Trysk nods, "I would like to learn and visit such places, as I was thinking during the battle about teleporting the mage and myself to such a location. There I could either fight the mage at an advantage or use my psionics to teleport out."

"Interesting idea" Dualis remarks to Trysk "One thing however, you would not be able to teleport into a magic free zone as you still need the magic to complete the transport.  You might be bounced nearby, return to your original spot, perhaps a distant spot or connected plane."  he shrugs "Of course you could Teleport next to it and then jump in."  He then pats the short sword hanging in its scabbard from his belt.

"Now the place, well the place is definitely out of the way and difficult to get to.  Actually I am not even sure what lurks about anymore."  he rubs his chin  "I should probably check on it .. I will have to make a note."  he muses.

Warwick holds up a hand.  "Ye're right lad.  Me apologies.  Got too excited over the possibilities and I suggested ye take the helm.  Let's focus on yer coronation and we'll deal with all this later."

"Ah, yes, you do have that skill." Dualis responds "Well then, it is located in the Assassins Guild HQ.  We can talk of this later.  For now we shall get ready for the ceremony."

Then a low rumble like the sound of distant thunder can be heard.  Dualis says, "I believe the Coronation Festival is about to begin." looking toward the sage "Sir Joshua, you will get a much better view from your seat."

"Right, indeed." responds Sir Joshua as he turns and heads in to the mist.

Dualis mentions to Trinny "Trinny, you may as well join him."

"Yes, of course."  She starts to go, gives Trysk a wink and moves on after Sir Joshua.

Dualis turns to the rest of you.  "OK, it is time to get ready for the ceremony.  A quick rundown of the procedure.  When the mist lifts then Know-Man, Kaine and I will lead the procession.  Followed by Shorty and then the rest of you, a 3-1-3 procession.  When we get in front of the Council there will be some other procedural things."  he waves his hands "the normal pomp and circumstance.  You may be asked some questions, just say yea or your name which ever is appropriate.  he rubs his hands together "I think that should do it."

Know-Man walks over to and reaches out to pat Shorty on the forearm.  "I knew you had it in you my boy.  From the first day we shared the horse dinner I knew there was something special about you.  Very proud of you."  he smiles warmly.

Shorty listens carefully to Dualis and catches only two things he really gets.  "Follow No Man and answer questions." He then turns to Know mMan and smiles down at him.  "Me miss time when can sit wid no noise an no fightin.  Was nice talk eben if not unnerstan what youse say.  Youse should come visit baby sometime.  Birdie makin him real smart.  But me tinks youse smarter den birdie.  But don't tells him.  He tink he know all." Shorty looks at the mist and whispers, "Dis kinda scary.  Eberyone watchin an askin  hard question."

In reply to Shorty (msg # 793):

Know-Man smiles.  "After this we should take a little camping trip and relax by a fire."

You all notice an eerie silence about you and then the mist begins to lift, actually fall.  The tops of the trees become visible first and as the mist lowers, the tops of the rock stands.  You see Sir Joshua and Trinny on the top row of the left stand, Sir Joshua has his book out.  The top of the right stands is full of animals.  The mist lowers further and the other rows become visible and it looks like both left & right stands are filled with a mix of animals and you also notice a few dwarves, elves, gnomes & a few other humanoid races mixed in to the crowd.  You also notice a few other treants line the field.  The mist disappears and you see the 7 World Council members in their spot.
   Each of the trees, Hicks, Sherri, & William all have some kind of silver strands thru their branches.  The animals where some kind of gold necklace, each beset with a pervious gem, puma has an emerald, unicorn has a sapphire and the bear has a ruby.
   Alannon is dressed in a white robe with a green sash around his waist.  There is also some kind of gold circlet around his head and he also holds a white staff.  You will also notice that there appears to be an eagle sitting atop Alannon's chair, after which you notice other birds of prey in the trees behind the council.

Alannon then stands up and bellows. "Let the Chosen and his entourage approach."

At which point Kaine, Dualis and Know-Man begin to move forward and then the rest of you follow suit.  A low buzz of sound starts to emanate from the stands as the procession moves forward.  The sound increases to roar as your group reaches the front of the field, at which point Alannon puts up a hand for you to stop about 20' feet from the council.  At this time the sound becomes a murmur again.

