Re: Delith:Move out

Aztar is curious enough to stick his hand back through the barrier just to make sure the group can exit again and that e entire area wasn't a trap.

Morteft says, "This seems like a mythal in form. Let me try something."

He will try to teleport 10 feet down the road using the amulet.

Re: Delith:Move out

In reply to Morteft (msg # 44):

Nothing really happens, Morteft does feel a little strange, perhaps similar to being attached to a rope, running and then the rope being pulled back suddenly with great force.

In reply to Ron, The DM (msg # 47):

Morteft says, "I suppose we are in it now. I thought it would be a building not an entire section of the city. That makes it more interesting to me."

'We are heading to the building, but the area around it is protected as well.  Since we've been warned we might encounter trouble even just getting there, it might be worth looking around a bit before heading there.'

Morteft laughs and says, "That is right, Shorty, but that is what we adventurers do, isn't it? We might find something that is useful in the main building and, more importantly, something useful in the war against set."

'I wasn't meaning to imply a survey of the city.  Just checking buildings from here to the vault to make sure no one is waiting to ambush us.   I'm definitely not advocating a tour of the city, just a cautious approach to our destination.'

Re: Delith:Move out

In reply to Morteft (msg # 55):

You begin to move forward and you get to the set of buildings you saw.  They all look in excellent shape, no sign of decay.  In fact they look quite well kept.  All the doors are shut, some made of wood, others metal.  Only one of the buildings has a window - Potions and Things.  Looking thru the window you can see shelves with bottles, a counter, some bottles on a table at the window, filled with eyes, bats wings, a dark liquid, a small squid.
Then some movement in the back near the counter catches your eyes, it was slight.

Re: Delith:Move out

Aztar raises and eyebrow and looks curious at Morteft whe he makes the comment,'Yes.  This is precisely what I was suggesting.  If there are possible threats, it's best to deal with them now.   Though I wouldn't go touching things in the shops unless we can be certain there won't be consequences.  There has to be a reason this place hasn't been disturbed'

Pondering his voice echoing in the underground chamber he adds telepathically, *I also suggest we speak via the amulets so as to not give anything else away regarding our plans.*

Shorty sighs at all the commotion and walks up and knocks on the door.  He seems to be muttering to Himself about someone already knowing we are here.
