In reply to Shorty (msg # 210):

Warwick chuckles.  "Aye, lad, I'm sure they do.  But people get attached to them, so it's not always a good idea.  If ye want to bring her a horse, why don't we swing by the stables and buy one?"

Dualis: "Well, yes, not a problem.  It's just in town.  Just say 'Teke' to return or you can walk back."

[POP]

Shorty and Warwick find themselves outside of a stable in Calator.  Several people give you a wide berth as you popped into their path.  The front of the shop is a small smitty and someone is making a horseshoe, he looks at you.

"You sirs must be an awful hurry to be poppin in like that.  What can I do you for?"

Re: Delith: The Beginning

In reply to Ron, The DM (msg # 218):

"Nah, we ain't evil.  But, why is it barbaric?  Just choose a horse that can't be used for stud services and isn't fit to be ridden.  As long as it's not sickly, it should be a fine offering to give to a dragon.  We're supposed to give gifts to the dragon before engaging in negotiations with it.  Shorty believes that giving the dragon a good meal is a fine way to get on its good side.  'Cause, believe me lad, we don't want to get on its bad side."

Warwick shows his holy symbol.  "I'm a warrior-priest of Reorx.  He don't let dwarves that are evil worship him.  If that don't convince ye, perhaps we can get someone from the palace to vouch for us."

The man takes the coins, "Thank ye."  He goes to retrieve Ole Crayon, the horse he returns with is a chestnut colored horse.  It does limp a bit but it looks to have been a strong horse, he hands you the reins.  "Here ya go sir."
