IC: Shipwrecked!
I've been considering reviving an old idea of mine as a way to ease myself back into pbp gaming.

Basic Premise: A group of Traveller d20 characters crash land on a fantasy world planet.  In order to get off said planet, they have to walk to where there's a rescue beacon so they can be picked up.

Basically T20 meets Pathfinder.

In reply to Hunter (msg # 1):

Wow.  Take a look at the comic series Rascals In Paradise by Jim Silke.  This sounds like Trash-9 would be a great fit for your adventure.  Warning:  definitely Mature content is included in the comics.  They might also be a bit difficult to find.

Wikipedia sez:  Rascals In Paradise

A little by-play:

"Man, are we glad to see you fellas!  You saved our butts back there."

"Captain von Kreuzer of the Chrysler Rifles at your service, ma'am."

"Who were those guys in the face-paint with all those spears?"

"Adherents of the native religion, ma'am.  They would have given you over to their gods, so it's a good job we were here."

There's plenty of places to pick up sub-plots.  I'm just checking for interest in the game idea.

I'm not certain if it got overlooked or there's no interest but I wanted to post to be sure about the interest level.

I'd be interested though I haven't played traveller before, with most of my d20 experience being pathfinder so it might take me a while to work up a character concept etc.

Think sci-fi characters in a fantasy world.   That's the basic premise, and I've run it over the years via tabletop with varying degrees of success.
