Garrat laughs.  "We flew through the taters of your fleet to get you.  Hyrian society as you know it is dead.  The fleet you sent to Veria is dead.  The ships that guard your homeworld defeated.  Your lands and your waters, poisoned.  The leader of your black fleet was allowed the honor of fighting Hack one on one and he couldn't even do it with out the help of the puppies accompanying him.  He lost his little paw, not even giving enough of a fight to get himself killed and was sent scampering home with his tail between his legs. 

    "You have nothing we need, nothing to bargain with, but I for one have seen canine societies that were honorable, not oversized Mulls with dillusions of grandeur like most of your species.  I was going to propose a clean colony of your people in the delta quadrant but if you prefer your litter mates die on a diseased world that's up to you."

   He turns to the keeper.  "Are you sure you can't let me in there?"

  ..Let you in there?  sure i could.... and you and I would  be flipping a coin who gets the top bunk, in a log cabin in the Delta Colonies.

  The Hyrain's  nostrils  flare,....How  do i know this to be Ture... You humans  turn on each other.. Jerg  could not be beaten by a mere human!...And the Black fleet once turned the Demons away from out  rim colonies.

   Garrat shrugs.  He get's on his vid board and sees if he can tap into the feed Where hack fights the dog, I seriously don't know why I'm bothering but I suppose this is more interesting than watching those peacocks on Everest.

  She watches the scene unfold. At first she grins a feral grin as  the  Dogs  charge across the  bridges to meet the Hermes   grounds  crew, and whatever SEC  were handy.

 the  small bit of MArines opening  up cutting  dogs  down, the torpedo fired into the Hanger Dec of the  Hyrain flagship

  Then Hack's  Savage attack on the Hyrain, ending  as   jerg was   distracted  for a second and lost his  paws.

 The  vId sshoed shormaker  close  by as he  tok a nasty cut from a Hyarian Blade but  gunned  down the 4 who tried to reach Beth.... beth twictehd  twice  as  Pulse  rounds hit  her  back armor, but she never   wavered from her keyboards.

 of to the right of the screen  Morris  was  plucking Dog offciers with  a sniper rifle, unaware of the  rush of Hounds , coming down the flight Line, Until Vinnie  Jummed from a wing tip  Driving His Hyerdriver into the Hyrian Offcier, even as the  dog sent  3 feet of  Hyrian steel through his back.

  The Chief said, in a horse voice,..didn't like showing that too much..too many good folks died.....rather show the Hound  homeworld , getting toasted.

 The Hyrian looked dumbstruck..her  voice was  a growl, but also a whisper.....how...could this be...

  "You were arrogant fools.  Humans specialize, train them selves to be what they need to be.  You and your allies threatened us.  So the ESN trained it's self to destroy you."  To the Chief "Go ahead and show her"

  The Chief  shrugged,..ok  Fido? I've been running a loop for   the   Guncams from the payload ship....from what i understand,  3 Occui rode  the ship down to make sure they could  pick , the right target

 he chuckles,..Now?.. I'm not  real good  at some stuff.. but i sorta like it  when egg heads screw up?.... They needed to hit..just the right spot to poison air, water..farmalnd and give you doggies a damn big warning....but? they seemed to take into account, that some worlds  rotate faster then  others?... they hit the  other side of where they wanted....hit your  biggest  Dam , instead of your  2nd biggest..and?  it also turned out to be, where you Heads of state were hiding..so..you got  some general and an Admiral with no paws, trying to lead  people who are dying by the hour...

 The   Vids  come on,this is your Vids..news    i guess...

 Vids were choppy, screens  covered with ash, or some odd ball greenish  dew... smaoke and fires..  thousands  of  fur covered bodies  lying   in the streets, falling from buildings... air cars crashing  and Burning.  many  tried to get into  Buildigns, pounding on Glass  and doors, some shattered letting the infected  in.



 Hyrian   armor was   trying to make its  way into the streets, but there was  too many dead bodies

    Garrat shakes his head looking at the videos.  "No species is free of the threat of instant obliteration and the ESN dealt it in 12 hours.  You and the demons already had us on the chopping block.  We won't let that happen again."  He turns to the Hyrian.  "I hope some of your family survives.  I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy and you are way down the list...but the harder we hit you, the more we have a chance of bringing the last of the triad over without obliterating them.  You should have taken the hint with the last planet we stomped.  Then we wouldn't have needed to up the stakes with yours."

  The Hyrian's Muzzle is wet around the eyes... She   sit  down on her cot...we are  Hyrians.... we bow to no one. That is why the Empire  befriended us, rather then fight us. Your people..Attacked us... No warning...no prelude...you just started killing Hyrians...

  The Chief  shrugs,..from  the vids?  i heard a few  warnings... he looks at Garrat as he said this.

   "I did too.  Your leaders were warned at least twice and repeatedly ignored us.  Did you want to continue paying for their mistakes?"  Garrat knows the vids were made public and looked at the warden, hoping he could que them up.

