Waiting for the Man...

Garryn and Caylin depart to the south, while Asher, Hau'dn, and Dominique leave for the north.  Villhalas, Totmacher, and Aine remain behind with the living and dead guardsmen.  All await the arrival of the Borderton authorities.  Aine taps her foot impatiently, then grates out to the guardsman, "I'm going to see to the horses, alright?  Not going anywhere, but the animals have been in their traces all evening, and really need some tending."  The guardsman nods reluctantly, and Aine walks over and loosens the harnesses of the horses, talking soothingly to them and doing what she can to rub them down with burlap sacking from the wagon.

Soone enough, half a dozen guards and Savin Perysinos appear, led by the two boys.  The alderman looks around somewhat distastefully as the guards level crossbows at Villhalas and Totmacher--one glances at the decapitated body and exclaims, "Mithras!"  Savin stares grimly at the two half-brothers, his mouth a thin, bloodless slash across his face.  "What happened here?  Why is this man dead?"  The alderman speaks softly but intensely, his eyes narrowed and focused.

Seven bells.

When the Man Comes Around

JasOOC:  Well Tot-bag.  You've certainly got us into it this time.  And left me standing with the empty vodka bottle no less (hehe - I would have expected that from Bri.. I mean 'Asher' -- but you?  Lol)..  Well what do you think -- go for a diplomacy roll -- or did you have ...something else.. in mind???

Re: When the Man Comes Around

Ok, for informational purposes only, Kev, can you show me the spread of the newly arrived guards on the combat map?  How are they armed?

Tot will allow the more articulate members of the group speak, nudge, nudge, Aine and Vil, before indulging the group in Totlogic.

Tot's eyes will begin to glaze over (allow Vil to make his spot check)into what, if Vil is perceptive enough, appears to be his pre-berserk mode...

OOC:  ROFL - Here we go...  Kevin, could I get that map check Tot Mentioned please..  I can see it now, midway through Vil's attempts at staving off an international incident, Totmacher sees Red and ... well - you know the rest of the story by now...
