Delith: The way back

You all feel urgency to leave the Tower of High Magic building and move on back to the are of the city from where you can Teleport.  You exit the foyer and find yourselves back in the main courtyard.  You continue thru the courtyard and exit thru the main gate and are back in the city proper walking down the main street.  Everything looks to be the same as before, except for 1 detail.  There are some golems walking around the streets, stone and iron.  None appear to be aggressive.  You see a total of 3, one iron, two stone.  The nearest is stone and walking toward you.  The other 2 are walking away on the other streets.

'There is a large area around. The tower protected from teleport.  We will need to continue further by foot before we are able to leave.   I'm not sure the golems have any ill will towards us as long as we don't cause any issues in the city.   I recommend continuing to head away from the tower until we're clear of the planar lock.'

Unfortunately Mortefts attempt does not work.  The golems do not seem interested in your group however.

Shorty looks around to get his bearings but the buildings make it difficult for him to get a good idea.  He has not been to this part of the city, except for now.

Continue forward?

You move on from there and the golem passes you without incident.  You travel back down God's Lane, again all is as it was before save for an Iron golem walking around.  It makes no notice of the group.

Joe stops in front of the Temple of Reorx.  "Didn't Warwick say he wanted to pay his respects?"  Joe points at the temple.

OOC:The magic shop is nearby if you would like to look at that again or any of the other shops, the temple section really does not have windows.

Morteft and Shorty look down the street and see some shops just past the temples.

Joe replies to Warwick, "You're welcome."

Warwick flies up to the large iron doors, double, which are unlocked.  He pushes the doors open enough to go through.  It appears to be very dark inside.

The rest of you wait in the street.  The chest 'sits' down.

OOC: I saw a message saying Shorty took the crystal ball (marble) do I was going with that.

You all begin walking toward the edge of the protected zone.  You can make it all the way back without incident. You approach the gray area marking the edge of the zone and you pass thru and are back on the side where teleportation is possible and the rest of the Golden City.  Behind you is the shimmering of the 'wall'.

OOC:  Morteft said Shorty could take it, but don't think Shorty ever did anything other than roll it around on the table.  Anyway, moving on!

As the group clears the teleport field, Aztar sighs and takes a deep breath, almost as if the air was cleaner fresher outside the bubble.  He looks at the group, "I cannot express enough how much I appreciate you all going into that place to help free Rigel.  It certainly was a unique experience.'

"I'm going to return to my manor for some sleep. Is there anything you require from me before I depart?  We will need to return Dualis's items at some point, but I need to empty chest and take inventory before I do that."