  The Chief  grins sadisticlly at the Hyrian.  He  searches..a bit   clumsy , but he  finds the  Vids with the sound Bites..and even   Hack's FAce to face 'discussions' with  the leaders of   Fleets, ships  or the  Planet

  he even plays  the part of Jerg and him getting ready Before the Hermes  slammed the   Boarding harpoons into the Hyrian vessel..

 The Hyrian  watches the Vids... sometime snarling... sometimes  watching as  HAck used his  threats, that  had  a promise of 'backing off' in it.

 In the End, she  saw the  dark satisfaction in his  face as he acknowledged the Hyrians chose to fight.

 after  a good  30 minutes of  searching  watching  and listening.

  ...so...it is true....My people...my world... will die....We will be  absorbed by the Empire....and we will have to do their bidding... she points to the screen that the chief  froze as  HAck cut off the talks. The dark , intense  stare at the  Hyrian on the screen, with a growing smile.

   Garrat laughs. "The demon Empire has abused every relationship they've been in.  They already absorbed you.  Your leaders are the ones who puffed you up to believe otherwise just as they sealed your fate.   That "Madman" would have stuck by his word no matter how he felt about your people unlike those you call your allieas.  I've seen him do it before."  Garrat looks at the screen. "You and everyone you love might still have the choice between the hammer or the nail.  If you want to give it a go, just say the word, otherwise your people will die in agony on a ravaged world while you sit in here and watch.  Do you have it in you to try and lead them to salvation, or will you be to arrogant to do the right thing like your leaders?"

  The Chief   sets the  Vids on a Lop, starting with the  first warnings  at 'The Line"..all the way through the destruction on Hyria.


 The   Dog Lowered her head  and gave it a shake,..Even  should i try?..who would follow me?  I lost Mu ship to  Some unkown Delta Fleet Bastard... i was  pulled aboard the  Delta Devil's flagship?..what  Hyrian is going to listen to me ...?..How..could this HAppen

   Garrat returns. "Your in luck.  The Admiral will see you on the flight deck.  Know that with a whim I WILL space you but I owe it to some friends to see that you are heard out.  There are some rules but first is first is first."  He turns to the warden,  "Has she been searched since I brought her in?"

   The Chief  Comes in with the keycard...Its equipment  had been taken, only had a boot knife  and COM....but?.. can't  do much  about them fangs  or claws...

 Two DSEC troopers   stood there with chest armor and shotguns,..I can.... the taller one said.

  The Hyrian looked at GArrat.I do not exepct much to  come from taking to the Devil of the Delta....

     Garrat grabs her by  the throat and slams her against the wall. "Okay, listen and listen good.  When I spoke of you saving your people I meant it. This isn't just your last chance, it is the last chance of your entire species.  Like I said, I owe it to some friends back home in Asgard to get you the benefit of the doubt.  Hack has sacrificed parts of his own Loki cursed soul to protect his people.  He has swallowed his pride, watched friends and family torn to shreds, and still honors you with the title of sentient species, and gives your people a chance to surrender and live.  That is more than you gave the human children you devour as delicacies.  Your gods have abandoned you.  He is your God now.  Ignore your foolish arrogance or your entire people will suffer."

    Garrat put her down before she passes out holding her up with one huge hand grasping her uniform. "I put my neck out there to give you a chance to save your people.  This isn't about your silly pride, or the false pride of your ignorant people.  This is about saving Hyrian lives.  You may have a chance to start new, and your people would never have offered that to a species that ate your children. Now are you ready to do this or will I save you and myself the grief and end you?

  The Hyrian   Flexed  its  neck Muscles, it s claws were ready to strike,but itd  eyes  watched the  SEC Guards.

  When Garrat let her Go, she growls , mor ethen speaks...I said i would go... You may say what you wish about your master... I will see for myself, what he is...

  The Shotguns were up, but cpould not  fire..but they were ready.

Garrat smiles a ghostly smile.  "That you will little puppy.  That you will."  Garrat leads the way to the hanger deck

Teela stopped by her quarters and dropped her gear off after leaving Townes in Justin's capable hands and decided she needed to check on Dixie, it having been several days since she had turned herself in with little chance of a break since. She stopped at the entrance to the brig and checked in with the OOW. "Ensign An-Teela here to see the SSN merc pilot, Dixie."

 he presses the  button  and the  Dor Opens  and a  metal barred dooe slide op to the Left.

 The  Red Bird Pilot still had  her uniform and was  reading  something on a Vidboard.

Teela walked in and looked her over to see how she seemed to fare since making her new residence in the Hermes brig. She appeared well and had access to a vidboard which made the Angel somewhat happy.

"Dixie," she called out. "How have you been?"

  The  Woman Looked   up. Marked the page on the  book she was  reading on the vid feed. and  sat up.
