Re: 1372: The Year of Wild Magic: Day 191-196
Kali, silent most of teh conversation, listens to the two talk with a smile on her face. Byron and amos were more akin to an uncle and nephew relationship than traders, and Kali knew well enough that any gear that he got would come here to the man. The woman absently drew the scimitar and looked at it as the two talked, still awe inspired by the feel and look. She smiled and resheathed it and when byron and Amos had a break the druid stepped up.
"I am truely sorry for your friend....with his release he will find the peace he deserves. As for releasing the debt, the way i see it is i have a new one....to fulfill the tasks your friend had in protecting the balance of life, and on my life as long as i have this blade, i will honor your friend and my fallen brother."
Upon impulse, the little druid skipped up and hugged the man with a brief but warm hug. when she disengaged, she had a smile on her face. "...and, like Byron, anything i gain that will not be needed, i will bring here also."
She looked at byron warmly, dropping her gaze with a slight tinge in her cheeks.
In truth she never expected the debt to be liquified so quickly....to do so showed the man's character and heart, and that was something the druid would not forget.
....she understood now where Byron got his warm heart.
She looked at the man. "And if you ever need anytrhing of me, you need only ask Amos"
