Re:  Delith-1a:To catch assassins

In reply to Shorty (msg # 838):

Tzar looks back at Art, realization dawning "Yeah, that's right, nothing happened to you and then you don't show up and boom, we get hoodwinked.  What's up with that, and you would be just about perfect for Firefox, you and her both fire beings.  You bet we'll talk."  Tzar does not sound angry just fired up .. pardon the pun.

Re:  Delith-1a:To catch assassins

In reply to Ron, The DM (msg # 839):

Morteft says, "Tzar knows, as well as I, that the eye has no influence on us where it is located. It is in a bag of holding and it cannot reach us. You do not have to worry about it influencing my decisions. If Dualis does not want it on his property without it being under his control, that is fine. I have a few places I can put it."

Morteft looks to the others. "I think we should destroy the eye not give it to Dualis just because his magics redirected me. What do you all say?"

In reply to Morteft (msg # 840):

Trysk sighs, "There is wisdom in destroying it, but are ye sure we can do it safely? We do know a humble ant that should be able to destroy it. Perhaps we can confer with him, or was it a her?"

In reply to Shorty (msg # 833):

OOC: Seems out of order a bit…

Ez’ard sends to Celestron, *First I (not the eye) did not bring it. I did not even get a chance to kill the Ike. Tzar was the star there. I did keep Shadow from finishing off Trysk though. And then he skipped town and left Coos to fend for himself which ended rather badly for Coos by the way. He had a set of magical daggers that returned after being thrown. And then we got these magical manacles…*

Ez’ard continues as he enters the library, “That eye thing tried to sway Morteft and Tzar until it shrunk and was put into a Bag of holding. So what this about Shorty? What he do when I wasn’t around to keep him straight?”

In reply to Ez'ard (msg # 843):

Morteft says, "Humble ant then. Since Dualis doesn't want it in his keep, I will drop it off ten feet below where Warwick and I met the first time. Unless something happens, I will see you at Dualis' keep within ten minutes."

He teleports away.

Re:  Delith-1a:To catch assassins

In reply to Trysk (msg # 845):

Morteft disappears.

Art sighs and looks around the group.  “You are all acting like Dualis is planning to steal the eye from you.  He only asksed you to leave it in his care until you fully understood the danger of what you are playing with.  Celestron has only had a short time to research this, but this eye is tied to prophesy and your team may be in over its head if your tamper with the device or destroy it.”

Art motions to the giantess and they pick up the poles and lift the box.  Then they are gone.

Moments later Celestron’s voice comes over the team channel.  “Do any of  you know of an event called Ragnarok?  Imit and the Titans are involved in that final battle of the Gods.  Unwise actions on your teams part could bring about the destruction of several realms.”  Celestron mutters to himself as he is apparently reading while speaking to you.  Then the link fades out.

He doesn't go. There has been a change in how the eye can interact outside the bag of holding. He dumps it in the box.

Re:  Delith-1a:To catch assassins

In reply to Morteft (msg # 849):

OOC:  Morteft, in this case, is less knowledgable than Trysk or Tzar who both experienced the Eye's dual presence in the Prime and the Ethereal.  The bag or portable hole, you used both terms, is an extra dimensionable space.  The Eye;s voice is muted in the Prime while it is in whichever location Morteft stored it.  It is less muted on other planes.  If will seek a deal with another entity to release it.  It will then try to subvert that enemy to gain vengence on the land it just left and anyone else that it believes has wronged it.  It may be lawful neutral, but it is insane without Imit.  That is probably more than I should give, but well withing Celestron's ability to dig out had anyone taken the time to discuss it with him.

Re:  Delith-1a:To catch assassins

In reply to Warwick (msg # 854):

OOX:  Adjusted timeline.

The Eye comes out of the portable hole and everyone winces as it begins to speak again.  It threatens and pleeds and it is obvious to all that it is not same.  Morteft flips it into the box and Art slams the lid shut.  His finger traces several runes along the seam between the lid and the bottom and the Eye is silenced.

Art and the giantesss lift the poles again.  Art looks at you and asks, "Want a ride?"

For those that accept Art's offer, your quickly return to the knoll outside the castle.  The dor is open and you follow Art and the giantess inside.  Art takes the box into the library and they set it down near a table piled with open books.  Celestron floats above the dozens of open tombs.  His gingers move from books to book as if he is comparing the information there.  He pays little attention to the group.  Art cocks his head to one side.  "You can clean up or you can get started.  Ez'ard and Dualis will return as soon as they fix whatever the ogre broke this time."

Acrtions?  Ez'ard will return in the morning Dualis will not return until late the next day.

Trysk can evaluate the gems and jewelry, as well as Identify Magic items.

Can't Celestron examine the magic items for us, though?

We could put Tzar at the end of the order or in place of Shorty. Either works for me. Probably at the end makes sense or we could reshuffle the order too.
