[IC] Cthulhu Dark

quote:
"The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown.""

"The world is indeed comic, but the joke is on mankind."
-HP Lovcraft

The Kickstarter for this game finished up last week, but the older edition of the rules still exist online. It's a very simplistic game about nearly powerless Investigators uncovering horrific plots and solving mysteries without hopefully going insane or killed by the scuttling things that exist on the very fringes of our reality. It is not a game where things go well for the characters, it's more of an experience where we play to find out how much you can salvage before everything falls apart.

Character creation is as simple as choosing an Occupation and building a character background. As for posting guidelines, I was thinking that I can cater to many different tastes. I'm available almost daily, perhaps multiple times a day, and would be willing to organize different groups by their ability to post. Running with a number of players is not difficult because there's really only your Occupation and Sanity that matters, all can fit in the normal character details and tags.

If the interest is out there, I'll start organizing and creating a game for us to enjoy!

Yes, yes, yes. I was actually thinking of running a CD game on rpol but I would happily play. I have read the victorian era scenario in the book but will happily hold off reading anything else
