Auction Five (Mechwarrior)
The boys at the Hoff R&D have been looking over the focus group polls, that they 've put out and the number one demand from mech warriors is a system to keep their mechs cool and capable of dishing damage out on the field.
They've developed a radical and dangerous system known as the "Icebox Coolant system" to 'flush' a mechs heat sinks with a brief burst of liquid nitrogen. While the effects do cool the sinks off, allowing them to vent heat, the sudden shock of temperature changes from hot to cold to hot, has led to some unfortunate accidents.
Game Notes:
The Icebox coolant will flush the heat sinks instantly cooling them off, to allow them to vent more heat. When this is done the number of heat sinks available to vent heat is doubled. The down side is, that each time this is done the player needs to roll 2d6 and consult this chart to see if the Ice Box has inflicted damage on the mechs coolant system. The Ice box may be used up to (3) times before the Liquid Coolant is expended.
2 to 7 ~ Everything holds together nothing goes wrong.
8 ~ d2 of the mechs Heat sinks are damaged and can no longer vent heat
9 ~ d2+1 of the mechs Heat sinks are damages and can no longer vent heat
10 ~ d3+2 of the mechs Heat sinks are damaged and can no longer vent heat
11 ~ Liquid nitrogen backwash slips into the Engine area, Engine Shielding cracks. Mech suffers one engine critical
12 ~ Liquid nitrogen backwash seeps into the fusion engines heat vents. The sudden cold does major damage to the Engine shielding. Mech suffers two engine critical
Icebox Coolant System ~ Cost (# of heat sinks x 1,000cb) ~ 1 ton per 10 heat sinks/ 1 critical per 10 heat sinks
Replacement Liquid Coolant ~ Cost (X of heat sinks x 1000cb) ~ One use of Icebox.

This covers the cost of the equipment, you still have to figure out what youre going to remove to install it. This counts against the mechs customization limits.
Auction Six (Mechwarrior / Cavalry)
TAG has been around just about forever. The old TAG systems were reliable and allowed forward units to paint units for artillary and indirect weapon support. The boys at the Hoff R&D have worked on improving reducing the efficiency of the TAG system bringing down it's heat signature, while improving the effective range of the old TAG system.

Old TAG ~ Cost 20,000 cb ~ 1 ton / 1 crit ~ 1 Heat / 0 Damage / Range 3~6~9
Game Notes:
Anyone may just BUY the Old TAG system. It is considered readily available as a commercial option. The Technicians can easily modify an exisiting Medium Laser to use either TAG systems for the mech between missions. The decision to use or not use the system must be made before the start of a mission.
The new TAG system is available for purchase to the winner of this auction.
