'I believe Dualis got us as close as we could get via teleportation.   We'll need to walk from here but he did warn that we might run into problems just getting there, so we need to stay alert.'

In reply to Aztar (msg # 16):

"Right then.  Shorty, ye want to take the lead?  I'll trail the group, just in case something tries to sneak up from behind.  The rest of ye, stick together in between."

An invisible Trysk offers, "Let me know if you want me to do some aerial reconnaissance.  Otherwise, I'm happy to stay here in the middle."

Re: Delith:Move out

Aztar looks directly at Tyrsk and shakes his head, 'I don't think we need you to scout right now.  We don't have that far to go and should be fine just keeping our eyes open.'

Re: Delith:Move out

In reply to Warwick (msg # 21):

The group starts walking down the road at a casual pace, keeping an eye out for any danger as well as getting accustomed to the environment. After about 50' you come across buildings with signage, The Wydman Suites, Full Tankard Bar, Gold Lane Inn and Bar, Adventurer's Rest ... mostly inns and bars probably for the next couple of hundred feet at least.  It appears after every second building on either side is a small side street.  As you continue forward you do notice there seems to be a little off visually just up ahead, a shimmer or sheen, similar to what you see just above the surface of sand or rock on a hot sunny day; but this one extends up for at least 50 feet as the effect seems to fade.  You have walked about 100'.

In reply to Morteft (msg # 25):

"Aye, but cautiously, okay?" suggest Warwick as he rises into the air about 5 feet and floats along behind the group.  Every so often, he turns around to check to make sure nothing is sneaking up from behind.

OOC - Can Trysk tell what type of magic?

BIC - Trysk says warily, "Perhaps we should give it a wide berth."

'Ah, sorry.  We haven't had a new member travel with us In some time.  Silver is my sword and companion.  He has an uncanny range of abilities as far as detection and location go and is a very valuable ally of mine.'

In reply to Aztar (msg # 31):

Beyond the shimmer you can make out a few more signs on buildings, The Magic Missile Club, Sage Advice, Potions and Things, Holy Words.  The buildings look to be in excellent shape and there are more beyond.

Shorty casually reaches into his belt and pulls out a throwing stone.  He throws it at the shimmer to see what happens.

Aztar also walks into the field, but doesn't seem the slightest bit worried as he walks into it.

Re: Delith:Move out

In reply to Aztar (msg # 39):

Same as the stone, you all pass thru without incident.  The air looks clear now, no shimmer.  Looking back you see no shimmer as well, actually it is just gray, as in nothing but gray, no shapes, like looking at a canvas.

The road continues straight toward the tower.
