Babylon 5 [d20]

Would anyone be interested in playing in a Babylon 5 [d20]?

I have a couple of game ideas. Although, I admit, that most of it is pre-written stuff.

  • The Final Flight of Santiago: 2258 is an election year, and Luis Santiago is fighting for his political life. Ten years on from the Earth-Mimbari war, the Alliance is divided. The colonies push for more independence, Earth worries about alien influence, the megacorporations are turning EarthGov into an oligarchy, the post-war expansion boom is petering out... and the Mars question isstill political poison. In a desparate attempt to turn his re-election around, Santiago takes EarthForce One out on a tour of the Alliance, promising to solve all these problems and more.

That's where you come in. As Santiago's advisors and experts, the players will have to grapple with some of the thorniest issues in the Babylon 5 setting, all the while pushing their own political agendas. Who do they serve and who do they trust - and which of them is the traitor working for the Shadows and Vice-President Clark? - This uses premade characters, and one character will be working for Vice President Clark (and Possibly aligned with the Psi Corps and Shadows).

  • Cold Equations/The Ragged Edge: Set during 2259 and centers on interstellar espionage and conspiracies, on the movement of shadows and light set in motion the climatic events of the following years. At the campaign's beginning, the PCs know nothing of the twilight world of spies and secret organizations; by the end of the campaign, at the fall of night, they will find themselves the masters of a star-spanning alliance that could be the deciding factor in the Shadow War.

  • The Fiery Trial/Into the Crucible: A campaign that stars in season one and continues into season two. Potential for further after that.

  • The Eurystheus Campaign: This is an EarthForce game. All PCs are EasrthForce members assigned to the the EAS Eurystheus. The start of the campaign is actually a prequal to the main campaign. The prequal has premade characters and takes place during the Earth-Minbari War. When the prequal is over the main campaign starts in 2258 with your characters being assigned to the ship. Although, don't be surprised if the earlier premades are still are as NPCs with higher rank.

Not sure what Fiery Trial would even be as it seems somewhat generic but Cold Equations looks like a good start.  Or Final Flight without the premade characters limitation, which never actually helps.

You had me at "Babylon 5". Long-time fan.  I'd be very interested.  The Eurythesus Campaign sounds especially great, as does the Fiery Trail.

Great to see some interest. T

he Fiery Trial is a story arc written by Mongoose that covers the first season of Babylon 5. The characters can be of pretty much any background (although I would probably suggest no active military), and do not need to know one another. I can't say to much other than the characters may get involved in some of the big things going around, but not in an up front sort of way.

Into the Crucible is the same type of set up for season 2, but follows right after Fiery Trial.

If anyone has any questions please ask.

Babylon 5 [d20]

I see, I almost never do anything with published adventures in any games so I often don't even recognize their names.

Babylon 5 [d20]

Yup, Babylon 5 is just so good.

My vote would be for

The Eurystheus Campaign

Aside from that no real preference, just so long as a game is made!

Love B5, so any scenario is fine by me. I do not have rulebook(s), so some help will be needed for character creation and play.

I have no problems helping people. After all the book is out of print.

I will work on getting a game set up in the next couple of days, if not sooner.
