Consider the location of the following swarms:

Swarm 1: Gone
Swarm 2: I16-J17 (Right on Maria)
Swarm 3: Gone
Swarm 4: Burned to final death
Swarm 5: M16-N17 (Right on Aeron)

X'norgun steps away from the swarm and finally unleashes a blazing fire from his mouth. The intense heat burns any trace of the flies that engulfed him moments ago.
Lesser Worldmaster, on behalf of X'norgun, rolled 24 using 6d8. Breath Damage Fire.

The bridgeburners, now free from the horrors of the swarms, focus on the task done. Two of them, those who are behind Weston and Brightmane, throw two flasks to the ghouls but both of them use their arms to block them and throw them away. With that move, one of the flasks hit the giant that didn't suspect that he would be damaged at this point. Even more, some of the fire even hits the ghoul that deflected the attack.

Lesser Worldmaster rolled 10 using 1d20+5. Bridgeburners attack roll.
Lesser Worldmaster rolled 4 using 1d8. Fail. Direction of the attacks.
Lesser Worldmaster rolled 3 using 1d6. Fire damage on giant.

Another Bridgeburner charge against GH4, his sword penetrating the chest of the undead and cutting almost in half. The ghoul sees the bridgeburner with great rage before turning to dust
Lesser Worldmaster rolled 21 using 1d20+7. B31 Charge attack against GH4.
Lesser Worldmaster rolled 11 using 1d8+4. damage * 2. +8=30

Re: In the church

Ezourer quickly advances to where the main fight is. His best bet at this moment is to heal a man that belongs to an army that he was sent to fight. The ironies of life.

When he is at range the healer recites a pray and a pulse of life energy is shot from his palm to the back of the soldier of the Union Empire.

And then, he notices something important.
"The giant is not dead! And the walking corpses are not ghouls but Ghasts!"

OOC:

Swarm 1: Gone
Swarm 2: L18 (Transformed in a ghast)
Swarm 3: Gone
Swarm 4: Burned to final death
Swarm 5: M16-N17 (Right on Aeron)

The ray of positive energy hits Weston's back, making his wounds mend a little.
OOC: Aeron now has 18 hp and has a Sanctuary effect.

Brightmane's attack misses the weak spot in the giant's thick and rocky skin. He looks at the leader of the Zarusian forces at her eyes, trying to measure the divine power she wielded seconds ago. When she turns to run to the healer, the giant sees an opportunity

Lesser Worldmaster rolled 42 using 1d20+29. Giant's AoO.
Lesser Worldmaster rolled 27 using 2d8+15. AoO Damage against Maria.
Maria is -9 HP.

In that moment, the Buomman turns to see the Zarusian crusader fall, victim of the gruesome wound on her back. She directs her hand to her direction, using all her power to save her life. She tries to reach her, but she can't and decides to heal the giant human that is fighting at her side.

Immediate: Manifests From the Brink to Maria Brightmane.
Maria is now -5 HP and stabilized.
Move Move to M15
Standard: Cast Cure Medium Wounds on Aeron
Lesser Worldmaster, on behalf of Diooum, rolled 20 using 2d8+9. Cure Moderate Wounds on Weston.
Aeron is now 38 hp

The Zarusian soldiers see in shock their leader falling in front of the Giant. One of them, Z2, disregards any danger to his own health and rushes to save her, grabing her body and pushing it outside of the Giant's reach.
Other try to attack at least the ghasts, but they fail to do so.
Lesser Worldmaster rolled 14 using 1d20+5. Zarusian Soldiers attack.

Then Mitran's word of power can be heard and a blazing ball of fire detonates sending a pack of undead to the air. Another line of fire is shot from the roof, presumably by Glasenter, incinerating other undeads.

"PROTECT ME!" The giant barks to the ghasts and then he turns around and begins to run, knowing fully well that the ghasts are bound to interpose between him and any attack. Even more, one of the swarms transforms to a ghast and prepares for the upcoming fight. The ghasts now attack their nearest opponent, severing punishing the Zarusian soldier that attacked them and paralysing him, while they simply can't even touch Weston

Lesser Worldmaster rolled 7 using 1d20+5. Ghast's bite attack.
Lesser Worldmaster rolled 18 using 1d20+3. Ghasts Claw attack 1.
Lesser Worldmaster rolled 5 using 1d4+1. Claw 1 Damage.
Lesser Worldmaster rolled 5 using 1d20+3. Ghasts Claw attack 2.
Lesser Worldmaster rolled 14 using 1d20+6. Will save to attack Aeron.

Lesser Worldmaster rolled 7 using 1d20+4. Fortitude save Vs Paralysis.

And as the giant tries to abandon the battlefield, Aeron can see an opportunity to strike him.

Aeron, you can make an AoO to the Giant. He is withdrawing but you have reach. Have in mind that the ghasts between you and him provides soft cover, though. After that, fell free to begin your turn.

Aeron's sword hits the skin of the giant, but not with enough force to make any damage on his body, mostly because the ghouls between them makes difficult to reach him properly

Re: In the church

Aeron's greatsword greatly diminishes injures the swarm-transforming ghast in front of him, even when the first attack wasn't successful.

X'norgun quickly advances into the sight and unleashes a line of fire to SW2, finishing Aeron's work

Lesser Worldmaster, on behalf of X'norgun, rolled 24 using 1d20+5. Line of fire attack to SW2.
Lesser Worldmaster, on behalf of X'norgun, rolled 17 using 3d6. Fire damage.

