So, I've been debating it for awhile, but I've been contemplating running a game of Chronicles of Darkness that is crossed over with the setting from the narrative choice based browser game Fallen London and it's companion video game Sunless Sea.

For the most part everyone would be playing as standard humans who are completely new to the world of Fallen London (but the players do not have to be, of course) but would be able to change based on their choices and actions through the game. (IE: become Drownies, Tombcolonist, Rubbery Men, Devils, etc)

And while there is quite literally massive amounts of stories to draw canon and inspiration from, I figure the game would follow a more loose interpretation of the settings history since the very fabric of reality if amorphous and changeable (according to video game lore).

I have to admit...this sounds pretty sweet. I imagine this would be Chronicles of Darkness/New World of Darkness?

This would most certainly be a Chronicles of Darkness game, as given the era, it would be best suited to using a combination of The Chronicles Core Book and the Dark Eras Book, with maybe the occasional addition from the various supernatural monster books as well to accommodate special abilities and powers.

Interested, although I've been off of Fallen London for about a year now, and my WoD player-cred spans only to... Uhm... First edition. I think I made it to 'Changeling' and had to put everything down.

I haven't played Fallen London in a while, but this is a very interesting concept.
