Well, I wouldn't say future tech is in the visible future.  Keep in mind that, while the game scenario will be similar to the television program's premise, the fact that I am not a member of that program's production means that this game will just be SIMILAR and most Colony trivia will not be applicable to the game.

That's a good thing in my case, since I have exactly 0% familiarity with the program.

If there is an online send for d20 modern, I would most definitely be interested.

A game with similar feel and setting but with superheroes is a better idea, I think.

I have only seen a little of the TV series, I would be interested if it were done in D20. I have no experience with MnM.

I'm cool with D20, and I haven't seen the series.

How many people here will play if it is D20 Modern with some D20 Future eventually coming in?

How about M&M 2e Agents of Freedom?  How many will play?

I'd be interested either way, but heavily lean towards d20 Modern.

MnM for me. A superhero resistance fighters vs aliens that have already taken over earth is what I was looking for.

MnM I suppose. Just got the books for it.

What I'm asking, people, is if it is NOT in the system you prefer, would you still play?

I was looking for a game that I can play my character conception, if I can't then I'll wish the game luck and continue looking.

I'd be interested in either of the mentioned systems, but contrary to Vane66, supers are a no-go for me.

I would still be interested no matter the system, but it may take me some time getting use to whatever system you go with.

Just because they are supers doesn't mean it can't be gritty.

If there's an online SRD for the d20 modern, sure. I can't find my M&M 2e books, so I would have to pass on that.

@Vane66: Well, yes.  But it's what I thought of on the fly.

I'd be in, if you'll have me.

I much prefer MnM 2e and superheroes with a decent amount of points (anything below PL 10 is boring; you're not superheroes then.)

However, d20 Modern with some grit thrown in is fine, but again, a decent starting level is important to me. Characters less than level 8 are terrible.

@AscendedMaster: I DO welcome you.  However, your pre-set conditions show you will not welcome me.

The Superhero setting is definitely low PL most likely 6. It's because at the game start the characters aren't superheroes anymore, they are survivors. The biggest and best heroes (superman, wonder woman types) were all killed or taken. Those that survived were the ones low enough on the totem poll to not be major threats until after the aliens won.

@Vane66: Yes, that's how I'm making the story out to be.
