NWoD Games - DtD or VtM
I am lookign at running one of two games here, after my long hiatus without a cvomputer, I am itching to get back to a game. I have two major games running through my mind, and am looking to see which gets more reception and interest. Specifically, I am looking to run qa VtM/VtR 2nd mash-up, or a game of Demon: the Descent set in pre-historic times. Without further ado, let's share the blurbs;
DtD: Where Giants Fear to Tread
Set in the pre-Flood times in the middle east, this game follows a small tribe of humans and their Unchained god/protectors. Thsi is a game of cultand civilization building that where the Ring pools their resources to nurture their humans, whether this is out of altruism or as a means to combat the Creator, that is up to the players. This game will focus higher powered demons, with some house rules to set the mood. This game follows the first of the Fallen, those that followed Semyaza the Lightbringer, one of the greatest Archangels forged to watch and control Humanity, but him and his fell, the First Legion took charge of the various groups of humanity, uplifting them, and becoming their protectors. You play one of the First Legion. Antagonists include angels, and other supernatural, along with fellow demons looking for more humans to worship them, or conflicts of interest.
Vampire: Fall of the House of Tremere
This is a more focused game, following a plot seed from Beckett's Jyhad Journal, this is a game for Tremere and Salubri characters. It deals with the schism of Clan Tremere as Saulot wakens. I am thinking an ancillae level game, dealing with the repurcussions on al ocal and global scale, following the Clan reamkign itself with Saulot as the head of the clan, and what it means to have an Antedeluvian awake in the modern world. Soem say this is the start of Gehenna? Perhaps they are wrong, perhaps they are right. It is certainly a game changer. The game starts as the characters (of clan Tremere or Salubri) are driven to meet. They recieve visions from two different figures warning of Saulots arrival, some visions paint it as a good thing, urging them to join the new, whole clan. Others warn of great devastation. All the while Clan Trmeere fractures from the inside.
