She chuckled softly and took another sip from her drink. "Busy or...can you join me at the window?" she nodded her head towards the view. "And you'll have to teach me some things when I have some time."

  Arnie  Nodded to Slavic,Going to take 10 Minutes, then  I'll finish up, you take acre of the people, I'll do the stock.after.

Billie stepped onto the OB dec, raking her fingers through her hair as she looked for Arnie. When she spots him, she moves up to him and kisses him softly before taking what was quickly becoming her preferred seat.

  Arnie  grinned.looks like the Tunnel run didn't hurt you any.... how do you feel?

Slavic came back from the middle  where the stand up tables were, a tray of glasses in hand...You will not see me  run the Tunnel, unless that come her  and drag me

"I actually did fairly well...I surprised myself," she chuckled, knowing that they weren't her strong suit but maybe with all the practicing, she's been getting better. "I'm pretty proud of myself. How are you guys fairing here?"

   Arnie   fills a soda  for himself, and  sips it...Not  doing too bad..Slavic   seems  to not understand , Humans like to  drink alot

 She  Gave a look at Arnie,,,I do not know how  we lost to you...all these  drunk people...

 another chuckle,You lost to us, because  we dropped a few Hundred Thousand Tons  of  ordinance  on your planet,  and knocked  down 70% of  your aircraft...not sure  what the Ground total was...  But I bet   Nivar lost more the we did...

 we were not  prepared  for such an Onslaught? we   were to have had peace Talks...

 Arnie's  voice leveled out...would that be the same peace talks, that your  rulers  sent  an ambush,  and  not only killed the  Admiral and Captain's  Si's unborn, but made it so, there will never be another?...quite frankly?  I don't know why he didn't turn Nivar into an asteroid..

 Slavic  slammed   the rag into the sink...Because they need our resources.....We are  part of the APF now..whether we like it or not.... that does not mean we are proud of it..

 she moved off  with the rag, to  wipe  down the tables.

 Arnie  looked at Billie and shrugged,she has issues...according to her..LC capped  some one from her  family when he was trying to escape after he crash landed... she Lost two more   during the shelling..I am pretty sure  she realizes , being APF is better then being Empire?...but losing those people stort sticks ?

"Someone is a little spicy..." she said softly, watching where the other bartender went before returning her gaze to Arnie. "Some people can't handle the truth of how things are..."

   Arnie   pulled his sto0l over, Sitting behind the bar  next to  Billie..those  two Blue  dots are getting Bigger... and the one of the left is where the Hermes is going....supposed to  be a quick Jump off... I never heard of a quick jump off...

"Wait...what does that mean?" she asked, confused at his words. She had glanced to the windows, noting what Arnie was talking about.

  He  Points   with one  finger, from his  glass  at the   Blue Dots...E-1 and E-2.. two massive  twins  that are  earth..orBura lke.... we have outsposts  and some colonies there...Empire has  folks there...Rumor  has it , that some Aech-Tech found one of the Chinese  ships  that left Earth before The Hermes and  The Hades....it was  found out they had Empire  Help, which is why the  China Group isn't  trusted... anyway..we're supposed to go in and  save them..that means troops  and  aircaft..

“Oh…I see,” she frowned before pulling her gaze from the windows and looked back at Arnie, smiling softly. “Well I suppose that means that I take advantage of my downtime.”

   Arnie    smiles as he sips  his drink.well?  i mean?   how  bad  can it  be?   If you ask me.. we  should  just help the outposts  and   colonies there  shore up  and Hunt  down the   Empire Scum... Those Chinese didn't worry about us  workign with them before..no use wating time   now.... Damn Arch-Techs... give them a 10,000 year old Vase and they have to dig up 30 miles  of  land to find the shelf it fell off..

"Given my current experiences...I have learned to never hold my breath for something to be easy. It never works out that way," Billie said with a chuckle and a shake of her head. "So how is it working with Slavic? I mean...is there any tension? Do you two bicker a lot?"

