Breathing heavily as a result of her exertions, Izzy would snuggle up beside Lizzy with exhaustion threatening to take her at any moment "well...I'm pretty sure I've discovered a cure for insomnia" Izzy quietly giggled before purposefully leaning across Lizzy in order to retrieve her comms unit having learned through bitter experience that people had a habit of sending her important messages whilst she was having sex.

As she read Sam's message a smile would come to her face upon learning that there was a very good chance that she was going to be on the Hermes and would like to meet up with her and Lizzy if she could find the time in between her duties "My friend Sam says there's a good chance that she's going to be on the Hermes pretty soon, she wants to meet you" Izzy whispered into Lizzy's ear, with her pausing to give the lobe a playful nip before tapping out a quick message back.

Comms message to Sam: "Hey Sam that's great I can't wait to see you again! Sorry I didn't reply sooner but I got kind of sidetracked. I'm totally fine, got through the battle without a single scratch and as for me and Lizzy well..."

Holding her comms unit out at arms length she would take a quick picture of her and Lizzy snuggled up together in bed. Although the picture was cropped in close so you couldn't see anything, their bare shoulders and tousled hair more than hinted at what they'd been up to, not to mention the fact that there was quite clearly a headboard in the background.

After sending Sam the message and photo, Izzy would quickly check for any other messages before dropping the unit onto the bedside table and cuddling up with Lizzy "So...seeing as we both dropped the L bomb, what do we do now?" she asked having never been in a proper relationship before, with her curious to see what Lizzy had in mind.

 Lizzy held Izzy close, giggled and she said," Well Izzy I am glad we have figured that out, now we have to do it every night Izzy." She giggled again, when Izzy leaned across Lizzy, she tickled Izzy's chest as she got her Comms unit.

 As Izzy got her comms unit, Lizzy grabbed hers and checked to see if she had any messages. Then Izzy said her friend Sam had a good chance of being on the Hermes pretty soon and wanted to meet Lizzy. Izzy then nipped her ear, Lizzy let out a eek and giggled. " That is great, can't wait to talk to her more she seemed very nice Izzy."  Lizzy was excited to meet Sam, and get to know her better.

 Izzy took a picture of then in bed, Lizzy didn't care she held Izzy close for the picture. Then She got a picture for herself, she wanted to have to have it and she thought of sending it to Harry. She has no clue what time it was, as Izzy typed most likely a message to Sam, Lizzy set an alarm for 8:00 am so she could get up maybe have more fun with Izzy and then shower and get into her dress uniform for the Send Off.

 Lizzy cuddled with Izzy and then she said what now. Lizzy was clueless she had never really had a real relationship either. Lizzy looked into Izzy's eyes and said," Well my love I have no clue what tomorrow will bring but I say we just live each day like it is our last and enjoy each other as best we can. If you want maybe we could request bigger quarters if you want to live with me that is but maybe we should slow it down some but Izzy I can't hide my feelings for you anymore and I don't think I can hold off showing public displays of affection with you Izzy." Lizzy hugs and kisses her deeply and says," I am so new to real relationships how about we just play it by ear my love." With that Lizzy holds Izzy close and kisses her again showing how much she truly loves Izzy.

 Comm text to Izzy: " Oh Izzy so glad you are okay and Lizzy made it as well, it was a bad fight, and we almost lost you guys. The picture is amazing so I guess I dont have to ask if she likes you do I, hopefully see you soon my friend. Sam."

With plenty of giggling going on as the two women continued to caress and tease one another, Izzy would use one hand to play with Lizzy's hair with other one slowly exploring the rest of her body as she listened to her softly speak of slowing things down a notch along with the possibility of them moving into bigger quarters together "That might not be a bad idea, if we keep going at this pace we'll be married with kids by the end of next week!" Izzy giggled, still finding it astonishing that she'd gone from straight and single to a serious lesbian relationship in the space of four days....not that she was complaining as being caught up in Lizzy's unique ability to get exactly what she wanted was one of the things that had drawn her to the beautiful fighter jock in the first place "...besides we wouldn't need bigger quarters, I'm only little...though I do have a lot of clothes" she continued, giggling as her hands continued to wander with the only stopping as a rather worrying problem came to mind "I should probably come out to my mum sometime soon, I mean I know we're in deep space but I can't keep something like this from her...especially if we start seeing each other publicly" it had probably been unfair of her to make Lizzy keep their relationship a secret, a stupid idea considering how much noise they'd made last night, and so was willing to take the plunge and let the Hermes, if not the whole world that they were couple.

