Re: Delith: 'Following' the golem

Aztar sighed a tiny bit but hoped Trysk was onto something to help narrows the doors down.  Turning his attention to the teams rogue, he asked, 'have you found something that will allow us to narrow down the door options?'

Re: Delith: 'Following' the golem

In reply to Aztar (msg # 367):

Trysk goes back to examining the symbols above the 12 doors, "Perhaps once we decipher these symbols, we can determine which door is the one we want.  Rockjaw, can you sense anything different about these doors?"

Trysk tries to determine if there are any minute distinctions between the identical symbols (2 swirly lines around a circle or dot) above the 12 doors.

Re: Delith: 'Following' the golem

Aztar turns to Shorty, "An interesting idea, but I believe with him trapped in the orb, he wouldn't be able to respond."

Aztar moves over to one of the doors and carefully examines the door and the area around it, trying to see if he can determine anything about the mystery.

"I wonder if it requires the use of the amulet and combining our intellects before we can understand the symbols and the method to open the door?"

The symbol is 10' off the ground, above the door, need to fly or levitate to be able to touch.

Seeing his friend reaching for the symbol, Shorty wanders over and gently lifts him up by the waist till he can reach it.

Trysk is able to reach the symbol now.

OOC: I assume you mean Object Reading

A wave of visions pass thru your mind, you almost pass out at the sheer volume of images and emotion.  Your hands go to your head and you utter a grunt.  Your life passed before your eyes.  However, nothing comes to you about the symbol.

There are no visual clues at all about the door or surrounding wall.  Very smooth, very plain in appearance.

In reply to Shorty (msg # 382):

Seletos looks down at Shorty and looks at the glove a moment.  "The glove has been demagicked by a great power.  Only an equal or greater power can restore the magic.  There are few who are and I am not one of them.  Consider, not everything that is useful is beneficial."

Re: Delith: 'Following' the golem

Aztar shrugs, "Matters not to me.  Let me lend my aid for the initial research and we may need to alternate depending on how it affects us."

"I know we were warned that the doors are trapped, so let's just try using the amulets and see if we can make sense of the markings above the door or learn anything else out by meeting the requirements."

Assuming Morteft is willing, Aztar will activate his amulet and attempt to merge with Morteft's amulet though he still wasn't sure what exactly that entailed or how it would affect the two.

Re: Delith: 'Following' the golem

In reply to Morteft (msg # 390):

As you begin the merge process Seletos will get up.

"If indeed you are successful in freeing Rigel it is best for me to not be around.  I shall continue to observe from beyond."

He gets up and then with a effortless leap, flies into the blackness and is gone.  His departure reveals the last door, that is no different than the others.

The symbol above is the third symbol of the third sequence, notes Trysk.
