IC: I Spy for the ... ?
Does anyone remember Mercenaries, Spies, and Private Eyes? It was the RPG for modern adventures published by Flying Buffalo, who also produced Tunnels and Trolls. MSPE uses the 80s T&T engine, with skills.

Do you remember the James Bond 007 RPG? It won several awards when it was first published in the early 80s.

I'm thinking of using one of the two for either a Sci-Fi spy game or a classic 80ish Cold War spy adventure.

Any interest out there?

Oh, definitely. My vote would be for the Cold War spy adventure over the sci-fi game.

Do you have a game system preference, NowhereMan?

If I recall, MS&PE is a little more flexible than James Bond, but I'd leave that to your judgement.

I’d be up for it. :)

There’s always the old Top Secret/S.I. too...

Is there a game system you prefer, TCArknight, of the two mentioned?

Both are vaguely familiar, but I think that MS&PE would win out for me..

I would also be interested in a spy/espionage game, preferably Cold War, only have Top Secret, never played any of the others.

Okay, let's give this a go. The game system will be Mercenaries, Spies, and Private Eyes. The setting, the Cold War years of the early 80s. There's a rules primer in the game threads for those unfamiliar with MSPE.