 Lizzy knew they where moving at warp speed but in this war the black can be relentless in taking people from this war. She wasn't kidding they live each day like it was your last, because it could be either of their last. Lizzy giggled with Izzy's comment about being married with kids by the end of next week. Lizzy looked at Izzy with love in her eyes and said," Now would that be such a bad thing, maybe the kids wouldn't have as much time for fun my love." Lizzy gave her another deep, passionate kiss from her soul.

 Lizzy held her close and then Izzy brought up she was small but had a lot of clothes, Lizzy giggles again and then says," Well maybe we can just quarters with bigger and extra closets then because I have a lot of clothes as well. You are not that small with your 3" heels on you are as tall as me Izzy, well you are just a wonderful amazing person in a sexy package to me my love."

 Izzy stopped caressing Lizzy's body and then brought up telling her Mom about her and Lizzy. Lizzy took Izzy's hand gently and with caring and love she says," Izzy yes you should tell her, it was hard for me when I told my Father I was interested in woman, he was not surprised I never hid I liked both sexes. I will be with you supporting you all the way Izzy, she has the right to know and to know you are happy that is what parents really want for their kids, well at least parents who truly love you and try not to kill you." Lizzy's heart hurt for a minute, she was trying to fight the feelings for her Father, but the feelings she had for Izzy quickly got her Father out of her head.

 Lizzy holds Izzy tight and says," Izzy I hope we can see each other publicly, plus the whole Officers Dec know what we have been doing the last two nights, and I love being with you and close to you Izzy. I just want everyone to know how we feel about each other, but not sure if it will help you with the crew but it seems you have patched things up somewhat with Beth now you need to fix things with LC and you will be golden. Hey if you could sway Harry into being nice to you Izzy, you can sway anyone on this ship Izzy. "

With a look on her face that said that murder was a very real possibility and that she simply hadn't chosen a victim yet, Harry would exit the lift and head straight for her quarters. Once inside she would angrily pace back a forth cursing Will and his bullshit reasons, she didn't particularly trust the reporter either but at least she was making some kind of an effort! And why the hell did have to bring up what had happened on the hangar dec? How long was he going to hold that over her, it was like she'd done it on purpose!?

Walking into the kitchenette she would grab a glass from out of the cupboard before loudly opening and closing several others in search of something to help calm her down before hurling the glass against the far wall with an angry cry as she remembered that she was standing in, by her own insistence, a drink free zone, Screw it! I'm not supposed to drink the bloody stuff anyway! she fumed as she stared at the glass she'd just broken in her rage.

She would momentarily consider calling someone, however with most of her friends busy celebrating she'd quickly discard the idea and instead go to bed, leaving the shards of broken glass where they lay, he can bloody well clear them up! she thought to herself as she got undressed and crawled into bed with Hamlet, holding the tiny hamster against her cheek "not one word, you hear me, I don't want to hear it!" she whispered and to his credit Hamlet kept his mouth firmly shut.

"hmm that is kind of the whole point, If I don't wear heels everyone towers over me and people like Sergeant Garrat make me feel like a pixie!" Izzy responded as Lizzy brought up the topic of her heels, with the only shoes she owned that didn't have high heels consisting of her combat boots and a pair of running shoes.

With Lizzy saying that she really should tell her mother about them Izzy would pull a bit of a face, with it clear that she really wasn't looking forward to that particular conversation "I know, it's just that my mums always been kind of traditional, she's always wanted me to settle down and have a family so that she can be a grandmother, so me telling her that I like girls may not go down too well" she said with a sigh of resignation, knowing that she had no choice but to tell her but fearing what may happen because of it.

On the topic of patching things up with Shadow, she would give Lizzy look like she'd just suggested she eat road kill "Do I have to? I had enough trouble with dumb football jocks giving me a hard time at school and now it's happening all over again...he's even got the cheerleader girlfriends to whisper nasty things about me behind my back"

 Lizzy holds Izzy close, " Izzy hun I have always been the shortest Pilot I have ever seen, I got so many jokes about would my legs reach the pedals, would I be tall enough to see out of the cockpit. Yeah Garrat is pretty huge but he makes many of us look tiny even me Izzy." Lizzy kisses her and then says ," In this case size doesn't matter, it is what is in your heart and doing your best is all that matters Izzy, hey in combat you are a smaller target to hit right?"

