"Captain Whatshisface?!" Mits gasps when she steps in the room, "Not you too!  How could you work for the...  wait.  Where's all the traps?!  Jeez you guys are lame!"

  Kyle comes to a stop behind Timothius, not even being able to see inside the room because of Stairs™

"Intruders!" the blonde dwarf hollers, "Everyone to me at once!"

The sound of hurried footsteps on metal catwalks can be heard approaching.

Raichel shoots lightning at the dwarf, missing by inches. Then puts her staff at the base of the door to keep people from barging in. She will move her staff aside when and if a team mate asks her to.

WHAM!  A thug forces the door open then brandishes his longsword!

"What's with all the cats?"

"Traitor hideout inspection team!" Mittens says, backing up a bit, "And you all FAIL!"

Blam!Blam!Blam!  She shoots dwarf face and minion face in the face!  The third shot was aimed at another minion but misses.  He climbs to near the top of the stairs and returns fire, hitting Mittens!  The blonde dwarf's eyes glow light purple as he gestures at May, pinning her feet to the floor with telekinetic force!  He then laughs and flies out the window!

"You've met your match!  A pity you won't live to see your precious city burned to the ground!"

Timothius goes to the window and peers down. "That's what they all say." he says in a jaded tone before facing his allies and lacing his hands together to sing for them.

May says, "aaaand free. Thanks, Tim!"

  "All the culturally significant structures are made out of stonework here.  But I am not surprised to hear you only have experience dispatching small towns."  Credit for having a plan with more depth than 'CHAAAARGE' though, but he isn't going to say that out loud.

"Stone buildings burn quite nicely, actually," one of the thugs in the warehouse calls back as he hurries for a ladder, "While the flammables within burn, the stone holds the heat in like an oven, making a fire so hot it can melt metal."
