Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone.  I want to take this time to thank each and everyone of you in this game.  I greatly enjoy the range and depth of the characters and the way you guys and gals bring them to life in my head.  Yes Twiggy, that even includes you. lmao.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season filled with lots of joy and love.  Thank you all again for accepting me into this game and helping me have fun with a game I have enjoyed for almost 40 years.

I know I entered the game much later than all of you, but I'm glad that I did. I really enjoy this game, even though we're getting our butts kicked, and I enjoy reading the stories in the posts that make this game great. Thank you all and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

It's great to be able to work as part of a dedicated team.  That said, depending on what the tree does to us, running away may very well be the best course of action.  BB hasn't exactly been subtle with his hints on how dangerous this is.

I think it is time to leave.  Just how do we tell Lorrik to leave at the same time?

Lorrik is back at the camp where we left the horses.  It's "relatively" safe.  If we can get back there, we can pick him up, regroup and come back some day when we're more powerful or have researched what we need to win.

If Nolan can get the waystone working, some of us can get out that way.  Personally, I'm going to try to fly back to Lorrik.  I just can't leave him to die in the wilderness.

Anybody else that can fly, or someone small that I can carry can come with me.  I'm not sure what Amara or Kalli have left to help get anyone else out.

And all of this assumes that we survive the next round.

My Christmas wish is that Byron and Myarra chop the damn thing down and there is much rejoicing.   That's not the way I'd bet, however.

I would like to Thank all of you for staying with me for my/your game. I really enjoy this game, even though I'm kicking your asses, and if you all survive this, I have years worth of material waiting for you all. I can't believe that this game has been around for almost 8 years and hope for many more.

How are we doing with the tree.  Just a few cracks?  Chopped half-way through the trunk?

I "might" be able to take one more set of attacks from it, but I need to know if we even have a chance, or if now is the time to retreat.

And if it's time to retreat, how are we going to do it?  Can we just plain run away and worry about getting over the wall once we're out of range?

I can carry one person over the wall.  Can anyone else get over it?

Who can use the waystone?  I hate breaking the party up, but it's looking like a necessity.

It's time to go now.  We are going to have to do some research before we come back.  Kali and I need to have a very serious chat with Amos.  I'm wondering if Hans could help us too.