 Lizzy knew it would be hard for Izzy to tell her traditional Mother she was in a relationship with a woman. Lizzy again holds Izzy close and says," Well you can tell her we are serious and I would love to settle down and have a family with you Izzy, either of us could get artificially inseminated and carry a child, or we could adopt a child who has lost their family in this damn war. I love kids and want to have several kids if I can, I just feel happy around them, I think you could tell that Izzy." She smiles and then adds," I will be there with you if you want me there Izzy, I also would love to meet your Mom."

 Lizzy saw Izzy's look and said," Izzy you saw how Will reacted to you, and barely knows you, most of that is because how you interacted with the LC and Beth, you need to keep building with Beth and need to at least get respect from LC. Just be yourself Izzy, your true self not your reporter fake self. Treat him and others with the respect you want others to treat you with and you will be good. Plus Izzy remember you can't win on this, you said it yourself I always get what I want right, so please do this for me, I want you to be liked and get respect Izzy, I know you can do it Izzy I have faith in you my love."

 After everything Lizzy adds," Izzy I love you and I just want to spend time with you and I want you to be successful in your job and enjoy being on the Hermes." Lizzy will then hold her close and give her a very passionate caring kiss. After the Kiss lizzy says," I have to go to the bathroom Izzy, be right back keep my spot warm for me." Lizzy got up grabbed her comms and headed to the bathroom, she gave izzy a great view of her butt and she shook it as she went to the bathroom.

 Lizzy went to the bathroom as she was doing her business she got out her Comms and sent Harry a Comm Text: " Hi Harry hope things are great with you Will was a little cold with Izzy but hopefully we can fix that, but I told her I love her and she loves me too Harry, i am so happy. See you tomorrow oh and here is a picture of us." Lizzy adds the slefie pic of her and Izzy, Harry couldn't see their chests but she could tell what they where doing and the where both so happy and beaming.

 Lizzy then came came in and crawled into bed next to Izzy and said," Did you miss me and are you okay Izzy?"

There would be a slight narrowing of her eyes as Izzy tried to figure out whether Lizzy was being serious or simply making the most of the situation and making a short joke of her own. However with things rapidly moving on to the topic of her coming out to her mother she would let it slide, besides which she was in too much of a good mood to make a big deal out of it.

She would listen as Lizzy pointed out that not only could she tell her mother that she was in a serious relationship but that Lizzy herself wanted children, she would reluctantly admit that that might soften the blow "I've never really thought about having kids...I was always more focused on my career, that and I really didn't enjoy having straight sex so the idea of getting pregnant was seriously unappealing" she quietly confessed, deciding that perhaps it was something to think about, after all from what she'd seen Lizzy was really good with children and would probably make a wonderful mother, whether she would however was another matter entirely.

With Lizzy once gain urging her to make amends with Beth and the LC, Izzy would give a noncommittal shrug with her seriously doubting whether such a thing was possible let alone have the desired effect of making her slightly less hated "I guess so" she said with the barest hint of a smile as Lizzy pointed out that she always got what she wanted.

She would watch as Lizzy got out to go to the bathroom, with Izzy taking the time to admire the sway of her hips as she walked across the room, smiling when she reemerged several minutes later. Pulling her in close Izzy would gently nuzzle the side of her neck as she made herself comfortable, giggling softly as she replied "Maybe"

 Lizzy was laying next to Izzy and then she said maybe she missed her. Lizzy held her close, they talked about some tough things Lizzy kisses Izzy deeply and passionately. After a few minutes of an amazing kiss she then quietly says," Izzy I love you we will work through whatever we need too, to be together, and Izzy my love I will always be there for you no matter what."

 Lizzy then nibbles her ear and then adds," So are you ready for some more fun or would you like to cuddle and fall asleep in each others arms?"

”Hmm I love you too” Izzy softly sighed, with her then stifling a yawn before softly replying to the question of what to do next ”hmm as much as I enjoy having sex with you I think I’ll try and get some sleep...I wasn’t kidding about the insomnia” she murmured sleepily, deciding that she would at least try and get some sleep...she could always wake Lizzy up later if it didn’t work.

 Lizzy holds her close and says," I know you wheren't Izzy then lets get some sleep, I set an alarm for 8 so we will have some time before we have to get ready for Send Off. Good night my love."  Lizzy will hold her close give her a nice tender kiss, and give Izzy an amazing smile. Then Lizzy cuddles up with Izzy close and closes her eyes and falls happily asleep with her amazing girlfriend in her arms.

