Interest Check for Vampire game based in Victorian Period

I am thinking of running a Vampire the Masquerade game based in London during the Victorian era. It will be semi sandbox. Players will participate in Full Group, Small Group, and Solo stories.

It will be in London, but I will not be using many of the Canon Characters. I want to streamline the world some what. Having Mithras sitting there with the ability to kill someone with a look. Well not really, but close.

how much 'sandbox' and how much VtM ?
I like some structure to my characters (and I like Merits and Flaws to). But the idea does intrigue me.

In reply to ShadoPrism (msg # 5):

There will be four types of threads.

1st) Elysium Threads: These are general freeform no challenge. No ST direction

2) Large Group Threads: These are threads that have ST direction all players invited(mostly) Examples: Prince's Court, Parties, and Etc.

3) Small Group Story Threads: These are threads with smaller number of players using brought together by ST. Sometimes, Players will want to pursue certain avenues, so they may choose who is in Story.

4) Solo Threads: These are threads with just a single player with St Direction in story. Normally, Players will only participate in one Solo thread at a time.

Time is tracked loosely. My goal is to have a few Small Story Threads intermingled before each Large Group Thread. I have found from other Sandbox games that simply location threads are ineffective in most cases.

This sounds like a fun game, are you planning to use dark ages? or just straight masquerade?

I plan on using a combo of both. The reason is that the Camarilla has gone into the age of humanity. By the Victorian time most morality roads had been replaced with the path of humanity to better blend with society. Lasombra and Tzimisce have joined the Sabbat. Many older clans have seemly ceased to exist.

The basic creation and mechanics will come from V20, but if players can show need Dark Ages 20 I will consider

You're not using Victorian Age: Vampire?  White Wolf published a book specifically for this time period.

I own it, but prefer the V20 line compared to the outdated Victorian Masquerade books. V20 is a superior product, and the Victorian Books will be used as a useful tool for general information.

Also denoting interest! Haven't looked very closely at Victorian Age: Vampire yet, so the usage of V20 is a boon as far as I'm concerned.
