When the PCs can see into this area, read:
This chamber appears to be a great hall or gallery, with fine
couches spaced along walls hung with dark tapestries. In
the center of the ceiling is an opening 15 feet across, and
dim light is visible from the floor above. The floor directly
beneath the opening has tiles of a lighter shade of gray than
the rest of the room.
On the far side of the chamber, two shadar-kai armed
with spiked chains argue with an angry cloaked figure. At
the creature’s side, a spectral wraith shifts within a cloud of
shadow, and the shadar-kai watch it carefully.
PCs who can eavesdrop (DC 10 Perception) make
out that the discussion focuses on the dark one’s liege
lord reneging on a promise to grant Sarshan’s mercenary
forces access to a portal to the world within his
territory.
When the creatures here see the PCs, read:
Suddenly you are spotted, and the shadar-kai lose all
interest in their argument with the dark one as they shout a
challenge and race toward you. The dark figure steps back
as it appraises you, then orders the wraith forward with a
command to attack.

Then Timothius slams the door shut.  Mits readies an attack for when they inevitably bust through.

"The ghost is our priority," Mits says, "Even if it's just one, it's likely the most dangerous among them."

One of the chainfighters manages to wrench the door open from Timothius' surprisingly strong grip.  Mits blasts the two enemies now visible.  The second chainfighter retaliates with it's chain whip!  The dark stalker steps a little closer and tosses a dagger at May, grazing her shoulder!

Raichel steps back and shoots lightning at the chain warrior, shocking him and his buddy!

  Kyle falls back to beside Raichel, and fires an acid dripping crossbow bolt into the more heavily wounded chainfighter.  "True, but not like we can ignore the ones already trying to hit you in the face either."

The mad wraith approaches and touches May's forehead!  May looks confused and attacks Mits, but barely misses!

"Sorry Mittens! Ghost mind tricks again!" May says, "Get out of my way and lemme hit that stupid ghost!" as she whacks the chain warrior in the chest with her carrikal!

"Yeah, I remember," Mittens says, stepping back and provoking an attack from May's chainfighter - the last mistake he'll ever make.  In this fight.  Assuming May knocks him out rather than kill him.

"Zap!"

Mits hits the ghost with her radiant bolt.  It shrieks, and the mad whispers stop for a moment.

Timothius says, "Give up. We're invincible and can keep this up all day." he then sings something and all May's wounds vanish. He then throws white fire at the wraith, making it scream in pain!

Poof!  The chainfighter teleports behind May, turning insubstantial!  It then swings it's spiked chain in a wide arc, hitting Mits and Timothius, moving fluidly to be behind Kyle and Raichel!  Then the dark one tries to slink closer.  But stumbles and fumbles with it's dagger, dropping it on the ground.

"Frak!"

  Kyle is starting to become rather tired of all these insubstantial sorts, "Sure, stand right next to us.  That'll work."  He pulls out his Morningstar and slams it into the chainfighters sorta kinda there gut.

May attacks Timothius, but as always, manages to keep herself from hurting her allies. "I've SO had it with ghosts!" only to be assaulted mentally and forced to be less effective. She charges at the ghost and misses.

Timothius throws more sacred flames at the wraith, once again, causing it pain. "LEAVE us or feel MORE!" he yells at the wraith.

Raichel finally manages to electrocute the stinking wraith. "THERE!"

The wraith kills the gloomblade and another wraith pops up!

Mits fries them both, but the wraith is still surviving.  The chainfighter and dark one both miss their attacks.

  Kyle says "Thanks for finishing that off.  Things should be less painfully annoying at this point."  That said, he steps back beside May, and fires a crossbow bolt right into the remaining Chainfighter's chest, asking "So, was the wraith did the sort of death you look forward to?  Or kind of a lame one seeing how the results lasted about two seconds."

Standard: M weapon vs Chain. hits. 14 DMG.
Magic weapon buff for may.
Chain HP: 47-14= 33 Bloodied.

"ThanksforthemagicKyle! OK. Now that the ghost is dealt with..." May steps south and smacks the dark haunter. "Time to punish you for bringing that thing here!"

"My pleasure," Mits answers, hopping onto the table, "Heh.  Cat's on the table."

Kafwoosh!  Kersplosion of psychic fear makes both enemies scream and the chainfighter reel back!

Timothius says, "Shall I demonstrate again?" he sings "heeeeeal!" and all Mittens' wounds vanish. "Surrender already. The ghosts were annoying. Nothing more. And you guys don't even rank that." the team all seem to briefly glow. Tim moves away. The dark haunter slashes at him only for his slashing to hit forcefield and then his slashing arm gets WHACKED by May. "NOYOUDON'T!"

Timothius then throws a seal on the chain guy's forehead!
