1372: The Year of Wild Magic: Day 244

So, Amara leads Dwight up the road and back to the party. A couple of them give looks of disapproval with the horses that Dwight brought along as they continue to have their lunch.

In reply to Big Boss (msg # 1):

Byron just shrugs his shoulders.  He knows that he unintentionally brought more trouble to Dwight than the guy deserves.  He also knows that even if he killed the one idiot attacking him right in front of Centauri it would make no difference in whatever is going to happen next.

Roen looked over Dwight,

"Looks like your wounds healed up nicely. I'm glad you decided to leave that place after Twiggy here filled you in on what was happening. But, I'm hoping trouble doesn't follow us over the horses we left behind that you decided to take. We did that so those ruffians wouldn't come after us after we left this morning."

Dwight seemed to be a bit embarrassed that somebody was paying such close attention to him and ignored the comments about his well being. But, when it came to the horses, he spoke quickly,

"Like I was saying to her before," Dwight pointed to Amara "Those DipS***s won't go to Soubar and nobody is going to care about some murdering piece of S**t or his horse. So, I see it as payment to me for losing my property."

Byron turns to look at Roen.

Let it go Roen,  If I hadn't been there when you guys broke up the fight between the first group of idiots and Dwight he might not be in this position now.  My presence there is just as much responsible for him losing the farm as his own past deeds are.

Byron turns to Dwight and continues in his calm voice.

There are just fights and then there are garbage fights.  The first one you were in falls in to the I don't know which category.  The second one you got caught up in falls into the second category.  The only chance they would have against us is for all of us to have been asleep when they decided to try and burn down the barn.   I'm not going to hold your past against you because you can see for yourself how others who are considered to be bad or evil aren't.  So keep that in mind as you try to start a new life.