Then the bridgeburners literally charges against the remaining ghasts. One of them is lucky enough to dodge every attack, the other two receive full damage and are destroyed.

21:40, Today: Lesser Worldmaster rolled 7 using 1d20+4. Bridgeburners attack!
21:41, Today: Lesser Worldmaster rolled 15 using 1d20. Bridgburners attack GH2. (Forgot the +4)
21:41, Today: Lesser Worldmaster rolled 22 using 1d20+4. Bridgburners attack GH3.
21:42, Today: Lesser Worldmaster rolled 6 using 1d6+2. damage.

Re: In the church

The remaining undead abandon the church, escaping through the window and the door.
Some of the Bridgeburners and the Zarusian soldiers let themselves fall on the ground. The group almost died but at the end they were able to survive and the undead seems to be retiring.

Glasenter and Mitran goes down the ladder.
"People is coming here. Real people, not undead. Make some room."

"They are carrying the banner of the Unity Empire!" Mitran's voice is enthusiast. After all, more people means more opportunity to survive the undead town.

Soon after that, fourteen men enters the church... with several degrees of desperation.

"Please help us! We were sent to fight against the undead... But only we remain from our entire company!"
They are all wounded. Some more, some less. The one who speaks shows a breastplate full of dents.

"Come on, you have heard the Corporal."
Ezourer claps his hands, urging the rest of the Bridgeburners to obbey the order. "I want two groups. One with the people that has been hurt by the undead, and other with those who are lucky."

When the newcomers arrive, Ezourer quickly inspects the soldiers of the Empire. "Rest here. Rest now because I don't know when the undead will come to finnish what they started. I am inspecting the wounds of my platoon. You can wait and I will inspect yours too."

He follows Ezourer's lead and sees Aeron. The soldier doubts for a few seconds and then indicates the others to follow Ezourer, while he approached the knight.

"Excuse me... but do you fight for the Union Empire too?"

In the meantime, Dioumm continues casting her healing magic and finally Maria awakens, still injured but now conscious.

Re: In the church

Lady Maria, who had been knocked out by the giant and was dying until stabilisized had remained unconcious until Dioumm healed her. She groans and her shimmering green eyes flutter open and asks; "Uuhh, my back....how the fight ended?" While told how fight roughly went after she passed out she was healed by adept of Zarus, or more correctly said adept of Astra, Zaru's wife who never did ascend to divinity like her mate did but she is revered among Zarus acolytes as kind caretaker of humanity and merciful goddess where Zarus is unforgiving one.

Lady Maria hears then Union company has made appearance, she climbs up from the ground and says to adept; "Check for my soldiers condittion, I will go check what the Union folks are about." Lady Maria then looks on Dioumm and says; "Thanks for the healing, you would be welcome addition to sons and daugthers of Zarus if your willing to join us." After getting reply from Dioumm Lady Maria then proceeds outside the building to check Union soldiers and their overall condittion.

Glasenter just stands a few feet away from Maria, with his arms crossed, looking at the newcomers. "Here is a hint, Brightmane. You are alive."
Dioumm hears Maria's proposition and she simply smiles and shakes her head, slowly stepping back to help those who are still injured.

"The rest of us were... converted to undead. Do you have any more men in charge? Can we join you? We don't know what to do." The soldier's plea to Aeron seems a little desperate for a soldier serving the Empire. Then again, noone knows what he may have seen.

"Then I will traspass the command of the unit to you, Sir. What is your name?" The soldier awaits for the answer, surely to communicate the news to the other survivor.

Ezourer spends all his spells in curing the Bridgeburners and tend to the wounded so they don't catch Ghoul Fever (He already has a mod of 14 in his heal check, and the DC is 15)

In the meantime, Jarquil, one of the Bridgeburners, run to his corporal.
"Glasenter! You won't believe what I found! Gold and jewels! There is a mechanism behind the altar and when I used it, a small doos opened!"

The kobold shows a fistful of golden coins to those gathered around him.

OOC: You can investigate. No traps found. If you want, you can make an appraise check to know the value of the items found (five chalices, a plate with sunrays, and a golden holy symbol, along lots of coins, several denominations.)

The soldier nods. "Sir Aeron." and after a swift bow he goes to the group, to tell the others that they have a new leader.

In the meantime, Glasenter hurries to study the gold. After some minutes, he calls for the factions to gather.
"This is without a doubt religious intruments of this church. And this must have been a wealthy one. There are gold and gems too. They should have thought that they were going to live." He chuckles and shrugs his shoulders.

"In any case, I am pretty sure that we will be able to make a better use for them."
With that, Glasenter begins to give gold to each faction. Once he finishes, he discuss the matter of the watch with the other leaders.

"It has been a very long day. We should rest for at least twelve hourse if we want our soldiers to fight at the best condition possible. We can make the first watch of four hours."

Outside, the night is calm and cold. A silence, as unnatural as those who are the masters of this town, fills the air. Quite a contrast with the whispers and the weak light of a torch or spell that helps the duty of those who heal inside.

Lady Maria quirks her eye brow for what Glasenter said about being alive. Unsure what he exactly meant she does not comment on it. Seeing the soldiers are from Unity and they rapidly gather under Aeron's banner. Then everyone's attention was on loot found in the temple hidden storage, she was present for the sharings. Once gold was shared with folks she asked from other faction leaders; "So, shall we split watch shifts based on invinduals picked from each army or does each faction take over certain schelude? Also should we build fortifications and take longer rest here? Also considering it's unkwon will be there wood or other supplies ahead should we construct some siege weapons what we can use once we reach city of Pale."
