Mittens is brandishing the sock puppet, but remains invisible.  "You killed Imrissa!  Your own daughter!  For the crime of showing you the error of your ways!  Now the champions of the pantheon are here for your reckoning!"

At the mention of his daughter's name, Arantor screams and grabs at his chest, as another skeletal dragon begins to claw out!

"Faaatherrr."

Raichel begins getting feral. While she speaks, her voice sounds more and more like her burning voice, "How many, Arantor?! How many suffered?! Do you even know their names?! Will anyone ever know their names?! Your nightmare is their requiem! And your daughter didn't amount to anything more than them in your eyes or you would have treated her different! Even now, your daughter cries out in hopes her name will not fade like the others!"

She is invisible, so it's not like anyone sees what she is becoming. But her team knows what she likely looks like at this point.

Arantor can recognize the draconic fury and determination in May's eyes as she looks completely unharmed by the dragon's attack.

The dragon staggers and roars angrily from May and Kyle's attacks!

The cute dragon sock puppet appears to talk to Arantor.  "Father?  Why?  Why must you imprison my memory here?  Unable to move on to Bahamut's realm?  Isn't it enough that you killed me?"

"RRRAAARGH!"

Arantor grabs hold of the skull of the dragon emerging from his ribcage.

"Dooon't listen to theeem, faaa..." SNAP!  Arantor rips the skull free, throws it to the ground, and crushes it beneath his foot!  The smaller skeleton falls limp!

Mits flies up out of the mist, still invisible.

Timothius shivers a bit, but heads forward. He bursts with radiance, making Arantor weaker! Then summons brilliant chains of light that bind him! Then he begins drawing ichor from the dragon into his blood-pouch.

Meanwhile, as predicted, all it takes is the eye glaring in disappointment a few times.

Raichel appears, but is now a raichu version of herself and a burning effigy of lightning that appears translucent. "Feel the pain." She spews huge bolts of lightning at Arantor that tear bones off of him!

When she is through, Arantor is sparking with lightning and twitching at random.

May growls, "I don't have to understand why to know that what you did was WRONG!" WHACK! This warrior sure hits hard. "We have seen souls used as fuel for vessels! We have felled exarch after exarch! You are no different and you will fall! Whether you resurrect to suffer more makes no difference to us!"

"Rebuke Undead!" she announces, dramatically shooting a blast of light out of the mouth of her Imrissa puppet against Arantor!

The attack disintegrates several bits of the monster!  Arantor roars in agony from the onslaught of the heroes!

"Just a thought, everyone.  I'm thinking we should probably hold onto some of our big guns for the inevitable betrayal of Kas, and the exarch fight afterward."

He waves a hand to Arantor and the dragon begins experiencing his own daughter's death all over again!

Timothius closes his eyes and regenerates to be good as new. "Right. Exarch fight. I would like to believe Khas won't betray us, but..."

Raichel fires another bolt of lightning at Arantor, downing him before he can get another word in. Her voice and self still on fire, "Khas has no reason to betray us."

Notably, she doesn't turn back to normal yet.

The shattered skull of the smaller dragon re-assembles on the neck bones of the skeleton crawling out of the larger dragon's rib cage.

Imrissa attacks the heroes with a psychic breath weapon!  It then glares at Mits, eye sockets flashing!

May grits her teeth and roars like a dragon, pushing the daze out of herself from sheer determination and says, "Alright... so he found it hard to act normally unless he betrayed someone? COME HERE!"

Imrissa is suddenly forced to go to May and gets slapped across the face with the radiant blade! "Or are you saying he was under a compulsion and couldn't help himself? Explain with words!"

May instinctively knows to dramatically open her mouth at this time Kyle triggers the secondary powers granted by her seemingly useless radiant resistance.

A glowing sword pops out of her mouth like the most violent raspberry.  The sword of course, shoots a laser right through one of Imrissa's eye sockets and burns a hole out the back of her skull.

Shame about the undead lich thing or that might have actually been fatal.

"Good questions, May."

Mits flies into flanking.  Upon seeing the laserbeam charging, she pulls out a mirror and holds it out behind the dragon's skull.  The beam blasts back through another part of the skull and out the front!

"EPIC!"

Timothius says, "She is not Imrissa. The real Imrissa is likely with the Platinum Dragon now. This is just the echo of a tortured father's memories. Her words will be meaningless excuses."

A giant reaper of divine energy appears in Timothius' hands and he swings at a barely visible cord. "In the name of all that is good, I free you."

Raichel's finger twitches and another huge beam of lightning spews from her like an electrical geyser and rips bones apart while disintegrating others. Her burning voice demands, "Answerrrr..." as she clearly stays her hand just long enough for the dragon to at least have one last word before it is vanquished.

The skeletal dragon's eyes glow, preparing for another attack as it monologues:

Meanwhile the laser from earlier taps Mittens on the shoulder.  "I uh... got lost in those tunnels.  It's like the very walls themselves betray you.  How do I get outta here?"

Mits looks over to the talking laser, blinking in a little surprise.  "Oh.  Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right."

The laser nods and shoots through Imrissa multiple times, at one point popping out of the disapproving eye, then finally disappears into the mists.

The dracolich screams and explodes into flowers and sparkles!

Keeping up her burning, Raichel says, "Your answer is correct. I will never understand."

She calls out, "KHAS! The dragon is vanquished... come, let us use your key and together be done with this place!"

May is keeping a sharp eye out.

Timothius says a small prayer over the fallen foe. "Let us keep ever watchful that we do, in fact, never come to understand Arantor."

  Now that was one laser with a real sense of professionalism.  Kyle so proud.

  "So yes, good call on saving our attacks that actually matter.  As it is, even the ones I basically never use for how situational they are feel wasted."
