Re: The Chamber of Lost Souls.  (OOC)

You're keeping that name, right?

quote:
I plan to pass on death in the end anyway.

Well, sure; by the end, that might be plausible.  It's the beginning and middle I'm worried about.

Re: The Chamber of Lost Souls.  (OOC)

What name would that be?

The beginning is easy, the middle is halfway there and then the end is just the beginning.

The optimist sees the glass half full, the pessimist sees it half empty, and the barbarian sees that somebody's been stealing his bloody beer.

Oh, and the optometrist see that the glasses have the wrong prescription anyway.

Also, the cup is blue, the cat is comfortable, and the red duck flies at midnight.

But there is no spoon.

Hah.  I can do this all day!

...Well, except that it's time to go make dinner.  But, um, all day, barring other...stuff I have to do.

There is no spoon because no one has fed you the truth about the lies that surrounds the ethereal utensils.

Could I have a spoon please?  (I'd complain about somebody stealing my beer but my pa says I'm not ready for the strong stuff yet)

Certainly.  A man without a spoon is like a mouse without an umbrella during a game of checkers.

Eponymously, the mauve says recall uranium wave chasms.  Improbable orangutang lilts merrily above the lotion.

In reply to Erista (msg #10):

Please don't post while drunk, it lowers the tone of the place, and you aren't the GM.

Is your Pa with us as well? I'd be careful who you give a spoon to.

Re: The Chamber of Lost Souls.  (OOC)

The little guy walks in, already strumming a heavy driving rhythm from his lute. He wails the opening notes, then begins singing loudly,

"We come from the land of the ice and snow, From the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods, Will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde singing and crying: "Valhalla I am coming!"..."

Setting the instrument aside with a smile he asks quietly, "Does anyone have a spork?"

Or if the kitten singing his song is traveling with an owl.  But he just asked if anybody has one.  I do!

(I keep a set of the black ones.  I call them the Sporks of Mordor.)

Aha.  And I knew that you were going to say that!

Muahahaha!

(Um, just so you know, I am also getting my character actually put together.  I found an actual 3.0 srd site, too - it's harder to use than the 3.5 one, but I found one!  And...I had to revise a few things.  But it's probably better to find that out now. hehe)

Better get started on that planning, Erista.  We don't need players resorting to the evil laugh so you'd better find a way to crack DM status soon.

Re: The Chamber of Lost Souls.  (OOC)

Still waiting on a few people, apart from Erista, to finalise their characters.  Take your time, folks.

I'm looking at starting the slaughter fun and games next weekend, all being well.

Oh, and there may be a rogue waiting in the wings, if the player gets back to me.

Re: The Chamber of Lost Souls.  (OOC)

"Better we die in bloody battle than warmin' our dainty toes in feather beds, thou froggin' yeasty hedge-pigs !"  Aarnr bellows equably, beating out the time to Oswald's tune with his ale-mug.  "I like thy song, little fellow !" he pronounces his approval of the halfling. "Ye may come with me to the demon-grave."

OOC: And he's the cleric ?!!! <evil laugh grin>  Anyone for a rowdy chorus of "we're all going to die, we're all going to die ..."

Oh ... hello ! :>
