Delith: Raid on Black Doom

In reply to Ez'ard (msg # 894):

OOC: Busy weekend

Ez'ard, Shorty and Tzar remain in the temple area and Ez'ard moves toward the stone wall blocking the entrance.  Ez'ard casts Dispel Magic on the area but he wall remains in front of the door, he then sighs and informs Morteft of the situation.

Shorty practices kicking the heads of the lower planes creatures.  He finds it a little easier to kick the demon than the devil, the barbs on the devil head does make it a little uncomfortable to kick.  The demon head almost wraps around his foot as it is a bit squishy; however both heads a very resilient.  Shorty will shank some kicks, sending them into the benches where he needs to retrieve them.

Delith: Raid on Black Doom

Shorty makes sure his new balls are in a safe place and unlimbers his maul.  He never quite understood why Morteft wanted the walls to behin with.  Unless another solution pops up in the form of Morteft, Shorty will take down the wall in front of the door he originally opened into the room.    Wgen the rock is cleared away, Shorty will glance at the set statues.  “Youse turn bees comin,” he mutters as he puts the maul away.  Shorty will then clear the rocks aside and open the door.  H will use one of the proken stones to block the door open.

In reply to Shorty (msg # 898):

Morteft appears to be delayed so Shorty sets to work on the wall.  Loud crashes echo throughout the temple. It will take Shorty about 10 minutes to clear enough of the wall to open the door.  Shorty mutters something and he then props one side of the door open with some wall rubble.

Actions?

Delith: Raid on Black Doom

Shorty will put awauy the maul and check that his swords are read to draw.  Then he will send the two heads bouncing down the hall to the next open doorway.  He will motion for Ez’ard to walk beside him and Tzar to guard their backs.  If there are no unexpected encounters on the way to the troll room, Shorty will open the door and kick the two heads towards the gathered ogres.  Since he is not in a hurry, he will watch to see what kind of fun the two heads cause within the room.

Delith: Raid on Black Doom

In reply to Shorty (msg # 903):

Both groups head back to the temple area, Ez'ard, Shorty and Tzar come thru the main doors back into the temple area.  The trio will now see Fritz wearing chainmail and a great sword slung on his back, a mace hangs from his belt.  They also report what they found.

The group moves together as Morteft and Trysk continue to scan.  As the group considers their next move they can hear a slight clunk and a shaft of light can be seen behind the statue of Tiamat.  You all then see a large bat like thing flying towards you.  As it gets closer Morteft will recognize it as a homunculus, it carries a rolled up parchment.

It flies toward Warwick and gives a look at Fritz with disdain.

Any actions before I continue? It will have to fly about 100' before getting to the group?

The group 'debates' as the thing gets closer.

The homunculus flies over to Warwick and drops the parchment in front of Warwick and then flies away at high speed in an erratic pattern.

In reply to Warwick (msg # 916):

As the homunculus zips back to whence it came, zigzagging all the way, Ayre lets loose an arrow.  The arrow looks to hit the creature but bounces off, and the bat like thing's flight is disrupted slightly as it falls a bit before correcting this detour.

Morteft begins casting a spell. By the time the spell goes off the creature is almost out of range, closing in on the statue of Tiamat.  The homunculus continues on it's way apparently unaffected by the spell; however, now Morteft feels the urge to turn into a green slime (save vs magic).

Warwick looks down at the parchment at his feet.  It looks like a fine piece of parchment wrapped in a thin piece of red ribbon.

In reply to Warwick (msg # 920):

The parchment then rises into the air up to Warwicks eye level and unrolls.

It reads:
'You are cordially invited to attend
an impromptu gathering in her ladyship's
viewing chambers.  Attendance is expected
and a blazing time shall be had by all.
Come to the main doors, they will remain
open for you.  Your speedy acceptance will
be most appreciated.'
