizzy wanted to show her.

The OC was a little quieter than usual considering the hour, but that would only make it a little more intimate, or so Izzy hoped, meaning that she may be able to kiss her girlfriend without blushing like a schoolgirl.

Leading Lizzy over to an empty table for two, Izzy would peruse the menu for a moment or two before asking her ”So what would you like? I’ll get it, my treat” she said clearly trying to make up for upsetting her and being late home ”Also I was also thinking that maybe after we get back I could give you massage if you like?”

 Lizzy walked with Izzy as they went to the Officer's Club, Lizzy was just happy to go eat and relax with izzy before she had to get to sleep for the tunnel run tomorrow.

 Lizzy saw that the Officer's Club was quiet, that was good. They went to a open table in the back and Lizzy would check over the menu, she was hungry but it was late but she needed to eat something for the run tomorrow. As she was looking over the menu Izzy asked her what she wanted and that she was treating. Lizzy smiled and said," I was just going to get a salad but if your treating, I will have hmmm." Lizzy giggled and said," I am going to get the garlic chicken, rice pilaf, green beans and a salad." Lizzy smiled and waited for the waitress to come over.

   some of the people near them    got up to leave, they were mostly  ensigns  and  dates who were  on the  ground  crews.

 The  waitress  looked  tired, but smiled,..hi..what  do you folks  want?

 Lizzy smiled and said," Hi I will have the Garlic chicken, rice pilaf ,green beans and a salad please. I will have a glass of soda please." She smiles and waits for Izzy to order. Lizzy could she the waitress was tired, Lizzy understood, Lizzy wasnt physically tired but she was definitely mentally drained after today.

A waitress would arrive not long after they had sat down to ask if they were ready to order”I’d like the pork casserole please and a glass of white wine please” Izzy would add once Lizzy had made her order. Once the decidedly tired looking waitress had left with orders, Izzy would smile across the table at her beautiful girlfriend, once again marvelling over the fact that the prettiest girl on the ship had decided to pursue her ”so...tunnel runs, what exactly am I letting myself in for?” she asked having never been on one herself and having only hearsay and rumour to go on...speaking of which ”...also is it really as tough as everyone makes it out to be?”

 Lizzy smiled , giggled a bit and said," You run the tunnels as fast as you can it is a 3 mile lap around the ship the LC makes us pilots do it, SEC and ground troops are invited to run, but if you do it the LC will push you. You dont have todo the run but it make give you some brownie points to everyone, they might might like you more for going the extra mile so too speak. It is tough just give it your all that is all the LC wants too see, also you run it in full combat gear. Like I said you dont have to do it, I have too."

”That doesn’t sound too bad...no worse than boot camp anyway” Izzy replied, sipping her glass of white wine as Lizzy explained how the tunnel runs worked ”oh I know I don’t have to, but I should probably try it if only the once, might help me keep up with all these giants on the ship” she said with giggle.

With the arrival of their meals, Izzy would smile and thank the waitress before continuing to talk to Lizzy as she started to eat. The aroma of her meal reminding her just how hungry she actually was and how little she’d eaten ”So your meeting with Captain Si went well I take it?” she asked curious to hear what Lizzy had learned about her mother.

 Lizzy smiled and said," Yes I think it would look great to join us in the run at least to check it out you could always film it."

 Lizzy smiled as their food arrived and then Izzy asked about her meeting with Captain Si. Lizzy was beaming she replied," Oh yes it went great, I found out my Mother loved to fly, she use to sneak away and fly a Hammer 1, it was so good just to find out a few things about her Izzy, and Captain Si would like to do it again and tell me some of the naughty things she use to do." Lizzy seemed so happy talking about her mom.

"Oh I'm not really bothered about how it looks to the others, They'll find something else to dislike me for, I'm more doing it to spend a little more time with you...that and getting the exercise wouldn't hurt either" Izzy replied with a shrug as she continued to eat her casserole.

At the mention of her chat with captain Si Lizzy's face would light up as she told her about her mother and how she'd liked to fly, and how Captain Si had promised to tell her stories of some of the naughty things they'd got up to "So that's where you got your naughty streak from?" Izzy said with a mischievous grin, knowing that Lizzy no doubt had a few stories of her own to share, one of which including the two of them together on a lake shore.

 FLEX

 Lizzy looks at her girlfriend and says," Well that is true but it wont hurt them seeing you do the tunnel run when you dont have too. Just remember to give it your all and push yourself you will be fine."

 Lizzy smiled and said," Yes I guess I did, I cant wait to hear some of the stories Captain Si knows, well at least I am not like my asshole father." Lizzy giggles and  continues to eat.

