Mutant Year Zero: Big City Blues

The world ended a long time ago. A combination of grub, water and fighting for both led to humanity driving itself into near extinction. Nature has reclaimed humanity's cities, tirelessly removing every trace of her wayward children.

You're the spawn of humanity, but you are not human. You are mutants: people created to better survive in the new Earth. You were all created by the Elder long ago, and you lived inside the ARK. The supplies of canned grub within the shelter has kept the entire shelter fed, but they are starrting to run low. The ARK cannot remain closed, but there was something more dire than the cans running out.

There are no children within the ARK, the people unable to add to their numbers. No mutant has reached their thirteth year yet, but if no way can be found to add to their numbers, the people face a slow extinction. The only person who knows how your kind was created is the Elder, but he is old, and some say he cannot even relieve himself without help.

However,there is still hope. The Elder, in the rambling of age, hinted of a place which would not only be a safe haven for the people, but may also contain the secret to their survival: the mythical Eden. If Eden does exist, then everything will be fine once it is found.

The problem is finding it in the first place.

===========

Welcome to Mutant Year Zero: Big City Blues. Granted, it;s a working title, but that's part of the fun. As was stated in the opening, you are all mutants: people created by humans for reasons known only to the Elder. In this game, you will be explores searching through the ruins of Earth, warriors who fight to defend against threats to the ARK, workers trying to make the ARK a better place, the voices of the people as they find ways to solve problems, and desperate survivors trying to survive the night.

Will you find Eden and save your people? Withh you read your people to ruin? Or will you somehw anage to create  third option. All these and more in utant Year Zero: Big City Blues.

Mutant Year Zero: Big City Blues

I love the MY0 setting/campaign, but have never gotten a chance to play with the associated system. That said, I'm not going to be able to commit to anything for at least a week, so if you're still planning/recruiting by then, I'm very interested.

Mutant Year Zero: Big City Blues

One of the better Mutant/Post Apocalyptic settings out there, in my humble opinion.  Having just re-read the Character Creation Rules, I'd definitely be up for a game.