Alannon addresses everyone with a loud booming voice.
   "Citizens and friends of Arcturus, an event we have waited long to conduct, the crowing of our Green Knight."

A mighty roar of the crowd goes up, a wind sways the trees and a rumble of thunder is heard and felt by all in attendance.

After the roar dies down Alannon continues. "Citizens of Arcturus, presenting the Representatives and Sponsors of our candidate from the world of Delith.  Come forth and be recognized."  Know-Man, Kaine and Dualis take a step forward, squares of light begin to shine beneath each of their feet.

Alannon: "Dualis, Arch-Mage of Delith, do you stand by your pledge?"  Dualis replies "Aye"

Alannon: "Kaine, Arch-Druid of Delith, do you stand by your pledge?" Kaine replies "Aye"

Alannon: "Know-Man, mentor of the candidate, do you stand by your pledge?" Know-Man replies "Aye"

"Your acceptance has been noted."  Alannon says and motions to his right. The trio then moves off to the right side of the council.

"Come forth Candidate and his companions"  Alannon bellows.  Four square areas light up in front of the council, one closer and 3 just behind.

Assuming you all move forward and stand in the lit squares, Shorty up front with the other 3 behind.

Alannon announces: "Companions of the Candidate come forth and be recognized."  a square to the right of Shorty lights up, the one Trysk stands on fades.  "Trysk of Delith, do you stand by the Candidate?"

This will go on in this order .. a square lights up to Shorty's left then right in succession.

"Morteft of Delith, do you stand by the Candidate?"

"Warwick of Delith, do you stand by the Candidate?"

Shorty for once stands quietly.  A bit overwhelmed by it all.

OOC: I actually meant for you three to be beside Shorty now, so we will go with that.

After Trysk gives his 'Aye' Alannon continues  "The Candidates Sponsors and Companions have been recognized and their Aye's have been noted.  Now the Candidate must imprint himself on Arcturus and Arcturus onto the Candidate."  Alannon's voice intensifies "Come forth the Five Elements of Arcturus."

About 10' in front of Shorty a fountain of water gushes forth from the ground and remains fountaining at a 6' height, no pool of water forms at its base.

Just to the right, 2', of the fountain a bolt of lighting comes down from a clear sky, the energy remains, crackling and maintaining a 6' height

Just to the left of the fountain a column of rock rises from the ground, 2' from the fountain and standing 6' high.

To the right of the crackling energy a small tornado spins into form, swirling at about 6' high.

To the left of the rock column a pillar of fire erupts from the ground and continues to flare at a height of 6'.

The elements remain as they are for about 10 seconds and then they begin to move toward the water fountain, closer and closer until they begin to merge.  Sounds of thunder, hissing wind, rushing water, sizzle of flame, crashing rock fill the air the sounds merge as well the roar reaches a crescendo and the quickly settles down into a soft melody.  The merged elements spiral around each other in a column that is now 12' high.

Alannon voice booms "Shorty, stand within the 5 elements, imprint yourself on Arcturus and Arcturus will imprint itself on you."

Shorty stares in wonder as each of the elements appears before him.  His hand reaches forward a bit as if to touch them, but instead he clutches the half melted holy symbols at his throat. He whispers as he watches them move towards each other.  "Ooooh, Pretty Lady Magic... neber see afore. " At Alannon's command, Shorty steps forward and into the column which is much less scary than all the people staring.

In reply to Shorty (msg # 801):

You see Shorty step into the column of mixed elements.  After he is enveloped you can begin to see a faint ring of the elements cycling up and down from his feet to his head.  It does not appear to be injuring Shorty in anyway.  This last for about 1 minute.

After the minute is over the column of combined elements shoots up into the sky, creating a trail as it goes.  When it reaches a great height it separates into little shooting stars which end it large star burst patterns making numerous booming noises that you all hear on the ground.

The crowds in both stands erupt with all sorts of noises

Shorty stands there with a fading crackle of energy about which is gone in a few seconds.

The 'cheering' does not diminish for several minutes, and many birds fly back and forth over the field.
