Delith: The way back

In reply to Shorty (msg # 24):

Shorty finds only walls behind the curtains; but a voice does ring out.  "Master Belshazzar is not in at the moment.  If you leave your name and need I shall inform him on his return."

The voice seems to come from all around the room but no one is in sight.

Morteft wanders in and says, "Oh, interesting. I suspect the voice you heard was a magic mouth spell, my friend. It is to keep the locals from leaving while the owner of the store is in the back. However, they are all long gone. If you want, take that marble. It belongs to no one now."

Delith: The way back

In reply to Ron, The DM (msg # 39):

Shorty looks really confused now as the big marble is still on the table.  Not quite in its original spot.  But all he did was roll it back and forth between his hands.  Shorty looks down at the mArble and then to Warwick and finally at the golem.  "Me no gots ball.  Marble be on table.  Me not be takin.  Maybe people hidin n talking gots ball.  Me not know.  Me no finds him."

In reply to Shorty (msg # 41):

"That's good, lad.  I think ye're touching the marble is what has the golem and the voice giving ye warnings.  Or maybe they don't even want us in the shop."  Warwick shrugs.  "Let's get out of here before we break another rule we don't understand."

In reply to Shorty (msg # 41):

The golem begins to move off in another direction.

OOC: I saw a message saying Shorty took the crystal ball (marble) do I was going with that.

You all begin walking toward the edge of the protected zone.  You can make it all the way back without incident. You approach the gray area marking the edge of the zone and you pass thru and are back on the side where teleportation is possible and the rest of the Golden City.  Behind you is the shimmering of the 'wall'.

Actions?

OOC:  Morteft said Shorty could take it, but don't think Shorty ever did anything other than roll it around on the table.  Anyway, moving on!

As the group clears the teleport field, Aztar sighs and takes a deep breath, almost as if the air was cleaner fresher outside the bubble.  He looks at the group, "I cannot express enough how much I appreciate you all going into that place to help free Rigel.  It certainly was a unique experience.'

"I'm going to return to my manor for some sleep. Is there anything you require from me before I depart?  We will need to return Dualis's items at some point, but I need to empty chest and take inventory before I do that."

In reply to Aztar (msg # 44):

Warwick looks closely at Aztar, seeing that the weariness is quite extensive.  "Lad, ye're going to go alone?  Are ye sure ye're in a condition to do that?  I'd feel better if we made sure yer manor was undisturbed before ye went to sleep.  No telling what our foe may have done while we were in there or how much time has passed."

Aztar smiles slightly and nods, "My manor is on a secure interdimensional plane.  Nothing to worry about there.  Tully definitely seemed to know what he was doing when he built the manor.

Plus, I'll let Rigel stretch his wings so I'll have a guardian in any case."
