Money for Falls River

PAY DAY SUMMARY!

Before Bridget, you guys were given mundane things, magical blessings (Adventure sense and Blindsight), and a magic flute that summons Aquarius. Since Bridget, actual MONEY became a thing!

Part-time barkeep needed for this weekend's Festival of Light. No swearing, no druggies, no tattoos. One-armed Gnomes need not apply written in another hand, below - This means you, Mikas! (I didn't mention a pay for this. We assume Joe did this, but dunno if Mittens bothered. Having an 8-hour shift, or even a 4-hours shift, almost sounds too boring for Mittens. Either way, let's say it was 5 copper an hour. So if Joe worked the whole weekend, he got 120 copper (or 12 silver).)

Import/Export Specialist needed for time-sensitive job. Leave name with barkeep. (This wasn't really delved into. So we'll ignore it. Probably would not have paid much either)

Scroggy needs booze. Bring booze to Scroggy, Scroggy give shinies. (This paid 2x the price of booze. So 6 copper. Since you already paid for the booze, deduct 3 copper.)

Sellswords needed for the outbound caravan. Pay is 15 gold a day. (We took 2 days. We each got paid 30 gold. Up to Mittens if she cheated the people out of 30 extra gold by claiming she is two people.)

Quest: Please find my missing son. 100 gp reward. Inquire at the blacksmith. (100 is this lady's life savings that was intended to pay her son's way through school. She literally can only give 100 gold for us to split. Up to you if you accept her payment or turn her down.)

Poster: Join the town guard! Have a steady career! Pays good! Inquire at the barracks. (Not sure if I listed a pay, but I'm gonna go with twice the pay of a barkeep. So 1 silver an hour. We were considered members of the town guard for all three days we stayed in town and our shifts were considered to be 12-hours. So we each got 36 silver. Again, up to Mitts if she doubles her pay.)

Quest: Wife missing. 200 gp reward. Inquire at the tanner. (200 gp is this guy's life savings also. It was meant as a cushion in case he ran into hard times in his business. Up to you if you accept his reward.)

Quest: Monster spotted deep in woods. Needs slain. 1000 gp reward. (This 1k gold reward was to the person or group that slayed the monster. Not 1000 per person. So it is 1000 split 3 ways)

Assuming you add up everything above for everyone, our party collectively gets:
1402 gold (Plus 30 more if Mitts had her companion be paid)
0 silver (Plus 36 more if Mitts had her companion be paid)
3 copper

Bridget does not fully understand Mittens' power to summon another Mittens and so would not object to Mittens 2 being paid as if a separate entity. Same goes for the guy who was paying.

Estimated Honesty Cash if a combo of "Mittens only gets money once" and "We're only taking 1/4 of the life savings you promised (25 from 100 gold lady, and 50 from 200 gold people).

300-75 = 225 less gold.  So 1177 Gold, and 3 copper.

Or 1,102 Gold (and 3 copper) if the party went full on not getting paid for rescues.

A horn of plenty (lv 4) would cost 840 gold though <.< and mostly exists because a bag of holding is 1,000 and with so many starving people to the point nature checks don't help, buying 100 gold worth of rations and calling it a day is probably not an option.

For simplicity, let's go with 1177 Gold, and 3 copper rather than the other idea I had in mind.

Don't forget this is 1177 gp for the whole group to split three ways. But it is also added to whatever gold you had leftover from lvl 1 shopping.

However, given that 1177 does not divide three ways too well, just figure we each get 393 gp (plus your starting wealth) and ignore the copper.

Considering that Joe's magic item of "ignore hassles of provisions" is about the best this group can hope for with the amount, i say we just go with (1177 - 840) / 3 = 112.33 gp each.

Joe never got that item IC. These small towns don't carry it to sell to people. Keep the money given. I would sooner just gift that item to the team anyway, than have people spend money on something that could be hand-waved with a passive nature check anyway. (We aren't in "orcs over-hunting" area anymore, after all)

So the horn can just be "Huh. Look what I found." retroactively.
