Local currency will be drawn from the players bank 'between missions' and 'capped'

You may draw no more local currency than 100 credit x (your levels of rank + nobility), if you have no ranks or levels in nobility, you may draw 50 credits.

I'm going to presume a 'credit' is equivellant to a 'dollar' in modern currency.

that doens't seem entirely unrealistic, a 60 tonnes M1 Abrahms is a bit over 6 million USD, which is surprisingly close to a battlemech of similar mass.

Probably not, i'm impressively lazy in the heat today though.

The numbers wont change, i'll look at the buying power in MW a little harder when i have a chance to determine what a Credit is worth.

Done... Though 'special' care needs to be taken to allow the tech to be installed in a non Power Loader.  The stuff might show up in auction.  Eventually.

The objective is to see who can reduce the oppositions three buildings to rubble first, so ... if you cant hit the mechs go for the buildings they're not moving and are easier targets.

I think this is just Kitten's attempt to stack the deck in the new Lance Commander Evans' favor.  Note that the penalties would not apply to her or the cadet she's bringing along on her side.

Naw, the numbers will even out.

Thantos and Devlin will only be at a penalty of one

Millie will be at normal stats, but she's in a 25 ton mech in a unit of 165tons

Marge will be at normal stats, but she's a cadet.

Everyone else i think will be at penalty 2.

Johan, Camille, Adam, Caitlin, Cade, and Svend will all be at -2.

The odds are pretty fair and even.  The team with the better dice, or better team work will win.

If Adam wants to command, Millie will let him, but the first fight he's going to have his hands full piloting a foriegn mech and getting the rust off, so she didnt want to distract him with the burden of command.

Millie downgrades (?) to her EW mech and Maggie will still be awful.


X-3s maaaaybe are at a slight advantage first fight that's very debatable.

Second fight they're probaly at a disadvantage unless Op Force just has fits with her EW.

Will work out the cost for you load cost later Svend.  Giving you the shopping list everyone else has gotten, youre free to chat about it now if you want.

There were modifications to the list, between standard mechs and x-3s obviously and Adam/Johan werent able to get the rank bumps since they're essentially 'at the top' already'

still roleplaying to do.  I'm in no rush to get to a mission just yet since i want to get my pathfinder campaign settled and moving along before starting something like that.

Two of six adventures started so, when they're all moving along i'll start the combat mission.

You'll excuse the disbelievers who have to take a -2 penalty.

As for the private threads, still tinkering with how to keep the group cohesive.

Nonsense, just trying to decide how I'm going to follow up that post, while deciding how much non-combat and conversation I can come up with between now and tomorrow's little ditty of a slaughter.

It's intention to keep the RP going through combat.

No one dies in war games and there are still things to develop for this campaign, more roleplaying in this contract...

It's a good thing I bought up my Leadership.  Going against Johan's score and out a -2 penalty would have meant simply always moving first.  Totally would impress the cadets. ;)

Well, I hope we don't simply keep falling down due to missed kicks!  That would certainly impress the cadets.

Op Force base target for intiative is +2, + or - the difference between the commanders.  If Johan is higher, it goes up, if it's lower it it goes down.
