Nolan shook his head upon hearing what Silver had to say and walked over to the hole and pulled out a scroll,

I'm getting really tired of that man, if you want to call him that.

Nolan reads the scroll and points his finger down the stairs as a massive Lightning bolt streaks down through the undead.

Even dodging the creature's bite, Myarra still gets raked across the stomach, which does improve her mood.  "Я только что о вас достаточно! Die вам мерзкую кусок дерьма!"

Combining all her strength, eight pounds of magic hardened steel with a razor sharp edge, and a lot of pent up anger, she does everything in her power to turn the troll into guacamole.

Francis made sure none of the Trolls were going to try and flee the scene, now that they were trapped in the room. Nox and Myarra were decimating their troll while the Lizard-Rager was bashing his to death. If they made a move to flee, Francis was ready with his Sabre.

Round 3 results----------

Lennox takes out the wobbling Troll B with a riposte, but he can already see the monster starting to regenerate, so he calls for the fire to take out the Troll permanently. Francis stands by to make sure none of the Trolls tries to flee the area and stabs the downed troll in the head as Amara was about to cast a spell, but seeing Troll B down, she aborts. Troll A attacks Tursk and manages a nice claw attack across the Lizardman's leg. Myarra charges in on Troll A and practically chops the Troll in half, from head to stomach, on her first swing and finishes the job with her second swing. Everyone in the area of Troll A is covered in Troll blood and guts. After Silver came back from the stairway going down and mentioning possible undead, Nolan rolled his eyes, pulled out a scroll and walked to the top of the stairs and cast a Lightning Bolt down it! Tursk continued his attack and smashed the Troll's head into goo to add to what Myarra already did. Piebald and Aliana start the fire and the troll bodies are gathered and lit up. They won't be regenerating now.

The fight is over for now as nothing else comes up the stairs....

Tursk calms down and sits next to his kind in the corner.

Amara quickly moves over to where Nolan is to back the man up after she saw that the Trolls were taken care of. Only the Gods knew what might come up the stairs now as she pulled out a Wand.

"Well done-- Forward the momentum." Nox laughs, leading the way down the stairs towards whichever of Culver's monstrocities might still stand.

"They're probably waiting for us after what Nolan just did." Silver said to Lennox "You want to run down there into a possible ambush? I'm anxious to get out of here as well, but not that anxious."

"Getting out of here? Stopping them is our objective... " Nox reminds over his shoulder, undaunted by the danger ahead. "Ambush or not, trap or not, we have no idea if there are other methods of egress by which they may yet escape with whatever they seek here-- I'm going down there."

"Aye, let's get this mess done. I'm tired of these Cultists." Piebald said as he followed Nox out the door

It's just another area where they held special books and some old relics. Nothing to be overly concerned about, but I do find it strange that these Cultists think there is something down here and that in return is making me wonder what they know. Let's go down there and see. Myarra? Nox? You two take the lead?

Nox has already assumed a point position, not having stopped in his advance to reply or await feedback before moving cautiously down the stairs with his sword at the ready.

Walking slowly down the stairs and stabbing a few zombie bodies that moved, Nox, followed by Myarra, Piebald and Francis, slowly make their way down the old dirty stairs. Once past the "dead" undead, hand signals are given to the rest of the crew above to slowly follow down. The air down here is old and dry, which makes the spell-users smile. At the bottom of the stairs, the group comes upon what appears to be an old, abandoned section of the library. Well, not abandoned. Just rediscovered after the cave-in was cleared out by the Lizard-folk slaves. The area is lit by several Continual Light torches that light up the area quite nicely to see the group of zombies in front of you. Off in the distance, the group sees Commander Baal, Father Bache and 3 Trolls fighting a "ghostly" figure. Culver is nowhere to be seen, which the group is used to now. Tursk is recovering from his Rage and protecting his kind.

Commander Baal notices the party first as they climbed down the last steps. At first, he saw Lennox and Piebald, then he saw Francis and others he didn't know.

"Well, well. What do we have here?" Commander Baal asked "You two switch sides on us?"

Father Bache was focusing on fighting the undead guarding the area and didn't know what Baal was saying at the moment, until he too saw the mixed party at the stairway.

