In reply to Ron, The DM (msg # 202):

Morteft says, "It sounds very big. I say we go ahead and take it out. I expect we will have to face it eventually. Let's do it while we are stronger. If it is too tough, we can flee."

Re: Delith: A maze

Aztar looks to the group wondering if they remember the info we learned about the labyrinth, 'you do recall that this place will continually regenerate guardians and only one of them will have the key we need.'

'But, very we'll.  we'll fight this one and hope it doesn't have the key since we aren't ready for it yet.'

Aztar  stands a step behind Warwick, 'if it is a golem, float up so that we can all three engage.  This staff seemed to be a very useful item against golems.'

Re: Delith: A maze

'The key will only exist for an hour once we defeat the proper golem.  So, if we don't know where the door is, getting the key one will most likely result in us needing to fight more golems later to re find the key.'

Looking up at Warwick, 'I'm not certain everything in here is a golem, so if whatever this is isn't a golem, then I won't be of much help as the staff is specifically powered against golems'

'Whatever it is, it's certainly sounds quite large and slow.  I'm guessing each golem must have unique properties which could present interesting challenges.'

Re: Delith: A maze

In reply to Morteft (msg # 218):

You can go back to the other two options, all the way back to the beginning continuing that way or the other corridor just before it.

If you continue your go right first, it would be the corridor just before the one that goes back to the beginning.

Re: Delith: A maze

Aztar stands silently as Morteft. Investigates the hallway and advises pulling back.  He watches the others to see their reaction and the quietly follows the wizard as he withdrawls from the hall.

He makes mental notes, picks up the stone at the corner to make a small mark on it and then continues.

Re: Delith: A maze

In reply to Aztar (msg # 222):

You start moving back away from the approaching golem to take a new path.  The new corridor is to your right as you retreat.  You move on for about 20 feet and then turn left.  You go about another 40' to the next intersection where you can go straight or left.  There is also a door just beyond the intersection, straight ahead!

No sound of an approaching golem can be heard.

Re: Delith: A maze

In reply to Trysk (msg # 225):

The door is made of solid adamantium.  There is a lock on the door; but it is an intricate lock.  It appears the lock is more of a puzzle than a lock.  You examine more closely, the lock actually spins, rotates in any direction and is circular.  To open the lock you need to work the puzzle to remove pieces.  However, you also discover a trap, which is related to what you believe is the first part of the puzzle to be removed.
