Hey, two of them have knocked me down below half...  ^_^  That's purty impressive all on its own.

The problem with trying to qualify for a prestige class is the hit one takes to one's saves (unless one is switching classes between Monk, Paladin, and/or Ranger, in which case one is probably laughing).  None of the classes I've entered, including the Prestige Class, have had good Reflex saves.

*coughs*  ...they haven't had good Will saves either, really.  Iron Will ALMOST puts that on a par with my Reflex save.

My lowest save is my Will save, and that comes in at +20.  Oh, and top of that, I have spell resistance, too. :)

I'm sure the magic items help as well.  :)  Resistance seems to be your thing!

My base is 11/5/5.  After everything is taken into account they go to 22/21/20.  Spell resistance is granted to me by my weapon, but it is relatively minor at 12, I think, but still better than nothing.

You must have some really good bonuses.  My base is 11/3/3, and I'm nowhere NEAR yours except in Fortitude.  :D

Paladins with high charisma and even a bit of resistance gear get pretty scary saves.

Hmmmm. Given the time and supplies. Would it be possible for jancus to build platemail armors that could have things like blast shields, and other doohickeys to reduce elemental/AoE damages?

Or perhaps put springs on the bottom of my (already nimble) boots to allow me to get out of dodge?  :D

Would you want that Dominated attacking you? Remember, that's just attacking! It gets far, far, far worse the moment I start fighting defensively.

A good GM has ways of making anyone suffer. The best of them seldom have to do with hit points or saving throws.

You're kidding, right?  :)  Dominated players - that sort of thing is awesome drama, if one doesn't mind one's character 'losing' to another player.  I don't.  ^_^

Goodness, no, disagreement here.  :)  Bron-Bron knows that.  ^_^  True misery is independant of math (save for those who hate studying it).

I'm going to see what I can do about moving combat forward tomorrow, even though I'm a bit short on player posts. I don't care if I have to drag you kicking and screaming across the boulders and snow and prairie grass, you'll get to your next destination. No later than June, hopefully.

I wanted to apologize for not posting. I'll be honest, I can't get myself set back into game these days. With all the delays and everything for so long, I've totally lost Sari in my head. I have no handle on her any longer, no clue what she even can do these days, nothing.

I love you guys and love playing with you all, but I just can't get back into Sari no matter how hard I try.

So I'll still be reading along and if anything new happens I'd love to play, but I just can't get behind Sari these days.