"Culver. Fireball those fools!" the priest yelled before going back to the Trolls "You three. Keep at it! Spectres can't kill you!"

"Yes, we joined the correct side. It just took some time for the rest to get here. Now, stop what you're doing and leave this place. This is the Lizard-folk home. You are not welcome here."

Piebald has his bow out and it's ready to shoot anything, but it is targeted at the zombies currently.

"We have you surrounded." Francis said "Your Trolls outside and the two inside are dead. Your foot soldiers are dead. Culver's zombies will last only seconds. Your Dragon flew away." 

Francis has his sabre out and is ready to charge on in.

"Baal is mine." Nox states grimly as soon as the Commander comes into view to whichever allies were close enough behind him to hear.

Nox advances with determination towards Baal, steering clear of any foes between them. He snorts at Baal's question, finding it unworthy of response. If The Commander were dumb enough to think they'd 'switched' sides rather than were the successful spies that they were.. Then the folly was his to die with unenlightened. With blade gripped readily, he engages him silently and professionally. Baal might not be impressing him intellectually, but he knew him to be more than worthy martially..

Silver gently made his way to the side past people on the stairs to get a good view of the fight. He had his crossbow loaded and ready to go, but his worries were with the spectres that might be wandering around.

Having wiped as much troll guts out of her face as she can manage, and having stuffed/tied rags into and around the worst of her wounds, Myarra joins the others trooping down the stairs.  "I hope this troll crap doesn't give me some kind of disease. What in the hells is wrong with them?  Freaking unnatural if you ask me."

Emerging with the rest at the bottom, she watches as the new folks trade witty banter with the villains.  Ripping another strip from the bottom of her shirt, she ties it around her arm, from which blood continues to drip.  "Another bloody outfit I'm going to have to burn." she grumbles.

Not knowing where the demonic wizard might be hiding, she moves forward and around the pillars to the right, hoping that there wouldn't be a big enough clump of them to make it worth the wizard's time to simply blast them all.

"This land doesn't belong to any of us and the Lizardfolk have been attacking caravans for years, so who cares if we kicked them out of this place?" Baal asked the group "What gives you the right to attack us? We're adventurers just like you. Sure, we have allies that are normally assumed to be bad, but so do you!"

The problem with what you're saying is the fact that you still do bad, while we do good. You kill, maim and banish while we would have asked to come into this place. The Lizardfolk know this place used to belong to humans and elves long ago and for the right price, I'm sure you could have gotten them to agree to search around. Now, we are your punishment for what you have done.

Nolan goes invisible.

While Nolan was smart to disappear, Amara knows that this is one of their few chances to take the casters by surprise - after this, there will be clashing metal and flashing fire, in all liklihood. Her chance to do the most is now.

So she did not move.

Instead, she began to speak in the language of the Underdark.

Round 1 results----------

The Dragon Cultists and the adventuring group converse with each other as Myarra quickly moves  forward and around a pillar after hearing Bache speak of a Fireball. Lennox moves  straight towards Commander Baal with determination in his eyes as Troll 3 and 2 claw at the ghost. Commander Baal sees Nox move forward and decides to engage with the traitor. He blocks Nox's blow with skill and in turn his sword swipe is blocked by Nox. Piebald rapidly shoots two arrows and drops Zombie-4 as Nolan goes Invisible. Troll 1 continues to attack the Ghost and Bache casts a spell, but Nox fights to not become paralyzed. Bache is upset that his spell failed. Francis moves in on the zombies to cover Piebald so he could continue shooting with his bow, as the Ghost attacks Troll-3. Silver moves in and stands next to Piebald and fires his crossbow and hits Zombie-6. Amara casts a spell and suddenly the Trolls, Bache and Baal are quiet as Aliana makes it down the stairs to take in the situation. Bache throws a fit when he realizes he's been silenced and no Fireballs are cast by Culver, but so far, the group hasn't even seen him.

Undeterred by his intial assault being deftly deflected, Nox presses the attack...

Moving forward (to W26) Aliana put her holy symbol forward.
"Go Back, Undead Filth!!!  Go back to your moldering graves where you belong!!"
She focused her holy might on the zombies.
