Anyone else excited about the new edition? Anyone else have access to the draft rules?

It’s wild there’s not more around here. Seems like there’d be more. Maybe the baboons ate them.

I've occasionally been curious about what little I know about the setting, though I know nothing at all about the system, neither the previous nor the new edition.  I'd be interested in at least seeing a game writeup thread, if a total ignoramus to the rules would be tolerable.

Or the Kergilians. Or the Glorious Lords. More likely the Glorious Lords.

In reply to Hapax Legomenon (msg # 5):

Cam Banks has posted the core of the new system. You roll 2d6. You succeed on a 7+ if you’re the aggressor / instigator; you succeed on a 8+ if you’re in the defensive / reacting. Either die comes up a 3, that’s a bad twist. Either die comes up a 4, that’s a good twist. Double 3s or 4s gives you two twists. Damage is similar to consequences in Fate. You have several player defined traits. Your level determines the rating of your traits. If your level / traits are higher than your opponent you get an advantage, if lower you’re at a disadvantage. That’s the gist in a nutshell.