 Lizzy would eat her yummy meal and have a great time relaxing with Izzy, but it was getting late, there would be no dancing tonight.

”Sweetheart, it doesn’t take a genius to work that one out” Izzy replied to Lizzy’s comment about her not being like her father with a smile, suspecting that if that was the case then they wouldn’t still be together. Then again Lizzy’s father must have done something right to get Lizzy’s mother to marry him...or perhaps she had made a serious mistake ”Trust me, you’re nothing like him...in fact as far as I am concerned you’re perfect” she said with her cheeks flushing bright pink.

Despite it becoming increasingly apparent that they wouldn’t have the time to go dancing tonight, Izzy would still have a good time, with her telling Lizzy a couple of stories from when she was younger, in which she would inadvertently confess to playing D&D and reveal that she was rather fond of playing chess along with several other geeky pastimes.

Having finished their meals and with the evening drawing to a close Izzy would smile across at Lizzy as she spoke to her in an apologetic to e of voice ”I’m sorry we didn’t get to go dancing, I messed up...let me make it up to you?” she asked running her foot along the inside of Lizzy’s leg ”I was thinking that maybe I could massage your back and then well...perhaps a happy ending?” she asked with a wicked gleam her eyes that said that Lizzy wasn’t the only one with a naughty side.

 Lizzy smiled when Izzy quickly said she was nothing like her father, and when she said she was perfect Lizzy smiled even more. Lizzy would have to ask Captain Si how her mother and father met and what did her mother see in him unless he was different then.

 Lizzy had a great time chit chatting with Izzy, Lizzy also played rollplaying games, and she loved chess. Lizzy would tell Izzy stories of when she was younger but keeping talking about her father to a minimum, and then talking about her Academy days.

 Their meals where done and it was late, it was time for bed, Lizzy would say," Oh that is fine Izzy not your fault I spent longer than I thought with Captain Si as well." When Izzy rubbed her leg with her foot she knew what she had in mind. " Yes my love lets head home, you can give me a massage and we both can have a happy ending."

 Lizzy smiled, she left a 10 credit chip tip and said," Come my love." Lizzy would then get up and wait for Izzy was done.

Flex

She would enjoy swapping stories with Lizzy especially enjoying the ones about Lizzy's time in the academy, having never been herself. She would also learn much to her obvious delight that Lizzy was a chess player too, with her eagerly challenging her to a game sometime, though tonight she had other things in mind.

With Lizzy agreeing to the proposition of a massage, followed by a little fun and games, Izzy would pay for for their meals and add another ten creds to the tip, feeling that the tired looking waitress more than deserved it for taking care of their order at such a late hour. Once this was done she would loop an arm about Lizzy's slender waist and start walking back home, giggling as she softly replied "oh I'm certain I will"

 Lizzy smiled and accepted Izzy's challenge to a chess game. She smiled at the waitress and thanked her very much. Then Izzy put her arm around her waist and they walked out, " Oh my love we both will."

Justin strolled into the OC. After being seated he perused the menue selecting a Steak and eggs dish. Once he'd finished his breakfast Justin enjoyed a mug of hot coca then headed back to the Hanger for pre-mission briefing.

Madison remembered seeing the Officers Club while being shown around the day before. She considered going to the Rec Dec again, but she worried it would be too busy and too noisy. What she wanted was a quieter atmosphere. If the O Club was like the others, she could get a meal here without all the side shows.

When she entered, she scanned the room. There were only a couple officers there, and none to whom she had been introduced. It was just as well. She found an empty table and immediately scanned over the menu. She already had an idea of what she wanted, butt she double checked in case she saw something to change her mind. There wasn't.

Black Coffee, an Orange Juice, two eggs up, bacon, and a bowl of fruit.

Breakfast was good, but Madison did have to add a bit of water to her coffee. Next time she would remember how strong they tend to make it. With her meal finished, she went on to the Hangar Dec

Although she'd been shown the OC on her first day aboard the Hermes, this was her first visit.  The decor and atmosphere were pleasant, and she had heard generally good things as regards the food.

Having sent Justin a message, stating her destination, she found a table and began reviewing the menu, somewhat more hungry than she'd thought.

The session had taken a lot of mental energy.  Barrett's previous doctor hadn't exaggerated as to the depth of his troubles; no, not in the least...

  A  civie  desses in  'hermes shirt and slacks' arrived at the table,  asking  if Alison   was ready to  order.


 There was some  faint music  from the Vid machine, but no one   dancing, it was past , mid-day, ship's time.
