That sounds like a plan.

Some sanity will need to be applied here but as we're not going to be under threat or distraction, Amara should be able to just "Take 10".

She'll succeed every time and be able to do the entire job in one day.

However ...

Normally you can work for 8 hours per day, but 8 hours of continuous lyre playing? Sounds a bit far-fetched even to me.

As usual, the rules and any sense of reality don't align.

Yeah, I was just assuming I couldn't take 10 on a magic instrument, but re-reading it - it doesn't say anything like that.

Again, I think it's a GM call. Certainly I would think it couldn't be more than 8 hours.

Since it's a Magical Item stating what kind of roll you're going to need, I'm going to say that you're going to have to roll like it says. Sure, you may not have any distractions, but nobody is perfect and with time, people will falter.

Even so, assuming the dice roller doesn't hate me, should be a couple hours of playing...

The first time Nolan and I met was when Mystra teleported a bunch of us into the forest to join "the resistance" which was trying to free Daak from the forces of the Medusa.

Nolan was not the least bit intimidated.

His first action was to get up in my face and start looking me over like some kind of exciting new lab specimen.

It was a little creepy.  I was wondering if I was going to have to slap him.

Fortunately, he kept his hands to himself and we managed to work it out after a while.

Aliana isn't Intimidated.  Well, at least not much.   She thinks Myarra is beautiful and wondrous