(( Morning  after  ..after party))

 Will came  tot eh  quarters, he opened it  quietly.. it  was 0800..he was  still a bit   tired. He went to the locker he had his dress uniform in.. Thanking it on the edge  of the  door and   tried to be quiet to  take a  quick shower and freshen up  to get dressed.

 a Few Moments  later   , teeth brushed  and showered, he   began  to pout on his  dress  uniform,

 Lizzy had amazing dreams all about Izzy, being wit her, having a family with her, meeting her Mom. Lizzy had the whole gambit of dreams all very nice and all about Izzy. Lizzy woke up and opened her eyes she saw Izzy's beautiful face as she opened her eyes, she smiled and just stared at Izzy sleeping, she looked so beautiful and peaceful.

  Lizzy carefully checked her Comms, it was 5 of 8:00, she turned off her alarm, she checked to make sure no messages fro Melia, Harry, or the LC for training. She figured they would have training soon after getting new pilots and new SEC and ground troops. Lizzy finally said," Good morning Izzy, open those gorgeous eyes." She gives Izzy a good morning kiss and says," I could really get use to waking up like this Izzy, we have time to do whatever you want , we have 2 hours before Send Off."

"You're back" Harry softly said from where she laid in bed as Will started changing into his dress uniform. Taking this as a sign that she needed to get up she would slip out of bed and head towards the en-suite, with a single glance telling Will that she'd barely slept last night and had been crying...a lot "watch where you walk, there's broken glass in the main room" she said in a miserable voice as she closed the door behind her and got into the shower.

It had been a bad night. With Will gone and no one else to turn to at such a late hour other than Hamlet she had simply lain awake torturing herself over every little thing that entered her head with the most notable being her own impending fiery death, because how much longer could she expect her luck to hold out with every passing battle growing bigger and bloodier than the last. Truth be told the last thing she needed right now was to attend the mass funeral of her brothers and sisters in arms but she knew that her absence would be noted and unapproved of and so she would silently shower and then change into her own dress uniform before heading down to the hangar dec either with or without Will's company.

  when HArry came out of the shower, she noted the   glass was  cleaned up, wills landry bag secured  with his used  uniform, and he was gone.

 Hamlet sat on the bed staring at the door.

It hadn't been long after Lizzy had kissed her goodnight that Izzy would drift off into a deep and dreamless sleep, the likes of which she hadn't experienced in quite some time and would only awaken the following morning in response to the sensation of Lizzy's lips against her own.

It would take her a moment to work out where she was with her smiling once her sleep fogged mind had put the pieces together "Morning...you know I could get used to being woken up like that, especially if I keep getting a good nights sleep" she softly said before offering her girlfriend an impish grin "Anything?" she said recalling some of the more enjoyable activities, not that any of it had been un-enjoyable but there were some definite high points that she wanted to revisit.

With her tiny hands slowly beginning to move across Lizzy's body she would quietly giggle in between kissing her girlfriend, with her first starting at her lips before slowly migrating down to her neck and throat. She would need a little time to get back to her quarters in order to prepare for the send off, suspecting that she would get in far more trouble by not attending than she would by going and simply staying out of everyone's way. However that could wait until later as Izzy whispered into Lizzy's ear exactly what she wanted her to do to her.

 Lizzy smiled at Izzy , and she would softly say back," I am so glad you seem to get a good's nights sleep being with me, that makes me happy." Then Izzy said anything, Lizzy was afraid what she might say but anything they have done Lizzy had no problem with, and in the last two nights she did have a lot too choose from. Lizzy smiled and says, seductively. " Yes anything my love." she had a grin on her face as well.

 Lizzy enjoyed Izzy's kisses and then she moved down to her throat , then Izzy whispered to Lizzy what she wanted Lizzy to do to her, she smiled and said," Oh my Izzy sure that is fun, glad you enjoyed that." Lizzy would get what was required from the toy box and they would do what Izzy wanted to do, they both had an incredible time. After they where done Lizzy would say," We still have some time you can shower here with me if you would like that Izzy?"

With Lizzy more than happy to oblige her request the pair of them would enjoy each other's company with Izzy trying her best to keep the noise down as the last thing she wanted was to upset their neighbours by waking them up at all hours with the sounds of their love making. She was unpopular enough already without adding that to the list.

