In reply to Shorty (msg # 77):

Warwick continues to hover above the floor behind them.  He attempts to send a telepathic message back to the rest of the group.  *Can I be of any assistance?*

In reply to Warwick (msg # 78):

Morteft will scan ahead of the group with detect magic to see if the second trigger is magical in nature.

Re: Delith: A maze

In reply to Morteft (msg # 79):

Morteft gets an eyeful of magical aura everywhere, very strong.  There does not seem to be any difference in any direction.  It is even difficult to make out the magical items of your companions, the area is so awash with aura.

Aztar looks around and tries to see if he can pinpoint anything odd, but spotting things had never been his speciality.

Trysk comments, *Of course, it could be that as long as there is weight on the plate, it doesn't go off.  May I suggest that you retreat from this area while I keep weight on this plate.*

'If Trysk thinks there is a second plate, I'd be careful moving down the hallway.  We might be better pulling back and letting him check out the rest of the hallway.'

In reply to Shorty (msg # 88):

Trysk curses, *We should have brought a golem with us.  Shorty, please don't go any further until we figure out the trap we're dealing with.*

Trysk looks to see if Aztar or Shorty are standing on plates, too.

In reply to Trysk (msg # 89):

Shorty takes one step before Trysk calls for him to stop, he has not moved of the 10' square he is on but one more step will put him in a new square.

Trysk examines the 10' square that Aztar is standing on without leaving his own 10' square.  Does it look like Aztar is standing on a plate, too?

Re: Delith: A maze

In reply to Trysk (msg # 97):

Warwick comes down and lands on the plate with Trysk.  Trysk then moves on ahead to where Shorty is and begins to look around.  He is pretty sure that the next trigger is not on any of the plates that Shorty has stepped on yet.  However, he is not to sure about the next plate just beyond.
Trysk is not able to discover the second trigger but his intuition tells him there is one just beyond.  If the second trigger can be found he can disarm the trap.

Trysk shape changes into a hummingbird and flitters forward to the front edge of Shorty's plate and starts examining the next plate.

Re: Delith: A maze

Aztar raises and eyebrow and looks curiously at Tyrsk as he changes into a hummingbird.  He was obviously intrigued by the man's abilities.

Re: Delith: A maze

In reply to Trysk (msg # 99):

Trysk flitters about as a hummingbird around the plate in front of Shorty.  After about a minute he determines that this must be the other trigger; however the disarm point is on the middle edge of the plate, at the wall.  Too far to reach from Shorty's plate.

In reply to Ron, The DM (msg # 101):

OOC - Ron, not sure if you saw my earlier message to you, but does Trysk think Shorty can reach the disarm point?  Also, is it a simple lever or switch?  Or is it complicated to disarm the trap?
