Knowing what the “Oh Sh#$#” probably meant Ez’ard quickly backs up so he is not in the line of sight of the corridor tugging Shorty along though not waiting if he is being stubborn.

OOC: So to clarify this is the N corridor which hugs the edge of the pool room…

OOC 2: Could Ez’ard see anything down the corridor since he did not have the glasses on?

Shorty grab s Ez’ard by the arm with one hand and opens the North door with the other.  He staggers through the door and shoves Ez’ard behind the door in hope of keeping him safe.

Trysk telepathically yells, *Bosses 50 feet spellcasting!* as he teleports back into the corridor from where they came from.

OOC: OK, some things are about to happen to shake things up.

The team begins to scramble at the warning of a spellcaster.  Shorty makes a move for the door and as soon as he touches a wave of magic go over the 3 in front (Ez'ard, Trysk, Shorty).

OOC: Yes, Trysk is in Wraithform but this is a different type of spell.  No save either.

Shorty, who just grabbed Ez'ard, looks at Ez'ard with a snarl and throws him against the wall (3 pts of damage to Ez'ard) and Shorty goes to attack.  Ez'ard scrambles to his feet drawing his weapon.  Trysk goes to stab Shorty but misses.

The mage casts his spell, a brilliant prism of light shoots forth, fanning out and hitting the trio (all 3 need to save vs magic).  Warwick and Morteft are out of range.

Trysk is hit by an indigo beam .
Ez'ard is hit by a green beam
Shorty is hit by a yellow beam

Warwick may react, Morteft already made a move.

Depending on green beam effect, Ez’ard tries to back away from Shorty and casts invisibility in trying to escape from the rage spell (or whatever it is) Shorty is under.

OOC: The only actions available to Shorty, Ez'ard and Trysk is to attack each other.  Shorty knows 1 method, Trysk and Ez'ard have several options so you can send suggestions.

Shorty saves and takes 40 points.  Shorty swings his sword but misses Ez'ard of to one side.

Ez'ard, it is poison so if he saves he takes 20, otherwise falls over.  He may go invisible but will still try to fight Shorty.

Trysk saves and no other effect. He attacks Shorty next.

Warwick cannot see the 2 enemy but he knows they are about 70' ahead.

Shorty is not brilliant, but he is no fool.  He turns his back on Ez’ard and the dagger and faces the frostbrand at first.  As Shorty comes around, he leads with his shield (OOC: Shield bash with +4 missile defender Large to anyone except Shorty).  Shorty follows the shield bash with 3 swings from New Horizons.

Shorty turns to strike Trysk with his shield, but it is a little clumsy given his leg and Trysk is able to evade giving Trysk a chance to face up on Ez'ard.  They will fight next round.  Which is soon, 1 more move.

Ez’ard fails to hit Shorty so casts an invisibility spell on himself for some defense.

Yes, Trysk realizes that too and comes out of it to attack Ez'ard.

The elemental pops up in front of the group.

You then hear a crackling of electrical energy in the near distance and some screams.

This begins the next round

Trysk will be able to attack before Ez'ard is able to cast the Invisibility spell.

Throwing daggers appear in Ez’ard’s hands and are just as quickly released heading towards Trysk. A wand is the next thing in his hand.

Warwick yells to the elemental.  "Laddie, please take out the duo at the end of the hallway.  I think it be a lich and a death knight."

After Trysk cancels Wraithform he continues to attack Ez'ard.

OOC - Boy, I hope we find protection from these types of spells soon!

The action heats up with Trysk and Ez'ard battling.  Trysk thrusts with his sword but misses and Ez'ard tosses a pair of daggers, the first misses Trysk but does hit Shorty who is behind Trysk, doing 3 points; the second dagger slips from Ez'ard's hand almost hitting himself in the foot.

Warwick orders the elemental forward and it begins its trek.  Morteft than walks past Warwick and begins casting a spell.

Shorty starts to raise his sword aiming at Trysks head, he misses the first and then prepares another strike.

Morteft's spell is cast and then the three combatants stop in mid swing.  The three sort of look at each other, knowing what they were doing but not being able to stop themselves till now.  The other other thing you all notice is that your items feel heavier.  Any marbles flying around Shorty's head fall to the ground.  Shorty also feels his mind become free of complicated thoughts such as, well, thinking.  More or less, just do it.

You then see the elemental up ahead, small bits of rubble falling to the floor and then the elemental just crumbles. Just on the edge of your view is a warrior with sword and shield.