With a very happy Izzy collapsing atop of her lover as breath came in short gasps, she would smile and nod at Lizzy's suggestion of them taking a shower together with her having seemingly lost the power of speech for the time being. Giving her a quick kiss on the lips a giggling Izzy would roll out of bed, taking the bed sheets with her as she did so before then dashing into the bathroom and starting the shower, beckoning for Lizzy to join her from the doorway with a seductive look on her face.

One very enjoyable shower later, Izzy would find herself sat on the edge of Lizzy's bed doing up the buttons of her blouse, having tracked down and collected last nights clothing from where it had been strewn across Lizzy's quarters "so...um...I'm not really sure what I've got on today but maybe we could meet up for a meal or something? Perhaps we'll even be able to watch that film" she said with a laugh, knowing that their track record of doing anything when they were alone together wasn't great and that she had no reason to believe that this time around would be any better. Not that she was complaining.

 After the very enjoyable shower together Lizzy helped Izzy dry off and then she went and got their clothes, Izzy began to put her clothes on as Lizzy got out her dress uniform and laid in on the bed.

 Lizzy put on a fresh bra and panties, then Izzy asked about maybe meat up for a meal and maybe watch that film. Lizzy smiles, " Sure they will say what we are up too after Send Off, I will know my schedule then, once you figure out when you will be free we will meet. Definitely a meal would be great and yes Izzy we will watch that movie, and just cuddle." Lizzy laughed a little as well but smiled lovingly Lizzy was fine just holding her close, the sex was amazing but Lizzy felt so much for for Izzy other than the sex.

 Lizzy walked Izzy to the door, she gives her a deep passionate kiss and says," We will talk after the Send Off okay see you then my love." Lizzy poked her head out as she watched izzy head to her quarters to get ready.

 Once Izzy left Lizzy took out her Mom's picture and says," Mom I found someone special Mom, it is a woman, a wonderful, sweet, and damn sexy woman. I will always love you Mom and thank you for always being there for me." Lizzy would look at the picture of her Mom, she kisses the picture and then puts the picture in thetop pocket of her Dress Uniform so it couldn't be seen. Lizzy then got dressed in her Dress Uniform, she put on some makeup, fixed her hair, she pulled it into a ponytail. She checked her Comms to see if Harry replied to the text and picture she sent her yet.

 Lizzy then heads out of her quarters and heads for the Hanger Deck and the Send Off, as she passes the guards she says," Thank you and sorry for the noise last night." She then enters the lift.

After a long and lingering goodbye kiss Izzy would quickly walk the relatively short distance to her quarters, offering an embarrassed smile to anyone she met long the way, including the troopers currently on duty.

Once inside she would quickly change into her dress uniform complete with the obligatory high heels before then brushing her hair and putting up into a bun and applying her makeup. After checking her appearance in the mirror to make sure that everything was neat and in the right place she would head out of the door for the send off, once again leaving Tali behind so that she wouldn’t be accused of anything whilst she was there.

 Will settled down, he switched out of his Dress  Uniform, for his Envirosuit, he left his armor on the  floor , for now. He leaned  back in the   chair and closed his  eyes  a bit resting up for the run

  Others  came  down the  P=way heading to thier  quarters  to   rest and relax  after  the send off and the Brunch.

 A few of the pilots looked forward to the run..Most dreaded it. The odds were heavy, that those who ran the tunnels on thier own, or with Shadow in the mornings, didn't  seem to might  as much as most.

 The Nivarian   Admiral and his  XO where shown to   visiting Quarters on the 'other side' of the elevator. they would be going to observe   the run, to see how the Hermes's Largs  inter grated with the Crew

 Lizzy was looking forward to the run, so far it has helped her build more endurance. She stripped out of her clothes slide into her envirosuit, which was basically another skin it was so tight but it didn't restrict movement. She then got on her light boarding armor she wore it during combat and she was fine with it, now running with it would be interesting to say the least.

 Lizzy got her weapons on and ready, she would then check everything once she was ready and she would stop by the Hanger Dec to get her Thompson.

Upon entering her quarters Harry would find Will seemingly asleep in a chair with his armour neatly arranged on the floor for later along with the rest of his kit. Remembering what the girls had advised her to do she would open her mouth to speak to him only to decide against it. Instead she would meekly walk into the bedroom and start changing out of her uniform and into her flight gear in preparation for the run, though she would have to make a quick detour to the hangar dec to retrieve her SMG and survival pack from her fighter along the way.

  Will  started, he looked around, he  stood  and began to  put his armor on over his  enviro suit, He heard  some  motions  in the bed area,   but continued  to   get his armor on, just as if it were a Jump off.
