In reply to Morteft (msg # 921):

"Ez'ard, can ye take us out of here, then?  To the pool room?  We might as well explore that with our spells active.  When our protection spells run out, we should consider leaving this complex to rest and regain spells, no matter the urgency that Dualis and Art are placing upon us.  Our dying stupidly won't help anyone.*

No traps, but there is a secret door, in the NE corner of the room, the N wall next to the throne.

Re: Delith: Into the Unknown

Ez’ard gets everyone’s attention and continues, “There do not seem to be any further traps in this room. However, there is a secret door over there (points  to the NE corner of the room lined up with the thrones) and if my memory of the layout we have explored so far then I think it leads to the bedroom we encountered earlier. As for myself, I do not think going back to the pool room, which is just past the bedroom by the way, serves any purpose until we take out the Lich and warrior.”

In reply to Ez'ard (msg # 925):

*Then let's check out the secret door.*  Warwick activates his boots to fly and attempts to support Shorty's weight so that he can walk easier towards the door.

In reply to Warwick (msg # 926):

Ez’ard heads over to where he found the secret door and starts examining it and the surrounds  for the latch. If not there then he returns to the thrones to see if one of them has a secret button to open the door.

In reply to Warwick (msg # 931):

Shorty holds up a hand as he positions himself in front of the door.  “Shows Trysk hows ta open.  You look quick wid funny eye tings.  Tells me where ta find dead ting in room.”  Shorty motions for warwick and Morteft to get out of the line of fire through the door.  One target is enough.

Re: Delith: Into the Unknown

In reply to Warwick (msg # 935):

The team gets in position preparing to open the secret door.  Ez'ard tells Trysk about the mechanism.  Trysk, Shorty and Ez'ard are in tight at the door, with Ez'ard in front to any baddies on the other side, Shorty just behind.

Warwick goes airborne and Trysk activates the mechanism, the secret door opens inward without a sound and it is completely dark inside.

Ez'ard puts on the specs and gives a quick look.  The room looks as before, different angle, but there is no one in the room.

New Horizons does not sense anything either.

Re: Delith: Into the Unknown

In reply to Ez'ard (msg # 937):

Shorty decides it is time to pull a Shorty.  He points to the rods Trysk and Ez’ard use to detect traps.  “Bees any trap in da room?”   While he gives them time to check out the space, Shorty reaches into his backpack and pulls out a large emry sack.  He unfolds it and holds it ready.

If there are no traps,  Shorty asks Ez’ard.  “Where bees shelf you say got stuff on its?  Gonna makes dem come find usn.  No like dis game no mo.  Take him toy so want us bad.”

In reply to Shorty (msg # 938):

OOC: There is no shelf. There is a cabinet with clothes, 4 tapestries, and a bed for the most part.

No traps are seen or detected.

Re: Delith: Into the Unknown

Keeping his glasses on for a moment more Ez’ard uses his wand to detect traps. He concentrates to center the detect on the cabinet by the bed.

He sends to Shorty (and everyone), *Not shelf, but cabinet. Probably for his wardrobe. It is right next to the bed on the east wall.*

OOC: posted after Ron but that’s okay it flows…

Re: Delith: Into the Unknown

In reply to Ron, The DM (msg # 941):

Shorty follows Ez'ard's directions to the cabinet. He opens it, but force if necessary and uses the bag to scoop anything and everything that fits in it into the bag.  He isn't looking for anything in particular...  just hopes to take things that will anger the lich or warrior... he is not sure which one uses this room.  He wants them to come looking for their things.  Then ge rejoins his friends outside the room.

In reply to Shorty (msg # 942):

The cabinet opens easily and inside area just a few articles of clothing, a cloak, leather vest, leather belt, buckskin shirt and a pair of boots.  All look normal and of no great value.

In reply to Ron, The DM (msg # 943):

Shorty will shove it all in the sack anyway.  Even if there is no value.  Then if possible, he will knock over the cabinet to release a little frustration before exiting the room.

*Where to, Warwick?*

Trysk uses Locate Object from his Frostbrand to search for fire opal similar to the one he has.
