Fallout: Factions
Well the title is pretty straightforward, I'm looking to start a fallout game where the players build and lead a faction.
We will use a basic homebrew SPECIAL system. Skills, talents, etc won't be used since the game will be based on faction actions and not the player. However, the players are still free to explore and go on expeditions out into the wasteland.
Factions will have To be unique. I will already have the enclave, legion, ncr, the institute, railroad, brotherhood and followers of the apocalypse, the minutemen, etc exist and be npc factions.
Game will take place in Midwest America, with the factions all meeting each other as they have expanded across the waste.
Players will be able to recruit followers, get supplies to make them stronger, make alliances, declare war, build settlements, etc.
The game will likely be rated adult.
Simple maps will be used to help give visuals.
Players can create simple factions like a small settlement trying to survive, or they can make a vault, or they choose to be a bandit group, or for those who have grand dreams you can create a faction to directly compete with the likes of the ncr and legion.
Gameplay will be focused on roleplay, not a complicated system. The mechanics will be simple, I want the game based on politics, bargaining, and alliances not rolling.
