S.C.P. Foundation New World of Darkness IC

Hello I am looking for interest of five people at least to make a New world of darkness game based on the SCP foundation. This time the foundation will be a goverment property think like NCIS or CSI but for supernatural cases. I have a full on world in my mind for it and it will take place in Washington D.C. area.

This could be fun. How would this be different from, say, Task Force: VALKYRIE in methodology?

1- I have NO earthly idea what taskforce Valkyre is.
2- this will be an all mortals game, basically they taking on dangerous monsters from all over the world.
3- I plan of having a background where my character recruits all of yours to form the first SCP team.

TF: VALYKYRIE is a U.S. government Hunter organization. They investigate and eliminate supernatural threats on U.S. soil. Details are in Hunter: The Vigil. The main thing that makes TF: VALKYRIE interesting is that their units have no supernatural ability, even their Endowments (special bonuses being involved in a particular conspiracy) are technological.

The Foundation very specifically does not eliminate things, in general.  Now, part of that is due to the difference in setting: The large majority of skips are relatively benign, essentially invulnerable, or more dangerous to destroy than to contain.  Part of it is a matter of policy, though.  Anything that can be safely contained by existing technology can be studied, and any developments brought about through that study may have applications in dealing with the more problematic skips.  They are fundamentally an organization of scientists with paramilitary units available, rather than a paramilitary organization with scientists available.

In reply to Karixia (msg # 8):

This is an older topic, but it's worth clarifying that there are actually two editions of the "new" world of darkness (now actually referred to as Chronicles of Darkness). The first edition is what was colloquially referred to as the nWoD, the second is the revision including the god machine rules update and setting tweaks that was re-released under the new name Chronicles of Darkness. Both are distinct from the "old" world of darkness (both its original and 20th anniversary re-release).

Just for clarity's sake.
