I've run a game of Tokyo Heroes IRL before and I'm about 95% sure I ran it correctly. We had fun. Not sure how well this system would translate to play-by-post but it's been a while.

I've got a Sentai team in mind. I've watched ToQger, Kyoryuger, and grew up with Power Rangers so I plan on running a game set with those sorts of tone- lighthearted and diving into serious business here and there.

Looking for a cast of 5 American teens and young adults looking to go globe-trotting collecting shards of a giant crystal before the bad guy does. I don't have a motif for the vehicles or stylet that's something as a group that can be decided.

Thoughts, questions, comments?

I'd like to play too, especially if we can mess with the conventions a little bit, like having superpowered transformations instead of battle robots. Though battle robots are still pretty cool.

Yes, he means instead of Zords having Super Modes and what not. I mainly see it to avoid the problem with Megazords being piloted by one member while the rest take a back seat. Unless it actually has something for that.

Yeah, Vicedets, zeone3000 pretty much has the right of it. The example given is magical girl transformations, but that's obviously not the only option.

That's probably a good idea, the Zord fights wouldn't translate that well to play by post. In my group, nobody really seemed to mind, everybody was alright with delegating to the Red Ranger to lead like in the show, the scene never lasted too long where people felt useless.

I think I'll create a game and invite you all, we can discuss more there.
