Having stumbled upon an excellent formula for me to run a campaign, and noticing the severe lack of high level games, I am checking to see if there would be interest for an open world, form your own group and pick your own adventure campaign set in a custom world where a sudden war has been wages on the good citizens of the realms.

The latter. It's an open world game where players will meet and interact in a common area (more than likely in this game the barracks, or training grounds) where they can group up with others to take on various missions of their choice. It's a "war campaign" in the sense that there's a war going on, the kingdoms need help, so they're taking on anyone willing to fight in exchange for wealth and titles.

It has been a while since I played a high-level game and a couple of the games I played in just folded so color me interested.

I like the concept and having higher level characters battling together sounds exciting. For myself, would think that high level characters would be more interested in titles and/or positions. If you do decide, count me in.

I normally prefer low-level, but I trust your skills as a GM. I'm in.

I actually did something quite similar in a 4e game of mine. It was a party that had to get into a besieged city to rescue a hand full of wizard apprentices. Most of the city had fallen so it was traveling through enemy territory to get to their goals.

It was a high danger as a handful of adventures mid level pc would still be no match for a company of soldiers.

I could be interested and would be willing to share some of the ideas I had for my other game if you need some filler. I would also be willing to run a side group depending on how many players you are looking to include.

Seems there's a healthy interest, so I'm going to go ahead and work some stuff up. Thanks guys.