  Arnie  shrugs at the question....I don't have a clue why she's  here..there are a bunch of  ships that have alot more Nivarians on board then we do?..but she  comes here, to the  same ship  the  guy who 'killed her people"...we get into  it sometimes... I was suprised  when  i didn't here Med tech called here, when Shadow  came up and she  was running the OB dec...

"Seems a little concerning though right?" she asked softly, that particular thought not sitting too well with her. It seemed that Slavic wasn't that stable and she wondered if perhaps she might be a rat...

   Arnie slowly nods,it is?  But maybe  , because Beta fit so damn well here..she hadnled  drunks,  the over flow from parties, and even  the LC's  'tests'... never got a complaint  about Beta.

"Well...has...she been like...properly screened and such? The reaction alone is worrisome..." Billie kept her voice down low, not trying to draw any attention to what was being said between them.

  There is a  brief  paus, as Arnie says,she on the boat?.. I mean..Lights Ourt didn't  send anythig to me..or Beth  contact me..She didn't try to kill Shadow..Shadow  didn't seem to want to kill her..soooo?

"We also know that sometimes...things can fall through the cracks if there is nothing ringing any immediate bells..."

    Standing up, Arnie  gives a shrug...refilling his soda. He says,we'll find  out..Judgement  comes hard and fast  on The Hermes

 two  people were leavign, waved at the two and headed off  with  the Nivarian comung back with glasses to wash.

Entering the observation dec Harry would pause as she was in the process of passing the bar area. She would give Nivarian woman a confused look and open her mouth as if to ask a question before shaking her head walking on, obviously deciding her question wasn't worth asking. After finding a seat somewhere at the back she would put her feet and begin to quietly read a paperback novel which she had produced from out of her tunic pocket, with her quickly losing herself within the fantasy world within it's pages.

  Slavic  came overto HArry.. she  had a somewhat cold  sound to her voice,you need a drink or something, or  are  using this for a Library?

 Arnie  shouted...HEY!..she's a Pil....I mean Trooper!..if she wants to play a board  game here ,she can play a board game!... I think you need  some  down  time..Clock out!

 Slavic shook  with watery eyes,I will take  an Hour..i will be back... she trhew her rag at Arnie, that he easily caught, which made her More Angry as she  strommed off the  dec.. a few  of the 'couples   on the other side  whispered and Giggled.

 Harry? you need  anything, or Just looking for  quiet?

Harry would slowly lower the paperback and fix the Nivarian with an equally cool look, her piercing blue eyes boring a hole straight through her. Now whether Arnie knew of Harry’s temper and had decided to intervene before things had a chance to kick off or it had been a simple coincidence wasn’t clear but thankfully for all involved Arnie would send the Nivarian; Slavic, on her break. As the other woman left, Harry would visibly calm down as she picked her book back up ”Quiet time mainly, I’ll probably buy a drink in a bit…I may buy your new friend one too, she looks like she’s having a bad day…though you may want to warn her about my temper” Harry quietly responded, offering the barman a bit of a smile before settling back down.

  Arnie Chuckled,there are very few  folks  i warned others  about. Temper is somethign that need reigned in, Unless there is something serious?.. I didn't see anything serious. I do know  she's   Nivarian Infantry though, she had a back round in Mixology, so that's why she is here.... If Beta....

 he stopped  a bit then pushed through,If Beta  would still be here, you wouldn't have had to worry.... Just wave  or hollar when  you need something.

Billie nodded as she watched Arnie refill his drink when Harry had entered. Admittedly, she was surprised to see the former pilot but she wasn't going to go out of her way to try and chat. She had gotten on very well with her at one point...and Billie had even considered her a friend but it all changed during that battle. With a mental shrug, she watched the interaction between Harry, Arnie, and Slavic, that concern only growing. With a frown, she sent a quick COM to Roy before returning her attention to Arnie.
